HP: Hogwarts, but pro-generation

Chapter 135 Household Magic

Lawrence had already prepared lunch with Anna when he went out to call the boys, and now the girls have helped to bring all the plates to the table.

After washing her hands, Xia came to the dining table and said to the group of boys who had been playing all morning, "We have done a lot of things today, so you guys are responsible for washing the dishes!"

Anna and Lawrence were happy not to have to do housework. Although magic could solve these problems quickly, who would be willing to do it if they could avoid doing it? The boys also knew that they had been having fun all morning, so they had no objection to what Xia said. After all, they couldn't just eat and drink and leave everything to the Hopes and the girls.

They knew exactly what to do and when to do it, even if they had never done it at home, but not everyone could do anything at the beginning. The boys thought that they might study some housework magic, not necessarily mastering it, but maybe it could be used in the future, as there was always a chance of something happening.

Besides, mastering one more kind of magic is not a bad thing. These talented little wizards are very confident in themselves. Learning magic is not too difficult for them. Moreover, they may be able to gain some insights from it and create a new magic. No one can tell about this kind of thing, after all, inspiration comes and goes without a trace.

The distribution of housework after dinner was finalized, and everyone sat down to enjoy lunch. It must be said that Anna and Lawrence's cooking skills were very good. Judging from the speed at which the little wizards finished the food on their plates, they were quite satisfied with today's lunch.

At first, Anna and Lawrence didn't expect so many people to come. When preparing lunch, they were still worried about whether there would be any dietary restrictions. Fortunately, these children seemed to be easy to feed. Thinking of this, Anna and Lawrence glanced at their two troublesome children. They were the pickiest eaters among these people. Anna and Lawrence couldn't help but sigh.

Xia and Andre knew what their parents were thinking. They smiled ingratiatingly but never mentioned not being picky about food in the future. There was no way. No matter how you cook food you don't like, you will still dislike it. Fortunately, Anna and Lawrence were not old-fashioned parents. They didn't ask Xia and Andre to eat food they didn't like. So the issue of picky eating was easily turned over. Anna and Lawrence said that looking at the faces of the two children, they really couldn't force them. After all, who can resist two similar faces looking at you aggrievedly at the same time?

After dinner, Xia, Lily and Penny sat on the sofa and chatted, while Anna and Lawrence were in the kitchen teaching the boys to use some housework magic. Even if they didn't have to do the work themselves, they still had to worry about it. The two adults cried silently in their hearts. If they had known earlier, they would have done it directly, and they wouldn't have been so busy and exhausted by the small mistakes made by these people. For them, there was no way to relax.

"Oh, James. Keep your wand hand lower. Look, the plate has grown wings and is flying away."

"Wow, that's really cool," James exclaimed.

"Sirius! The stress is on the second syllable, not the third. Merlin, look at that poor spoon, it has two heads now."

"Uh... two bites of food at a time?" Sirius said uncertainly.

Ignoring Remus leaving the fork bare-branched, Christian gluing a plate to a bowl, Severus staining a pot, Regulus misplacing the cutlery, and any other oddities that cropped up, there was only -

"Andre, what are you doing?! That's my favorite cup!" Anna screamed.

"Sorry, Mom. I'll fix it."

The next second, Anna witnessed her favorite cup breaking in front of her, and then it was Anna herself who broke. She pinched Lawrence's arm hard, forcing herself not to put her hands on Ander's head. She forced a smile and said in a calm tone: "Okay, dear, put down the cup, yes, put it down quickly."

Andrew placed the cup on the table timidly, and he moved very carefully, fearing that he would be broken along with the cup. Fortunately, the cup survived. After Anna waved her wand to repair her favorite cup, she said to Lawrence with lingering fear: "It's still alive."

Lawrence calmed his wife down. Seeing that the boys were helping wholeheartedly, he looked at the horrible kitchen without saying anything. He waved his wand and the kitchen returned to its previous cleanliness and tidiness.

In fact, after all the chaos, the boys have almost mastered the magic just now, but compared with the "little" troubles they caused at the beginning, this is not very obvious. However, they still vowed that they would wash the dishes in the evening.

Anna and Lawrence didn't want to dampen the children's enthusiasm, so they smiled and said nothing, but quickly left the kitchen. As they left, they could be heard saying to each other that it was a good thing the kitchen didn't explode.

The boys scratched their heads and gave an awkward but polite smile. They firmly believed that they would make great improvements after learning from their previous lessons!

Lily looked at the boys walking out of the kitchen with a gloating expression, "Oh, it's over? How was the housework and Transfiguration class? Professor McGonagall will be very happy with your performance in Transfiguration."

Xia and Penny burst into laughter when they heard Lily's words. Penny gently poked Xia and asked, "Is this how you do housework with magic?"

"Oh, of course not. This is the first time I've seen it at my age."

After Xia finished speaking, the three girls laughed so hard that they couldn't straighten their backs. They collapsed on the sofa and kept pounding the poor sofa with their hands.

The boys looked even more embarrassed. Ander said pretentiously, "Don't blame us. If you do it, you may not be as good as me, Xia."

"At least I won't almost break Mom's favorite cup." Actually, Xia didn't quite dare to guarantee this, but she didn't mind exaggerating in order to verbally overpower Ander.

Sure enough, Ander crossed his arms and snorted softly. He turned his head away and didn't want to get entangled with Xia anymore.

The three girls had teased these people for a while, so they also proposed their plans for the afternoon.

After receiving the invitation, several people sat in a row on the sofa and listened to the girls' arrangements with great interest.
