HP: Hogwarts, but pro-generation

Chapter 55: Mr. and Mrs. Priest

The Hopps came quickly, hugging the little ones affectionately and rubbing their faces against them, which tickled Xia and Andre and made them giggle.

Lawrence leaned against the wall with his arms folded, watching the scene. Anna nudged his waist with her elbow and said, "Are you jealous?"

"Not really, it's just a little strange." Lawrence reached out and held Anna in his arms. He lowered his eyes and looked into his wife's eyes and said, "Mom and Dad don't seem like the kind of people who would come back suddenly. Something must have happened."

"Is it because of the letter we wrote to them last time?"

"maybe."

Hearing her husband sigh softly, Anna patted his arm soothingly, "At least, my parents didn't come, right?"

Just as they finished speaking, they heard a short explosion outside the door, and the people who pushed open the door were Anna's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Priest.

Now, Anna frowned, but she was still very happy to see them.

At first, the Priesters did not like to travel around like the Hopes, but after the two families met at Anna and Lawrence's wedding, the Priesters were attracted by the Hopes' free and casual life, and they also began their journey around the world, but in a relatively peaceful way.

At least there are no fire-breathing dragons, evil vampires, man-eating zombies...

"Grandpa and grandma!" Xia saw the Priests who suddenly appeared, and her eyes were filled with joy. "Hey! Today is the best day. You are all here!"

"I really miss you. I have a lot of interesting things that happened in Hogwarts that I want to tell you!" Ender ran out of the arms of Mr. and Mrs. Hopps and came to his grandparents.

"Old buddy, long time no see!"

Mr. Hopps followed Ander's footsteps and came to Mr. Priest. This surprised Mr. Priest. He didn't expect everyone to get together today.

The two wizard brothers gently touched each other's shoulders as if to express their greetings. In contrast, Mrs. Hopps and Mrs. Priest were much more reserved. They first hugged each other in a friendly manner, and then kissed each other's cheeks gracefully.

"It looks like the darlings are going to have a busy summer vacation?" Mrs. Priest said gently. Just based on the tempers of the two old naughty boys, she could already foresee how chaotic this vacation would be.

"Yeah!!!" Xia and Ander cheered again. Their world was finally coming. Daddy should stop trying to force them to help him with housework!

If the inner world could be visualized, one would definitely be able to see raging fires burning behind the extremely tall figures of Xia and Ander, coupled with evil expressions on their faces, as if they were about to unify the wizarding world in the next second.

"So, can we have dinner now?" Anna and Lawrence regretted having lost their assistant Ander, and they could only use the levitation spell to bring the dishes out from the kitchen.

"Is there still some for us? I thought you had all finished eating because we came too late." Mr. Priest said in surprise. He had already planned to take his wife back to Priest Manor for dinner. To be honest, he missed the house-elf's cooking a little.

"Grandpa and grandma, I want you to stay here for dinner." Xia pulled Mr. Priest's sleeve, "You can eat Ender's portion. He ate a lot of snacks on the train today."

"You can't do this!" If Ender hadn't been held in Mr. Hopps's arms, he would have rushed to Xia, but -

"Grandpa and grandma, Xia also ate a lot of snacks. I don't think she is hungry."

Ander looked at Xia provocatively: Do you think I can't?

Xia glared back unwillingly: So what, stupid Ender.

The interaction between the two young wizards made them laugh, "Oh, little guys. We don't want to let you go hungry."

"Don't worry, it will never be your turn as long as we are here." Lawrence said with pretended concern.

He did not receive the sweet comfort from his son and daughter as he had imagined. Instead, they just gloated and said, "Poor dad."

Yes, poor Lawrence. Anna looked at her husband, who was so sad that he was about to grow mushrooms, with pity and sighed silently.

The table was filled with Ander and Xia's favorite meals. Their mouths were stuffed full and they couldn't join in the conversation between the adults and could only listen to them quietly.

At first, the topic was about four old wizards looking for the Yeti in Tibet. Just when the story reached its climax - the Yeti was about to swallow up their camp, Mr. Priest stopped.

Seeing that Xia and Ander were eager to know what happened next, Mr. Priest wiped his mouth elegantly and looked at Xia and Ander: "I am tired after talking for so long. Little wizards, I heard that your life is also very exciting?"

The two little wizards swallowed their food with difficulty and asked doubtfully: "We?"

"Yes, baby." Mrs. Priest rubbed the head of Xia who was sitting next to her, "Do you have anything interesting to say?"

Xia raised her hand to tidy up her messy hair. She saw Ander opposite her gave her a mocking look and made some lip movements. Strangely, Xia understood what he was saying.

He said: Xia with chicken coop hair.

Xia quietly pointed at his head: You are not that good, bird-headed Ander.

This little episode did not disturb Xia's thoughts. She had many interesting things to tell them, but she didn't know which one to talk about.

This was a topic brought up by Mrs. Hopps, which successfully attracted Xia's attention.

"We met Dumbledore the other day - yes that's right, your headmaster."

She looked at Ander and Xia with amusement as they opened their mouths in surprise. "It's nothing. He said you had a pleasant chat, Xia?"

"What?!" The knife and fork in Ander's hand dropped onto the plate with a crisp sound. He looked confused as if it was the first day he met Xia. "Who? Chatting? With whom?"

"My dear, I don't think it's a big deal." Mrs. Hopes wiped the oil stains that were splashed onto her clothes due to the collision of the knife and fork. Seeing that the oil stains were getting bigger and bigger, she felt a little regretful and planned to clean them up after dinner.

Apparently her well-behaved and lovely grandson had not yet recovered from the shock, "No... I mean, why are Xia and Professor Dumbledore chatting together?"

"Dumbledore would not turn away any young wizard who wanted to speak to him, provided he had the time and was in the castle."

"But Xia never told me this." Ender angrily poked the fork into the potato, and the poor innocent potato was cut in half.

"Didn't I tell you? I remember that night..." It had been so long that Xia couldn't remember what happened when she came back from the principal's office. She vaguely remembered that she shared this experience with two boys. Who were they?

The owner of the invisibility cloak must have it, so why was James in the common room so late?

Night walk? Not likely, after all, Ender wasn't with him. If Remus wasn't there, it could be explained as the days of the full moon, so it didn't seem like a night walk.

Then the only option is to be put in solitary confinement.

"James and Sirius must have not told you." Xia said firmly. She whispered in front of Ander like a devil, "It seems that your good brother is hiding a secret from you."

"The premise is that my sister kept it from me first." Ander almost fell for Xia's trick, but fortunately he realized it in time and refuted it.

"Hey hey hey~, let me think about what Professor Dumbledore and I talked about?"
