Natasha Romanoff stared at the baby at her lap, who stared at the Avenger with curious eyes.

“You know, if you keep looking at her like that, you might burn her.

War Machine is a lot of fun to watch as the two of them, especially as Black Widow is put in a situation that is clearly foreign to her.

The Black Widow only hummed in response, her lips curling upwards as the baby girl reached out with both hands to grasp at her hair.

"It's not for fun." Black Widow deadpanned as she gently held Mara Jade's hand, and the baby instinctively grabbed her hand and laughed happily.

“If that’s not cute, I don’t know what is,” Falcon said with a laugh.

"You seem like a natural, Natasha," Cap commented.

The Black Widow wanted to refuse in some way, but couldn't, as Mara's laughter made her smile too, bouncing the babe a little on her lap.

"So, we're gonna be babysitting these little ones now?" Ant-Man said, staring at the little green babies from Yoda's origin species, staring at the Avengers with wide eyes and curiosity.

"They say they're Force-sensitive," Quicksilver said, crouching down next to Baby Yoda and gently lifting him up.

"Pietro, that's not how you hold a child," the Wasp said, frowning.

"How did you know?" asked Quicksilver.

“Call it woman’s intuition,” the Wasp said dryly. “Scott talked about this when his daughter was a baby.

Quicksilver looked at her, then at Ant-Man, then at the baby in his arms, she stared at him blankly.

"So what's the right way to do it?"

"Give him to me." Ant-Man motioned him over. Quicksilver carefully approached Ant-Man and placed the baby in his hands, Ant-Man felt a familiar feeling as he made sure to hold the child correctly.

"Like that, just like that," Ant-Man said, pointing to the arm that supported Baby Yoda's entire body. "Nice and comfortable for the little guy."

"This is weird," Spider-Man said, staring at the baby.

Daredevil said “I was supposed to file forms for my next court case. And now, here I am.

“We all do,” Cap said, sighing loudly. “And we still miss Wanda and Vision, and this prince you both mentioned.”

"T'Challa, yes," Spider-Man said, letting go of his webs and standing up. "He was with us when we appeared in this galaxy.

"Meaning he's out there somewhere, just like Madam Maximoff and Vision," Daredevil said.

“We’ve been very lucky so far,” Falcon said. “Every one of us has either found our way back to the team.”

“So… what?” War Machine said. “We just keep hoping we get lucky? I’d rather not leave that to chance.”

"Especially what you four told us." Black Widow said, looking at the three New Yorkers. "It's possible that other enemies have come to this system.

"It may also lead to more people coming in." Quicksilver said in a serious tone.

"Hmm~" Ant-Man sighed. "That doesn't exactly fill me with confidence."

Falcon said. "So, what's our goal in the game? We've been helping the Jedi and the Republic for the past few weeks. They've offered us a place to stay, but to be honest, I'm not really keen on staying here much longer."

"Agreed." Quicksilver said, playing with the little Yoda in his arms for a while. "I'm fine, I can stay in the Jedi Temple, but one day I want to return to my own planet."

"Where are the kids?" Spider-Man asked, now walking up to Black Widow with Mara Jade, who looked up at Spider-Man curiously. "Can we take them? Will we be allowed?"

"Except for Scott and Hope, the others probably have no experience in taking care of children," Falcon admitted.

"what does that mean?"

"Dude, you're the dad."

"No, it's not." Ant-Man waved his hand. "Another one. You mean we can't accept them?

"Have you forgotten? These little guys are Force-sensitive and need to be protected by the Jedi Order," War Machine pointed out.

"Turning them into emotionless machines for the Republic?" Black Widow said, hugging Mara closer.

Some of the Avengers were walking around unhappy, especially Daredevil who was holding his cane tightly.

"From what I've heard, the kids will be drafted into the military soon, and in a few years they'll be able to walk and talk normally," Captain America said.

"What about this little guy?" Quicksilver pointed at Baby Yoda.

"...He is up for discussion," War Machine said flatly.

"Why?" asked the Wasp.

"Obviously, because he's from Yoda's species, they age very differently compared to all of us," War Machine explained.

"Yoda said he was almost 900 years old," Captain America recalled. "And this little guy is only years old."

"So...what? We have to wait a hundred years for him to reach puberty?" Falcon asked rhetorically.

"Captain, don't say anything here, but I'm sure that the only one among us who can survive those hundred years is you," said Ant-Man.

"What does this mean?"

"Your stubbornness will outlive all of us," Black Widow said dryly, causing Cap to snort.

"I think we should give this little guy a name?" Ant-Man asked, holding up Baby Yoda slightly. "It always feels weird to keep calling him 'the child' or 'Baby Yoda'.

Some of the Avengers looked at Baby Yoda, who stared at them with his big, innocent black eyes.

"How's Kevin?" Peter asked.

Black Widow frowned, "Kevin?"

"Why Kevin?" Falcon asked confused.

"I don't know, just speaking my mind." Spider-Man said bluntly.

"We can talk about that later. Maybe give us some time to come up with a proper list; not like 'Kevin' or anything like that," Falcon said.

Spider-Man just pouted and rolled his eyes. "At least I thought of a name."

"Comrades!"

Tap suddenly said something to get their attention, causing Mara Jade to jump, and Mara Jade began to cry, with Black Widow trying to calm her down.

"Keep your voice down," War Machine said, frowning.

"I'm sorry." TAP said seriously. "But I have news for everyone!

"This better be worth it," Black Widow complained. "It took a long time to calm Mara down last time."

Seven rectangular cards pop out from the station.

"Thanks to the timely arrival of Comrade Matthew and Peter, I have finally completed Mr. Stark's secondary project for the new Avengers team!" Tap said happily. "Your Avengers ID cards, my comrades."

Everyone in the Avengers except Ant-Man and Black Widow comes up to get their new ID cards.

"So how exactly do these work?" Cap asked.

"Retrofitted with optimal communications capabilities," Tap boasted proudly. "Difficult to jam, able to connect to any communications channel."

"What's the distance between them?" Ant-Man asked. "Since there were no satellites to work originally, what's the coverage area?"

"With the network processing required within this system," Tap said. "I had to utilize and optimize the Republic's communication systems for use within their controlled space."

"Wait, so we can communicate with each other on different planets?" Quicksilver asked excitedly.

"Maybe we should test them out in the field at some point, just to be sure." War Machine said, and many nodded in agreement.
