Fantasy Game: Infinite City

Chapter 128: City of Sin (7)

On a residential building on the edge of the city, close to the beach park, a man was hiding behind the curtains, nervously watching the situation outside through the gap in the curtains.

Fortunately, there are not many people here. Unlike the inner ring of the city where my friends live, it is very quiet here.

"Hello? Hello!"

He took the phone off his ear and looked at the call from his friend which was still ongoing but no sound was coming out. He suddenly felt a chill in his heart and a tingling feeling on his scalp quickly invaded his whole body.

"Boom! Ta-ta-ta-ta-ta!"

"drop."

A noisy sound came out of the phone, mixed with the sounds of gunfire and fighting, and then the call was suddenly hung up.

He didn't think that it was his friend who hung up the phone. He must be in danger. He was a little frightened and threw the phone on the sofa next to him.

In this city, the day and night are completely different, which is commonplace, but so far, there has never been such a serious situation. As a "foreigner" who came to this city because of the high salary, he now begins to regret his decision.

"I've decided. I'm going to resign tomorrow morning and leave this damn place at noon!"

There was nothing special at the beach park. He was just about to go to the window on the other side to see if there was anything unusual on the street when two figures on the beach suddenly caught his attention.

"Still on the beach in this condition? What's going on?"

Two people walked onto the beach, a man and a woman. The woman looked a little nervous and occasionally turned her head to look towards the entrance of the beach park. The man didn't care at all. He even opened a coconut juice stall on the beach and took a coconut to eat.

The distance was not too far, but the sound of the rising waves covered up their conversation. I don't know what they were talking about. They stayed on the beach for a long time, almost half an hour. After that, the man suddenly looked in one direction, and walked away in that direction while communicating with the woman.

"In this case, anyone who is still outside is either crazy or has something to do with what happened tonight. I hope they leave quickly..."

The man left the window and came to the door, locked it, and even blocked the door with a shoe cabinet. Then he went back to his bedroom, locked the door, and lay down on the bed, wanting to get some sleep and get through the night quickly.

However, he was too nervous to fall asleep, so he decided to turn on the computer and watch a movie to distract himself and relax. Anyway, he had already decided to resign and leave tomorrow, so it didn't matter whether he slept or not.

He walked out of the room and went to the kitchen, got some snacks, then returned to the bedroom, lay on the bed, opened his laptop, put on headphones, and found a comedy to watch.

"boom!"

"Da da da!"

"Boom!"

"boom!"

However, just over ten minutes later, the sound of fighting was heard in the community where the man lived. However, the man was wearing headphones and did not hear it at all. The sound was getting closer and closer, but the man was unaware of it and still lay on the bed in the bedroom.

But he was lucky enough not to notice that the building he was in had slowly become the center of the battlefield.
