HP: Hogwarts, but pro-generation

Chapter 106 Principal’s Office

Meanwhile, Shia said goodbye to Lily and Severus, and she left the library and went to the headmaster's office alone.

Standing in front of the gargoyle at the door of the principal's office, Xia was in a dilemma. Professor Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall didn't even tell her what the password was, so how could she get in?

The last time she went into the principal's office, she ran into Professor Dumbledore outside by accident. It couldn't be an accident again this time, right?

Xia looked at the gargoyle in thought for a few seconds, wondering whether she should try to guess the password. If she could guess what kind of candy it was, maybe she could give Professor Dumbledore, who was sitting in his office, a little scare.

In my mind I simulated a shocked Professor Dumbledore...

Xia shuddered and quickly shook the image out of her mind.

She kicked the gargoyles with her shoe out of boredom, but her mind was still thinking. Xia was silently complaining, "It turns out that even the resourceful Professor Dumbledore can forget things one day."

Before she could finish her sigh, a slightly smiling voice came from behind her, "Oh, Miss Hopps. I think this gargoyle must be eager to tell you what the password is."

Xia was startled by the sudden voice. She recognized Dumbledore's teasing and quickly retracted her foot that was about to kick out. Turning around, she saw Dumbledore looking at her gently. Xia lowered her head a little embarrassedly and said in a barely perceptible voice, "Sorry, Professor."

Dumbledore laughed. He saw Xia's red ears. "Well, maybe it would like me to tell you the password now. Well, follow me."

Xia also laughed when she heard it, and she relaxed a lot.

Following Dumbledore's footsteps, Xia walked up the spiral staircase. When she heard Dumbledore ask her if she was curious why he called her here, Xia nodded. But the next second Xia realized that Dumbledore couldn't see her, so she quickly added, "Yes, Professor."

They came to the interior of the office, and just like last time, Dumbledore prepared a place for her to sit.

Unexpectedly, Dumbledore did not directly state his purpose. He and Xia ate a lot of delicious desserts. Under the temptation of food, Xia became more relaxed.

I have to say, the craftsmanship of the house-elves is really great.

Xia picked up the teacup at hand. She even felt that the tea in the principal's office tasted better.

"It seems that Miss Hopps likes today's dessert very much." Dumbledore looked at Xia with a smile, "There are always many temptations in the evening, especially in the kitchen."

As if hinting at something, Dumbledore continued, "But there are also many dangers at night."

Xia wanted to continue asking, but Dumbledore picked up a biscuit and stopped talking.

She leaned forward a little on the sofa and saw Xia's little movement. Dumbledore said, "Don't be nervous, Miss Hopps."

"Oh, Professor." Xia looked at Dumbledore, still taking his time. She was a little anxious. "Okay, I know what you want to talk to me about."

Dumbledore raised an eyebrow and held out his hand to signal Shia to continue.

"It's Friday, right?"

Dumbledore crossed his arms. He did not deny it, and Xia personally thought that this meant yes.
