James did not give up because of the temporary failure. He followed Ender, Sirius and Remus back to the real Gryffindor common room, the same position, the same sitting posture.

James asked again: "Are you really not going to join me?"

Remus shook his head quietly.

"Are you sure?"

Sirius nodded affirmatively.

"the last time……"

Ender felt uncomfortable watching James's repeated requests. He wondered if they were too harsh on James. All James wanted was to be with them, but they... Oh, Merlin, how uncomfortable James must feel, being rejected like this repeatedly.

"How about I..." Ender began. In his imagination, James would look at him expectantly and hope to hear everything he said.

Who would have thought that James glanced at him sideways, snorted coldly, and turned his head to one side, as if he didn't want to pay any attention to him.

"You want to win me back now? Humph, I refuse."

Without giving Ender a chance to explain, James looked at his disappointing friends and left the table angrily.

The three of them were left staring at each other, sitting on the sofa with their eyes on each other, asking each other what happened to James. Especially Ender, his doubts were about to overflow and drown the entire lounge.

Ander: What's wrong with him?

Remus: Are you sick?

Sirius: I don't think so.

Several people looked at James's departing back in astonishment. As James disappeared from their sight, they lowered their heads, not knowing what they were thinking.

Ender leaned forward slightly, put his arms on his thighs, supported his chin with his hands crossed, stared at the tips of his shoes, and tapped the ground unconsciously with his feet. At this moment, the entire Gryffindor Common Room was unusually quiet, with only a regular "dong dong" sound coming from it.

On the other side, Sirius still maintained his nonchalant look, leaning on the back of the sofa, with his legs casually crossed. It was his casual, lazy but proud posture that made most of the girls in Gryffindor College fall in love with him.

Unlike the other two, Remus seemed much more relaxed, his calm temperament making him look particularly gentle. However, if you look closely, you will find that his actions of tapping the armrest with his fingers from time to time reveal that his inner emotions are not as calm and relaxed as they appear.

The three of them sat in this silent atmosphere for five minutes, until Sirius felt a slight pain in his head, as if his scalp was being pulled.

Sirius carefully checked to see if his hair was caught in the gap of the sofa. When he found nothing, he immediately knew what was going on.

But he didn't rush to speak. After making sure that his actions would not arouse any suspicion, he collapsed on the sofa again like a boneless person.

"hiss--"

Remus, who was next to Sirius, gasped. He pressed his scalp, which was stinging for a moment, and did not move again.

When Ender heard Remus' voice, he looked over and exchanged glances with the two men. He suppressed the smirk on his face and said nonchalantly, "What's wrong, Remy?"

"Nothing, maybe it was caught accidentally."

"Oh~ That's it."

Ender made an expression of sudden realization. He casually stretched out his hand and grabbed a handful of air. "What do you think is going on, James?"
