HP: Hogwarts, but pro-generation

Chapter 158 The first day of school

The first day of school finally passed quickly under Ender's surveillance. Xia and Sirius both breathed a sigh of relief. Although Ander didn't show anything and the relationship between them was the same as before, Xia felt guilty. Sirius didn't show it on his face, but his morale was sometimes inferior to Ander's, so he was not as calm as before.

James saw everything, and for the first time, he keenly felt that everything would not be over until everything was talked out. Whenever he thought of this, he couldn't help but imagine what would happen if he and Lily... Oh, forget it. Thinking about Ender's behavior in the past few days, it was hard for him to judge whether he was frustrated because he didn't catch up with Lily or because he felt like he had betrayed his friend.

James didn't mean to say that Sirius betrayed his friend, but Ander always had a different opinion on the matter of Xia. If Xia wasn't around, the relationship between Ander and Sirius would be no different from usual, but as soon as Xia appeared, Ander spread his wings like a hen protecting her calves, protecting Sirius from all directions and not letting him get close.

James almost laughed at the thought.

"Baby, have you thought of anything interesting?" Euphemia couldn't help asking as she looked at her son's face, which was trying to hold back his laughter. She knew this troublemaker in her family too well.

"Please, Mom, give me some face." James whispered. He saw Mr. and Mrs. Evans appear with Lily and Petunia not far ahead. "Just call my name outside. I'm grown up now!"

Euphemia and Fleamont couldn't help but give James a hug when they saw his horrible appearance. James' head was firmly locked in their arms, and only his hands were waving to show that there was a person who was almost suffocating. When the Potters finally expressed their love for their son, Lily's family had already walked away. They didn't seem to notice that there was a little boy who was almost suffocated by his parents' strong love.

James looked around for a while, and when he was sure that Lily was not around, he looked at the tip of his shoe with some frustration. However, this negative emotion could hardly stay on James, as he seemed to be born with the ability to bring happiness. He told Euphemia and Fleamont about "Ender, the hen who protects her calves", which made the Potters laugh. They had heard Anna and Lawrence share these interesting stories about the children a lot in the past few days.

"Fortunately, you are not a girl." Euphemia said with a smile, "You are also very important in Ander's heart. He loves you very much."

James thought about it and found that his situation didn't seem to be much better. After all, Penny Evans's performance seemed to be the same as Ender's. James's frowning expression fell into Euphemia's eyes. She and Fleamon exchanged a meaningful look, and then Fleamon pretended to mention it casually: "I think I saw the little girl you visited, Lily, didn't you? She is a pretty and lovely girl."

While Flement was speaking, he did not forget to observe James's reaction, and sure enough, he saw a look of joy on his face.

Oh, it's wonderful to have an emotional child in the house, the Potters couldn't help thinking, not to mention that Ender and Thea were two children who grew up together, and it was really a joy to watch them play together.

A puff of thick smoke came out of the Hogwarts Express, indicating that the train was about to depart. James left his parents' side, jumped onto the train in a few leaps, and waved goodbye to the Potters.

The same thing happened to Ander and Xia. They jumped on the train at the last minute. Sirius was originally with them, but after seeing Regulus, he found an excuse to get on the train early. It can be said that he is the least embarrassed person among the few people.

After several hours of driving and sorting, Xia and Lily were exhausted when they returned to the dormitory, but before going to bed, Xia still shared the last moments of the holiday with Lily.

"You're saying," Lily giggled, now barely able to speak properly, "that Ender's been on guard against you and Sirius? God, that's really protective... Sorry, I just—"

Xia understood what Lily meant, and she expressed her opinion on this comment: "That's true, but it always feels like James' metaphor."

Lily's smile froze for a moment after hearing this. She laughed dryly twice and stopped talking. Xia felt that there must be something wrong. This was too strange. But Lily said, "I'm so sleepy. Good night." She covered herself with the quilt and said nothing else. Xia angrily scratched Lily through the quilt a few times, and then returned to her bed.

Ender knew nothing about this. He was talking to Remus in the dormitory with a worried look on his face. James and Sirius were wandering around the castle. Remus didn't want to have dark circles under his eyes on the first day of school, as it would give him the illusion that he would have trouble in the whole school year. So, he was taken away by Ander.

Remus couldn't say anything about this, after all, he knew this would happen. But he hadn't told Ender yet, so he couldn't just say now, "Hey, man, listen to me, I knew this a long time ago."

Ender will go crazy. Remus apologized silently in his heart, but he also expressed his opinion.

"Perhaps you could ask Sirius or Xia directly? I don't think they would mind telling you." Remus said gently. He could see that his friend was not in a good mood. Otherwise, why would he not even want to join the night tour? It couldn't be that he stayed to accompany him, right? Thinking of this possibility, Remus smiled bitterly. It was good enough for him to make so many friends. He couldn't... ask for more.

"I know," Ender's voice was muffled. "I know I should ask them, but I...well, I just can't accept Xia...oh, she's still a little girl. This always makes me think of the picture of her getting married in the future." Ender lay helplessly on the bed. "Besides, Sirius...there are so many girls in Hogwarts who like him. What if...well, he's not that kind of person, and I know it."

Ender said a lot, but Remus accurately captured the emotions in it. He asked back: "You don't hate Sirius, nor do you object, right?"

He was met with silence in response. Remus continued, "Hey, don't underestimate Xia. She's not the kind of person who would suffer in silence."

"I know." Ander's voice rose a little.

"I have no intention of delving into the current relationship between the three of you, but," Remus paused, as if he was afraid that this question would affect more people, but he continued to ask: "Then will you be angry because the two of them are together? Will you break up with Sirius because of this?"

"Of course not!" Ander sat up, his eyes full of disbelief: "If I were angry, I would have lost my temper a long time ago. I have a bad temper, right?"

Remus smiled, "That's good, and this is Xia's business. I think she definitely doesn't like anyone interfering, even if it's her brother - think about your summer vacation that year."

Ender seemed to understand something, but he still said stubbornly, "Okay, but if you dare to let me find that guy Sirius--"

"Don't worry, if that happens, I'll be responsible." Remus showed a smile that could not be called friendly, and said in a sinister tone: "James and Lily will also be responsible. Oh, and Petunia Evans will also be responsible. I think Snape, Regulus Black, and that Greengrass will all sit back and watch - if it makes Xia sad."

Ender was really surprised. He felt that he was not fighting alone. He shook off this strange thought. He had never been fighting alone. How strange.

Sirius, who was still there, shuddered, as if he had done something bad and was being targeted. He rubbed his nose and hoped that the professor had not discovered him and James. It would be a sin to deduct points from Gryffindor on the first night of school.

Xia, who was already drowsy, suddenly realized that she had forgotten something. She sat up abruptly with her eyes wide open: Ravenclaw's crown!

But the next second, sleepiness overcame her reason and she fell asleep on the bed again.
