In the hangar, Skywalker was in Bane's cockpit, which he had checked countless times.

"What are you doing?" Quicksilver asked, watching Anakin checking the map in Bane's ship.

"Try to find another way to track Bane's course." Anakin said, typing in a few commands that displayed the various planets Bane had visited. "R2, can you continue to adjust the route?"

"So, there must be another way to track him, right?" Quicksilver said, leaning against the boat, and then getting off after a while. His entire sleeve was covered with black dust.

"What's wrong with this guy?" Quicksilver said, brushing the dust off his arm. "I wonder if that guy has cleaned his boat. There's soot everywhere."

Hearing this detail, Anakin seemed to have thought of something and said excitedly: "R2."

The robot beeped in confirmation.

Quicksilver asked curiously, "What did you find?"

"When you mentioned the ash just now, I seemed to think of something, but I couldn't grasp it. Bane has been to so many places, he must have replenished fuel, fuel..."

"What do you mean?"

"Bane may have wiped all his route data, but on the other hand, his fuel routes--" A new planet appeared between Rodia and Naboo.

"what is that?"

"Mustafa."

"Mufasa?"

"Mustafar," Anakin corrected. "It's a planet far from the Mid-Rim. It's a very remote mining world."

"so what?"

"There's a lot of molten ash, lava, and volcanoes. Ash, Bane must have been to Mustafar, and the child must be on this planet."

Anakin jumped out of the cockpit and walked towards the Dusk, "At this point, Mustafar is the most likely place to hide those two children."

"Do you think we'll find the child there?" asked Quicksilver.

“It depends on whether we can get there as soon as possible.”

……

Plo Koon and Mace Windu, accompanied by Commanders Ponzi and Wolfe, sat around the captured bounty hunter to ensure he did not attempt to escape.

The coordinates given to them by the Duro bounty hunters led them to a secluded asteroid belt, where they eventually found a safe house hidden in plain sight. Larger ships could not pass through, so Plo Quon and Mace Windu had to take a small transport to gain access.

"We've come a long way, Bane," Plo said calmly, attaching their transport to the station's hull. "We're in neutral space, if I remember correctly."

"In case this part of your memory is messed up, have you forgotten the war going on in the galaxy?" Bane asked rhetorically. "The bounty hunting business is booming, but keeping yourself in the midst of all this madness is still a problem. Now, do you want your holotragon back?"

Mace and Plo looked at each other before turning and nodding to their clone commander, just in case.

Once the connection was properly secured, the door opened, and Bane was forced to walk ahead of the two Jedi Masters to prevent the bounty hunters from leading them into a trap.

“I don’t sense any kids around here,” Plough pointed out.

"Why would I leave them here?" Bane asked deadpan. "Does this place look like a daycare?"

Mace simply gave the bounty hunter a glare.

"Anyway..." Bane nodded and motioned for the two Jedi to look over, "This is your precious holographic dragon."

In the darkness, the two Jedi Masters saw a blue light in the far corner of the room.

"I'll get it for you."

"No need." Plo grabbed his shoulder and held out his other hand. The holographic dragon trembled slightly, and then it fell into Plo's hand.

Suddenly, an alarm sounded in the room, a shrill sound accompanied by flashing lights.

"What's wrong--?"

"what have you done?"

"Touch the sensor, Jedi," Bane said, peering into the open compartments.

It wasn't long before several turrets came out, aiming directly at the Jedi.

"And I'm the only one immune to my defenses."

Both men ignited their lightsabers and stared at the turret warily.

Bane walked to a nearby wall and pressed a series of keys. As the keys were pressed, a door opened.

"Goodbye, Jedi," Bane taunted, and closed the door.

"No, you can't escape! Bounty Hunter." Mace Windu said, rushing forward.

Plough also began to chase.

Suddenly, another bounty hunter fired several blaster bolts at the Jedi, blocking both of them.

"you are too slow."

"Come on, it's you who didn't wait for me, Ola," Bane said.

The two then prepared to escape.

"Anya Qrow will be very disappointed in you, Aura," Puro called out to her, causing the former Jedi Padawan to pause.

"How dare you mention her name in front of me!" Ola fired several bullets angrily and roared, "She abandoned me! Have you committee members forgotten?"

"We don't have time for this." Bane slammed the emergency button and the escape pod ejected from the safe house.

The two Jedi could only watch as Bane escaped once again.

"We got the holosaur." Plo held up the cube, "But... we still feel like we failed."

"I'm afraid this will become commonplace in this war," Mace said grimly.

With the mission successfully completed, the two Jedi Council members left Bane's safe house.
