501st and 327th Regiments

Anakin raised his wrist communicator, "Aayla, begin landing sequence. Get the troops and tanks on the ground.

As soon as Ana King Kong delivered the order, one of their gunboat's wings was shot off and it immediately began to sail downward.

"Anakin, can you fly?" Aayla's voice came through the communication.

"We're being hit, Ella," Cap managed to shout out.

"Get the troops and tanks onto the ground now," Anakin said.

"Prepare for impact," Captain Rex shouted.

The gunship crashed into the desert plains of Geonosis.

"Is everyone alright?" Cap asked, the Jedi, the clones, and a New Yorker groaning to confirm they were alive and well in pain.

"Come on," Anakin shouted, pushing the door open. "Get up! We'll just be a target for the droids if we stay here.

Lightsabers ignited; Anakin jumped out with Captain America, and the two examined the area while the rest of the gunboat crew picked themselves up from their crashed ship.

A few kilometers ahead they saw their target, the droid factory, with other gunships pulling away from the rest of their forces and tanks dropping in to support them.

"They're coming." Ahsoka walked over to Anakin and pointed to the blurry figure of Aayla Secura in the distance, where Black Widow was fighting Geonosians and droids.

"Shoot the bugs," Five yelled, raising his blaster to the air and firing at a group of incoming Geonosians.

"Wow!" Spider-Man yelled, instinctively raising his hands and quickly firing spider webs to trap several Geonos who were lying on the ground.

"Wow! What a great kid," said the heavyweight approvingly, nudging the young hero.

Cap threw his shield, and the vibranium disk knocked a group of Geonos aside, then returned to his hand in time for him to turn around and knock out a Geonos that got too close to him.

"Where the hell did these bugs come from?!" Echo yelled, firing in all directions, the Geonosians firing their own specialized weapons while some simply walked over to try and catch them.

"There are Geonosian hives all over the planet," Anakin said, cutting open one. "For all we know, we could be standing on top of a nest.

"Then we can't stay here." Rex said, DC-17 pistol in hand, rushing towards the flying insects. "We can easily find these insects."

"Okay, come on, let's go," Ahsoka yelled.

"Alright, guys, we're moving." Anakin said, starting to sprint forward, the rest of the group quickly following behind him. "We're heading to the front lines to reunite with Secura and the rest of our group."

At the front line, Aayla Secura swung her blue lightsaber at the front of an advancing AT-TE tank.

Next to him are Commander Bligh and Team Flash (Cameron, Flash, Lucky, and two other clones).

Most of the tanks managed to reach the landing zone designated as "No Man's Land." This was the plant with the most open, flat terrain and the least means of cover, which meant that putting down the tanks was the most important first step in their attack.

Two attendants were advancing, lightsabers deflecting Republic fire as they advanced.

The droids and Geonos were heading straight for them with the AATs and Spider-Walkers.

"Looks like we're in for a fight," Black Widow commented beside the Twi'lek Jedi, DC-17 blaster pistol in hand as she blasted at the oncoming droids and bug swarms.

"Let's hope we'll still be here when Anakin and Steve arrive. Aayla said, swiping an arrow at the droid that was shooting at her.

So far, nearly twenty tanks have been deployed around them, one of which has been destroyed by a group of missiles from the robot tank.

"Hail tanks!" Commander Bligh yelled. "Focus the projectile guns on those wheelers."

A group of AT-TE gunners began aiming at the rolling Hailstorm tanks, firing repeatedly, taking out the rolling tanks in rapid succession.

"Push forward!" Ella shouted and started running forward, followed by the 327th and 501st Legions.

"Sergeant Appo," Black Widow yelled to a blue clone. "Get those AT-RTs out now!"

"Roger that." Po nodded, reaching for his helmet receiver. "We need walkers now, to get to the front and support the charge."

From the backs of all the standing AT-TEs, multiple platforms open up to reveal three AT-RTs manned by ARF troopers.

The ARF troopers rose to their feet and pointed their walkers at their brothers as they ran forward to engage the droids and Geonos head-on.

They sprinted at full speed, firing at every robot and bug in their sight.

However, just after defeating this wave of robots, it is quickly replaced by another robot battalion that is being deployed from the base, which the 501st and 327th Regiments intend to destroy.

