Lily received James' letter, and she and Petunia cheered in the room. Mr. and Mrs. Evans did not agree to their request to visit.

"Honey, you have to give Xia some time to spend with her parents, right? I promise you can have fun during the summer vacation, but leave the Christmas vacation to her and her family."

Lily and Petunia accepted. They wrote in the letter that they really hoped to see their friends soon. They couldn't wait to know what happened, especially after seeing what James wrote about a mysterious person saving them!

"James doesn't seem to be a good storyteller."

James read the contents of Lily's letter. His mouth opened in surprise as if he was learning these words for the first time. He continued reading: "Petunia and I don't know what's going on now!"

"We didn't know what happened when we wrote the letter." Ender comforted his friend who looked very depressed. "Lily blamed you wrongly."

"Half of it is about the great rescue plan he prepared but didn't implement! The other half is about how Sirius escaped from the Black family and also said that Severus was indifferent!" Sirius took Lily's letter from James and read it aloud, "Merlin, Severus cares as much as me and Petunia, he just..."

The sentence was harshly crossed out, and Sirius could only make out a little bit with his eyes narrowed. He asked, "Just what?"

"I don't know," said Ender.

"Okay, let me see what's written next." Sirius continued reading.

"And he mentioned Christian. What does this have to do with Christian? I mean, what on earth happened?!!! I'm really going crazy!" Sirius imitated Lily's tone and read. He stopped here and looked at James with gray eyes. He had to say something fair: "You are indeed not a good narrator, James. Lily is going crazy."

Ender agreed with this point of view. He took back his consolation and said, "Lily didn't blame you wrongly, James."

Then he snatched the letter from Sirius's hand - the poor letter was already wrinkled after being snatched back and forth by three people - and read:

"If possible, please tell us about your current injury - I don't mean that you have to be injured, but - oh, Penny said to write it down as the situation, yes, that's the situation - can you tell us how you are? And the girl with you, is she okay? Mom and Dad don't let Penny and I visit you, I think they are right, you still have to spend the rest of the holiday with Mr. and Mrs. Hopps, it is really inconvenient for us to disturb you - finally, happy holidays, and I look forward to hearing from you, I can't wait to see you when school starts!"

"God, I forgot school was starting," Sirius said.

James didn't recover from the shock until Ender finished reading all the letters. He retorted: "This is not fair. She didn't even care about my plan or why Sirius ran away from home! I just said something like 'some Slytherins like that guy named Snape are too cold' and she wrote a letter specifically for that. This is not fair!"

"Why would she care about the reason why I left home?" Sirius asked curiously, "But I agree with you on one point. It's unfair to mention Snape after my story."

"Enough!" Xia took back the letter that belonged to her, "This is my letter, okay! If possible, please leave my room!"

She emphasized the word "my room". After Betty and her parents left, these boys stayed here like goblins digging holes and refused to leave. Xia was touched but also felt that they were a bit annoying. She could understand that this was their concern, but she asked them to respect her as a patient. Why can they eat steak! Pudding! Biscuits! Chicken legs! And she! Can only! Eat some pumpkin juice! And vegetables! And tasteless baked meat pies!

"Ms. Xia, this is the lunch that Carl prepared for you." Whenever Carl opened his eyes and looked at Xia expectantly, she couldn't say anything to refuse.

"Uh, Carl, I want to eat something else, like..."

"Miss Xia is a wounded patient and she needs carefully prepared food." Carl said.

"Alright alright."

Xia picked up a piece of green grass and stuffed it into her mouth in anger. The meal prepared by Carl was not bad, but James and the others were too abominable. They were always there to seduce her.

"You should have thought of this earlier. You should have anticipated this kind of thing when you became friends with them." Xia comforted herself and swallowed another leaf. "Even my parents didn't lend a hand to help. How abominable!"

Xia thought back to what happened in the past two days, and she couldn't help but cry silently. She wanted to go back to Hogwarts to eat delicious food. She missed the Hogwarts kitchen!

"Want us to leave? Tell us your secret!" Ander's words woke Xia up from her memories, "Who is Lillian?"

This is what Ander has been saying these past two days, James and Sirius also folded their arms and looked at her. Xia always blurted out the words, saying things like "Lillian is Lillian" and "What secret? I don't have any secrets" that sound suspicious.

But today, she agreed, uncharacteristically, "Okay, but I need to ask her first. This involves some 'small' issues."

The three boys nodded doubtfully, which was considered as acceptance.

Damn it, I always feel like I'm being outdone by them. Xia picked up another piece of root and put it in her mouth, chewing it with a crunch. It felt as if she was eating three people's heads instead of the most annoying piece of carrot.

They still live in Priest Manor. James is full of enthusiasm for exploring a new place. He happens to be the kind of child that the elders love the most but also have the most headaches about. He is not worried at all about being disliked by the host family. After all, there is another boy like him in the host family.

There was not a day that went by when Oswin and the others did not expose Ender's embarrassing stories. If it were just him and Xia, Ender would not mind so much, but there were also James and Sirius here - his best friends and also his most dangerous friends. Ender really hoped that the elders could stop reminiscing about the past.

But except for him, the others seemed to have met a friend regardless of age difference, and they enjoyed listening and talking at the same time.

In short, Oswin and Fiona loved James and Sirius very much. After hearing that Sirius had run away from home, they even thought about adding the child to the family tree.

Ender tried to stop him. He didn't want his good friend to become his uncle who was not related by blood. Sirius was also horrified.

James often pestered Oswin to ask about Dumbledore's defeat of Grindelwald. He knew that Oswin and his father had participated together, but it was a different feeling to hear from another perspective. Not only that, he and Sirius also liked Oswin's adventure stories, and they told them much better than Ender!

These happy days reached their climax on the day Joshua and Caroline arrived!

The four old men were so interesting! Their adventure stories could make James and Sirius envious until the day of graduation. As for why that day was chosen, they explained, "Oh, after that day it will be our adventure time! But we still like your stories very much, and we will follow in your footsteps sooner or later!"

"Let's not talk about things that far ahead." Andre pulled James and Sirius over and whispered, "I saw Xia sneaking upstairs. We have to follow her."
