Marvel crosses Star Wars, and everyone attacks the galaxy

Chapter 188 Captain America's Doubts

The Battle of Geonosis is finally over.

As the Republic reestablished its firm control over Geonosis, any remaining Separatist forces were swept away.

The battle was hard fought and many clones sacrificed their lives, but it also inspired the fighting spirit of all those involved and helped them win the battle.

Now, under the leadership of Poggle, the Jedi and the Avengers prepare to leave the planet. However...

"So we didn't find anything or anyone related to this transmission. War Machine said with a slight disappointment. He was talking to Cap, Falcon, and Black Widow, the other Avengers were already on the ship returning to Coruscant after a long journey. Spider-Man was the only one left, and as he talked to Ahsoka and Barriss, the young teenager was not far away.

"I'm sorry, comrades." Tap said through War Machine's armor. "I believed there was a lost comrade on this planet. It seems I was wrong.

"Are you sure, Tap?" Falcon asked. "Maybe we missed something."

"Not sure, Comrade Wilson," Tap admitted. "Perhaps it's a glitch."

Captain America frowned and crossed his arms in thought.

"A minor glitch?" Captain America thought to himself. "That robot..."

"Steve?"

Cap blinked and looked up to see the others staring at him, Black Widow with a hand on his arm.

"Are you okay?" Black Widow asked with a little concern.

"You look like something's wrong," Falcon pointed out.

Cap opened his mouth, then his expression turned confused.

"What can I do?" Captain America asked with a puzzled look on his face.

"Honestly, Captain, what are you thinking about?" Falcon asked after a moment.

Captain America sighed and hung his head for a while, replaying those horrifying words in his mind over and over again.

Cap muttered, "There... is a droid I met here, on the planet Geonosis. It's just like all the other droids we've fought."

"I feel it, here," War Machine said cautiously.

"But...what did it say...how did it say it..." Captain America clenched his fists, "It doesn't look right."

Black Widow frowned, first looking at Falcon, then looking at War Machine.

"What did the robot say?" Falcon asked.

Captain America hesitated for a moment. "One sentence."

"One sentence?" Falcon repeated. He looked at War Machine and Black Widow, both of whom looked a little uneasy.

"There are no restrictions on me." Captain America finished the sentence. "Does it remind you of anyone?"

"Did not you say......"

"Ultron." Captain America said with a little anger.

"But we took him out," War Machine said fiercely. "In Sokovia. Vision can confirm that. We got all his bodies.

"Steve." Black Widow said worriedly. "Are you sure you heard something?"

"I don't know," Cap admitted, but he was still clearly unsure.

Before they could discuss the matter further, a Republic shuttle landed near them, and several clone troopers pushed the young Poggle, who had just been captured, towards it.

On landing, the gangway was extended downward and Bogle was pushed into the boat.

Mundi approached Bogle, who was being escorted aboard by two soldiers, and walked down the gangway with an uneasy look on his face. "It looks like we have a complication."

"Isn't that what we always do?" Skywalker said.

"I have just received a distress signal from our forces on Tatooine. Master Windu's defenses have held, but his men have paid a heavy price," said Jedi Master Selian. "They are in desperate need of medical supplies. We can obtain these at the Odyssey Medical Station."

“But we’re transporting the Poggle to Coruscant, and the Odysseus is not on the route.

"The Republic must begin interrogating Bogle immediately if we are to gain any useful intelligence from him," Luminara said firmly.

Anakin thought for a moment, trying to think of something that could be done. His eyes briefly glanced at the teenager between them. An idea formed, and Skywalker walked over and put his arm around the three of them. "Guys, I suggest we let Peter, Barris, and Ahsoka handle the supply mission."

"Are you sure you want them to go?"

“Why not? I think they’ll do a great job.

The three boys looked at each other and then gave their answers.

"Whatever needs to be done, Master. I'm happy to help. Ahsoka made the sound.

"Me too," Barris said simply.

"Uh~, me too." said Spider-Man.

Seeing the teenagers accept to take part in this sudden mission, Obi-Wan looked at the older members of the Avengers present, and they seemed to have accepted Spider-Man's mission.

"Very good. Now prepare to depart aboard the medical frigate. After we deliver the Poggle to Coruscant, we will reunite with you and sail to Tatooine.
