Anakin Skywalker's latest mission is unique.

The reason is simple. In the Battle of Malastare, Anakin and Mace Windu led the clone army to fight against the Separatist army.

On the battlefield in front of the palace, a very large sinkhole was formed due to the bomb, and while they were inspecting the site to retrieve survivors, they ended up discovering and awakening something long thought to be extinct: the Slo Monster.

A giant snake-like creature with a long whip-like tail, 97 meters tall. Its scales are so hard and thick that neither blasters nor lightsabers can penetrate it.

This giant creature became extinct 21 years before the Battle of Yavin. However, at this moment, one survived and began to attack indiscriminately after being unearthed.

They reported this to Coruscant.

Dr. Sinfer Bol proposed to study this creature, because their weapons could not penetrate the scales of the Slo Monster. This would be beneficial to the research, and Supreme Chancellor Palpatine also believed that if the skin of the Slo Monster could be successfully used to make armor and warship armor for use in war, it would greatly reduce the damage to the Republic in the war.

After some planning, the Republic decided to stun the Slo Monster. When the Slo Monster was finally defeated, both Mace and Anakin learned that the Slo would need to be brought back to Coruscant for research.

This put Windu and Anakin in a difficult position, because it took a lot of effort to stun the Slo Monster, and now they were asked to bring this huge creature to Coruscant?

But at this time, he had just returned and successfully brought the Slo Monster back to Coruscant.

Accompanied by R2, he walked through the Senate building. He saw his master Kenobi and some others in front. Anakin walked forward, looked at his wife Padme in the crowd, smiled slightly, and said, "Senator, I thought it was just Obi-Wan looking for me. I didn't expect you to be here too."

Padmé said, "I came to ask for your help."

"What's the problem?" Anakin grunted.

"Regarding the situation of our friends from Malastare," Obi-Wan said.

"Well." Anakin quickly understood why Obi-Wan and his wife Padme had come to see him, and said, "I understand what you mean. You want me to talk to the Chancellor about this, right?"

Padmé said, "Skywalker, the Slo Monster has been brought here and bound against its will. No one is here to speak for it, and we must be that voice."

Anakin just laughed dryly, "You don't know the enormity of it yet. You don't know what it can do."

"what are you guys saying?"

The group turned around to see Quicksilver walking towards them, accompanied by Senator Rio Chuchi.

"Pietro?" Anakin asked in surprise. "What are you doing here?"

"Just spending some time with Rio," Quicksilver said simply, motioning quietly to Rio Trouble, who was now blushing under the scrutiny of her mentor and friend Padmé.

"What's wrong?" Quicksilver asked, "You look serious. Are you talking about politics?"

Anakin said dryly, "We are in the Senate building, Pietro. Everything under this roof is political."

"That's right." Quicksilver agreed with a shrug.

"But what's going on? I overheard that you were going to meet the Speaker. Is there something wrong?" Chu Qi asked.

"It concerns something Anakin and Master Windu brought back from their mission on Malastare," Obi-Wan replied, "an ancient creature, possibly the last of their kind."

"A creature that might be the last of its kind?" Chucky muttered curiously.

"Not only that, it was brought here by force."

"The sloat may face death if we do not get Chancellor Palpatine to reconsider his actions in killing this sloat and taking its hide," Padmé said firmly.

"Slomon?" Quicksilver muttered, "What, looks like Godzilla?"

"Godzilla?"

"Nothing, nothing, Godzilla belongs to Earth." Quicksilver waved his hand and looked at Padme and asked, "What do you mean?"

"We must convince the Chancellor to release the Sloat," Padmé said, then she looked at Anakin. "Please, Skywalker."

Anakin glanced at his wife, but after a moment he softened, "I didn't expect you to be so strongly opposed to this. Well, let's go talk to the Chancellor."

Quicksilver saw this and said, "I'm going to go get something to eat. Chucky, do you want to come?"

"You already had a lot of snacks when we were watching the movie just now, and you want to eat more now?"

"Don't you remember? I have a very fast metabolism."

Chu Qi shook his head slightly and said helplessly: "Okay, Pietro."

The two left side by side.

"Well, those two look interesting," Anakin pointed out.

"I think it looks sweet." Padmé added, "I don't see Chucky much anymore, I'm glad she's at least enjoying life now instead of being a working machine."

Before the three of them were ready to leave to meet Palpatine, Padmé was walking ahead and Anakin stopped Obi-Wan, "Obi-Wan, are you okay?"

"what?"

Anakin said with concern, "You seem troubled, is something wrong?"

Obi-Wan didn't answer at first, then frowned slightly, "I...had a less than pleasant conversation with Captain Rogers a while ago."

"What happened?"

Obi-Wan said, "It's hard to explain this right now. Go with Senator Amidala and sort out this Slo Beast thing. We'll talk later."

Anakin now wanted to know what had happened, but when he saw Padmé waiting for him, he let the question go.

After a while, Padmé and Anakin arrived at Palpatine's office. The Supreme Chancellor was as amiable as always. As he often said, the two people he liked to see most on Coruscant were Padmé and Anakin.

Padmé got right to the point and said that the Slo Beast should be released rather than executed. Under no circumstances should the Republic be the one to cause the extinction of a species.

Although Chancellor Palpatine agreed with the Naboo Senator, he still insisted, telling her that a raging war would only claim more lives. His duty was to the people of the galaxy, so he needed to find a way to end the war as soon as possible. The opportunity to make a difference in the war by crafting an indestructible armor out of the sloe hide was too good to pass up.

Anakin tried to remain neutral in this regard. While he sided with his wife, Palpatine made some very telling comments. Anakin had always hated seeing so many of his men die in battle, and having armor that would essentially ensure their survival couldn't be a bad thing.
