HP: Hogwarts, but pro-generation

Chapter 127 Regulus's Enlightenment

The cold and indifferent method that Xia came up with was very effective, but it might not be so effective on other people. Unfortunately, the other person was Sirius Black.

The moment he received Xia's letter, he realized something was wrong. He read the letter over and over again, and cast a few small spells to check if some words were hidden. But no matter how he studied it, there was only one sentence on the letter. He couldn't understand why Xia only gave him a cold reply, "Looking forward to your arrival."

"There must be something wrong." Sirius broke into Regulus' room. He didn't care whether Regulus agreed to let him in or not. He just wanted to finish what he wanted to say. With this in mind, Sirius ignored Regulus's clenched fists and didn't notice that he had a smirk.

"I can't believe Xia would be so cold."

Sirius said this solemnly while sitting on Regulus' bed. He was still holding the letter from Xia in his hand. He was afraid that Regulus would not believe him, so he reached out and handed it to Regulus. Regulus did not take the letter. He had changed from glaring at Sirius when he saw him break into the room to turning away and not being bothered. But Sirius had to reply to his words, otherwise he would keep pestering him.

Fortunately, he had thought of a solution, and Regulus felt a little relieved. He sat at the desk, reading his book, and answered nonchalantly, "Who knows, maybe she doesn't want to write to you anymore."

There are many situations where one does not want to write a letter, either Xia is tired of Sirius or Xia wants to communicate in a different way - for example, she wants to meet Sirius.

Regulus' plan was very good. He only left half of his words unfinished, leaving the rest for Sirius to guess for himself. He was sure that given Sirius' current situation, he could only guess the first option.

He would wait for Sirius to return to his room in a daze, so that he could enjoy another beautiful and quiet day.

Regulus' idea was perfect. Even if Sirius suddenly realized something was wrong later, he could still explain that it was all Sirius's imagination. He didn't say anything.

Sure enough, the next second after Regulus finished speaking, he turned around again with the intention of watching the fun, and saw Sirius with a look as if he had been struck by lightning, and his whole body seemed to have turned gray.

Regulus was shocked, "If you want to break, don't break it here with me!" He didn't want to clean up his brother's fragments.

For some reason, Regulus kindly said, "Don't worry, aren't we going to Hopes' house tomorrow? Can't we talk about it in person?"

Hearing Regulus's comfort, Sirius regained some color. His voice seemed to come from far away, and he said, "It's a good thing I have you, Regulus."

Regulus: What should I do? I feel like you are scolding me...

After calming down the inexplicable feeling of guilt, Regulus cleared his throat and humbly accepted Sirius' compliment: "Yeah, yes."

What if I say this and he comes to me every time to solve his emotional problems? This thought suddenly flashed through Regulus' mind. He paused and added, "If there is anything, it would be better for you to ask Remus and the others to solve it. After all, I am not in Gryffindor and I don't understand many things."

After hearing Regulus' instructions, Sirius seemed to regain some color. He nodded heavily and left Regulus' room.

Watching Sirius leave and waiting for the door to close, Regulus suppressed the growing guilt in his heart. He forced himself to calm down and kept reminding himself to focus on the "Fantastic Quidditch" in front of him.

After a long time, he closed the book heavily. His sense of justice and morality made Regulus unable to read at ease. He thought: Forget it, I should ask Xia what she meant tomorrow. She obviously doesn't want to get involved in these things! Damn...
