After a simple rebirth

In the evening, Fu's mother asked about her summer job again. She was obviously very happy when she heard that she had found one.

"It's newly opened under the bridge. It's quite big. It should be an electronics factory. Its name is something like Technology Company."

The next morning, when Fu's father went out, he woke up Fu Ying and Fu Zhe. Fu Ying and Fu Zhe were the last ones to go to work.

Fu Ying and Fu Zhe had breakfast and arrived at the factory gate. They found that most of the people wearing green clothes should be regular workers. There were also some people wearing their own clothes like them, who should be newcomers or summer workers.

After a closer look, I found that this factory is really big. There is a very wide building opposite, and the one on the left looks like a dormitory where you can see clothes hanging out to dry. The two buildings on the right are the same size. One is the one they entered yesterday, and this is the one with the most people entering.

They went up to the fifth floor together to wait for the HR and another boy, and then the three of them were taken to the second floor together to have their fingerprints recorded. Fu Ying was afraid that her fingerprints would be scratched, so she recorded her ring finger, and Fu Zhe recorded his thumb. It seems that he still doesn't understand the dangers of the world!

After recording the fingerprints and entering, the HR pushed open the first door and asked if there were any more people inside. Fu Ying looked and saw that it was the winding group, but she didn't know much about it. After getting a positive answer, she asked Fu Ying to go in and communicate with the group leader, and then took Fu Zhe and another person to an unknown place.

The team leader looked about the same age as Fu's mother, with a round face. He explained the rules of winding to Fu Ying.

This wire is the copper wire in the motor. After she threaded the wire, she fixed it on the mold, and then stepped on the pedal below. The machine will automatically rotate a fixed number of circles. After checking that there is no problem, she stepped on it again to make it rotate.

Fu Ying watched her demonstrate twice, and then she asked Fu Ying to stand next to another person and learn.

It was very boring to just stand there and watch, so the girl started chatting with her.

So, the morning passed by watching and chatting.

At lunch time, Fu Ying followed the people in front of her to line up and clock out, and waited for Fu Zhe to go to the canteen. But she found that everyone else had taken lunch boxes to get food, and the two of them didn't bring lunch boxes, so they decided to go home to eat.

After asking, Fu Ying found out that Fu Zhe and Fu Ying were in the same workshop but different groups. Fu Ying was in the winding group, while Fu Zhe was in the assembly group. Fu Zhe said that he was just slacking off at work. When the senior employees asked him to measure resistance, he measured two and went to the toilet. In the toilet, he saw more people slacking off, and several of them would go to smoke at any time.

Fu Ying didn't know what to say. In fact, with a personality like Fu Zhe, it would be easy for him to get along with those people. He wouldn't suffer any loss. It was also good to be able to slack off. Fu Zhe was a fast learner anyway.

While eating, Fu's mother also asked about their work situation. Fu Ying and Fu Zhe answered and then prepared to take their lunch boxes. If they had to work overtime in the evening, they seemed to only have half an hour to eat.

My working hours in the afternoon are the same as Fu Ma's, so we go out together.

In the afternoon, the team leader arranged for Fu Ying to do it, but he asked her to wind a few coils first and measure the resistance to see if it was qualified.

Fu Ying took a long time to wind the first coil because she found that the machine showed 21.5 circles, which was just right for the first row, but half a circle more for the second row, so the number of circles later would become less and less.

She had no choice but to unwind the thread, pull it tighter, and try winding it again.

She passed the second lap, but when she started the third lap, Fu Ying was very surprised. She fell off the line again and still failed. She asked the busy team leader, and she said that a difference of half a lap was okay. Fu Ying was relieved.

After winding this one, she stops. Like the old employees, she first puts the coil into the mold and screws it in, then puts it in the oven to bake it, and then measures the resistance after it cools down. This process takes an hour.

During this period, Fu Ying could only watch how others wound the wire, what the movements during winding meant, and why they did so.

The resistance of the coil passed the test. The team leader required 0.6-0.8, and Fu Ying measured it as 0.6, which was exactly in the normal range.

The team leader asked her to make another one, but she needed to add glue. She used very little, so she just asked other colleagues to pour some for her.

Fu Ying followed their example and cut the disposable cup until only 2 cm of the bottom was left, then went to her elder sister who had learned it in the morning to pour some glue.

The team leader told her that the first layer should be fully painted, then the third layer, and then the fifth layer.

Fu Ying followed their example and after fixing the coil, she first pressed it tight against the edge with tweezers. However, her hands shook carelessly and the copper wire was broken.

Needless to say, Fu Ying knew that broken copper wire would lead to poor resistance, so she cut it off nervously, then re-pulled the wire to fix the coil, and then started winding the wire.

I don’t know if it’s because she cares too much about the coil, but Fu Ying feels that starting from the second round, there will still be half a circle or a full circle more. But the team leader said it’s okay, so Fu Ying had to continue winding.

At the end, Fu Ying looked at the coil with three more turns, and silently unwound the thread until the two threads at the head and tail were together, and then cut it. As for the machine, she could press the next column to skip, and the machine would show that she had wound two.

It was sent to be installed in the mold again and dried, and the resistance was 0.5. When I asked the team leader, she said it was OK. Fu Ying felt more relieved and thought that as long as it was OK, it was fine.

I walked around one more time and watched from the sidelines, and it was time to get off work.

You know what, the first day felt pretty fast.

The team leader said that everyone in the team had to work overtime, and after lunch, they would work until 9:30 or 10:30.

Fu Ying and Fu Zhe took their lunch boxes and went to queue up for food. They both had to work overtime, so there were a lot of people. It took them nearly ten minutes to queue.

The dishes were stir-fried cabbage with meat, a chicken drumstick, and a cucumber salad, two meat dishes and one vegetable dish, and the taste was average. But since it was included, I didn't care too much.

Fu Zhe eats fast, but Fu Ying is slow. It was already 52 minutes past the hour when they finished their meal. They didn't even have time to wash the dishes, so they went upstairs to punch in directly.

Fortunately, we came up early, because we had to queue up to clock in, and Fu Ying was able to clock in at 56 points.

Fu Ying was not assigned to wind coils in the evening, she was responsible for sorting the coils.

Fu Ying puts the coils they have wound into different baskets according to their sizes, and when a basket is full, she puts it on the shelf next to it.

Those coils were quite heavy, and Fu Ying almost couldn't lift them. The guy who was doing the screw driving saw them and came over to help her move them, saying that she could come back to him if she couldn't lift them. Fu Ying thanked him.

Fu Ying thought she really had to work until 10:30, but one person left at 8:30, two left at 9:30, and at 10 o'clock, the team leader simply asked everyone to go home.

Fu Ying had gotten off work, but Fu Zhe hadn't. After thinking about it, Fu Ying decided to wait for Fu Zhe to go together. It was so late, and it would be safer for them to go together.
