HP: Hogwarts, but pro-generation

Chapter 168 Shrinkage Potion

It had been a while since Xia announced that Ender was doomed. It was as if Sirius's spell had smoothed out all her tangled hair, and she went to class and went home with Lily as usual every day, as if nothing had happened. After class, they went to the library with Christian and Severus, and Xia had also gone to the Quidditch field to watch Regulus train several times.

At first, Ander was a little nervous. He kept paying attention to whether Xia would jump out from the corner, and was also wary of whether Xia would cast some prank spells. However, none of these happened, which made Ander suspicious for several days.

As soon as he entered the auditorium today, he saw Xia chatting and laughing with Lily. For a moment, he even suspected that Xia had poisoned his lunch. Ender comforted himself that these were all prepared by the elves, and Xia didn't know what she would eat. Ender adjusted his mood in this way, and he also specially took a plate of steak far away.

"Every nerve in my body is aching. Will she sneak into my bedroom at night and smother me to death? I haven't slept well for several days." Ander complained while cutting steak.

"First of all, Xia wouldn't barge into the boys' dormitory for no reason. Secondly, you didn't sleep well because you were out at night with James every day. Sirius didn't go out as often as you did."

"It's very sad when you say that," Ender and Sirius said together.

But Ander still relaxed. He thought that Xia might have grown up and would not do anything to damage the relationship between siblings because of a small conflict. He was a little touched. Xia, who was sitting diagonally opposite Ander, saw his eyes and glared at him unceremoniously. Ander bit his freshly cut steak and glared back. As a result, Xia picked up the knife and fork and made a gesture of wiping her neck. It was vicious but not intimidating. Ander couldn't help laughing. But he obviously forgot that he was still eating steak. He laughed and coughed violently, and his whole face turned red.

"Here you go." James pushed a glass of pumpkin juice over. Ender wanted to say thank you but it was inconvenient for him. He gave James a grateful look with tears coming out of his cough.

No one knew what was going on, everything was so normal, just like the past month. According to reason, the third-year Gryffindors had no classes in the afternoon - this was a rare afternoon after the elective classes - James and the others would choose to make good use of this time to wander around the castle or study their pranks in the dormitory.

But today, everything is different.

"Merlin's beard!" James rarely lost his composure like this. He jumped up in shock, staring at the place in front of him that originally belonged to Ender with wide eyes.

Fortunately, there were not many people in the hall at this time, and no one paid much attention to what happened at the Gryffindor table. Moreover, they all knew James Potter's character, and perhaps he had remembered a prank or forgot to write a paper.

Only those who sat next to James knew that they were totally wrong.

Sirius and Remus stared at Ender's seat in amazement. Originally, they should have been on the same level. But now, Sirius, Remus and James had to lower their heads to see Ender.

"This is so--" Sirius muttered.

"What happened? I mean, what happened to Ender?" Remus said in horror.

Xia wiped her fingers gracefully. She glanced at the boys who were still in shock and said calmly, "It's obvious that he drank the shrinking potion."

Then she stood up, leaned on the table and looked at Ender, who was a head shorter than her. She sighed: "Oh, poor Ender was given a magic potion by an unknown warrior. It seems that he will have to stay ten years old for a while."

James and the others looked at Xia with fear in their eyes, but after the fear their eyes turned into excitement. They all praised Xia, one after another, and could make any other witch except Xia dizzy with their praise.

Xia was unmoved. She showed a perfectly surprised expression and pointed out sharply: "Me? What did I do?"

"Yes, take a glass of pumpkin juice. You must have added the shrinking potion into the pumpkin juice." James said excitedly.

"But you served Ender the pumpkin juice."

"Steak? In the steak?" Sirius said.

Xia gave him a wise look. "This is the Gryffindor table, not the family table. I can't stop Ender from eating anything."

"But - could it be that the action of wiping your neck has some confusing effect?" Remus said something stupid that he would never say in his life. After he said it, he immediately realized that something was wrong, because Xia spread her hands and said: "Maybe, I am quite talented."

Lily was amused by their conversation. Now they were the only ones left in the auditorium. She laughed without restraint and clapped her hands on the table. She also said that the boys had "incomparable meticulous thinking."

Finally, it was Lily, the witch who took the overall situation into consideration and thought of the forgotten Ander. She showed unprecedented curiosity. Looking at Ander, who was as tall as her chin, she exclaimed: "Children are much more pleasing to the eye."

James uttered a "Ha!" and when he saw that everyone was looking at him, he raised his chin in Ender's direction and said, "Come on, ten-year-old Ender - oh, a disaster."

Xia nodded in agreement and said, "Yes, especially with a ten-year-old James around. But now James is thirteen years old, and he is still ten years old. How pitiful."

At this moment, the boys truly realized how sharp and mean Sylvia Hopps was.

But Sirius said that this made her even more attractive. He squatted slightly and looked at Ander. "It's really strange. The brother who was calling me a brother a second ago has really become my brother."

As soon as these words were spoken, everyone became excited. They suddenly had a strange and evil interest: to see who Ander would call brother or sister first.

The strange competition started, and no one even proposed it or explained the rules. But unexpectedly, these Gryffindors understood each other's eyes.

Remus: I just said there's nothing wrong with my brain, I'm still on the same wavelength!

Xia's eyes were filled with joy, and she looked like she was about to give Sirius a hug: "You are a genius! Sirius!"

Sirius humbly accepted Xia's compliment. No one cared what little Ander thought. He looked at everyone angrily and asked a sincere question: "What's going on?"