"We can get all the help we can, but if we can't protect that factory and destroy it..." Before Black Widow could finish her sentence, she ducked under several blaster rounds aimed at her.

But her unfinished statement was all that needed to be said by those nearby, causing them to quicken their pace as they came face to face with the next group of droids and Geonosians.

All along...

War Machine flew ahead of Kenobi and Luminara's gunships, finding it more difficult than he had initially expected in terms of Geonosian anti-aircraft fire.

It turned out that it was not for nothing that the designated landing zone for the 212th and 41st Regiments was called "Point Rain." It was a veritable rainstorm, and already six gunboats had been shot down.

"Kenobi, Luminara," War Machine called over the comms as he flew past the explosion in front of the ship. "You need to begin your landing sequence now. The bombardment here is too intense.

"The landing zone isn't much better, Colonel," Obi-Wan said carefully, though he couldn't deny the pilot's words.

"Even so, I agree with Colonel Rhodes," Luminara said. "Commander Gerry, begin-"

"General?" War Machine called out worriedly. "Luminara? Barris?

"Their gunship has been shot down," Obi-Wan said.

"Hope? Hope?" War Machine yelled frantically as he performed a series of aerial rolls around a group of Geonosian defense fighters.

He heard a cough over the comms. "I'm in, Rhodes. Luminara's fine, as are Barriss and some of the clones. Not sure who else survived so far."

"This resistance was beyond our expectations," Kenobi noted.

“And more coordinated than expected,” Cody said, frowning beneath his helmet.

"What does this mean?" Ant-Man asked.

"Droids aren't that smart, even their tactical droids are overrated," Cody explained quickly as the gunship began to land. "Even the Geonosians, their fighting style isn't that smart. Meaning..."

"Others are directing this defensive battle," Kenobi muttered.

As Kenobi and Cody had hypothesized, there was indeed one person who decided the battle.

Either a tactical droid, a very good one at that… or maybe a waiter.

On the ground, two Sith attendants were directing droids and Geonosians to their positions as multiple Hail tanks rolled out.

Sith attendant Chezo Niva stared at several downed gunships in the distance while her dark companion continued to give orders.

She is undoubtedly a unique user of the dark side of the Force among Dooku's attendants. With deep blue skin and blood-red eyes, Severance Tann is undoubtedly a unique individual that Chezzo is paired with in the defense of Geonosis.

Severance Tann are a rare species in intergalactic space.

Chezzo and Tann stood together, watching as multiple AT-TE tanks were deployed in a square formation to create a landing zone for the troops.

And then comes a truly jarring and slightly shocking turn of events.

The AT-TE tank appeared from nowhere, as if sprouting from the ground itself.

"What is that?!" Chezo asked in surprise.

Tann narrowed his eyes.

"If my guess is correct, this is the work of the Republic's newest ally," Tann said.

"Avengers," Chezzo said with a vicious glare.

"Concentrate all firepower and forces on the northwest of the area," Tann ordered a nearby Geonosian.

Behind the established boundaries of the rain, Wasp was helping Luminara to her feet while Barriss dealt with the injured clone troopers as best she could. She had thought a lot before the battle, but she knew there was only so much she could do.

"Commander Gerry, what's the situation at our position?" Luminara asked, panting.

"It's not far away, General." Gerry pointed ahead. "I think we are lucky that we are not far from our target.

"Barriss, are you alright?" Luminara called out to her Padawan, who was busy tending to the injured clones.

"Master, I'm fine."

Master Mirialan turned to the Wasp.

"Then let's go to the perimeter." Luminara said, raising her wrist communicator. "Commander Cody, Master Kenobi, can you hear me?"

"Luminara, are you okay?" Kenobi asked.

"We're fine," Luminara said, her breathing more even. "We've lost half the men from the gunboat, but the rest are raining down on land.

"We'll send some reinforcements to help escort you into the perimeter, General." Cody promised. "We're facing some heavy attacks here.

Suddenly, there was a loud noise from Obi-Wan's end of the communication.

"We're being hit!" Kenobi yelled. "We're going to crash."

"Scott!" the Wasp yelled.

Distantly in the sky, the group sees Obi-Wan and Ant-Man's gunship crash-land on the outskirts of the AT-TE.

"We need to go up there and help now," Barris said, hoisting a clone onto his shoulder.

"Come on, we have to act fast."
