Marvel crosses Star Wars, and everyone attacks the galaxy

As Padawan and Spider-Man begin to deal with their latest emergency, the old Jedi and the Avengers are unaware of the trouble they are now facing.

"No news on Peter and the girls yet?" Captain America asked.

"No." Luminara frowned. "They should have arrived by now."

"That's not like a Padawan or young Mr. Parker, they wouldn't miss a briefing." Obi-Wan pointed out, rubbing his beard in thought.

"Do you think something's wrong?" Falcon asked.

"Not sure," Luminara said.

"For all we know, they might be in trouble," Anakin said bluntly.

"Anakin, have faith in your Padawan." Kenobi said firmly. "After all, she is not alone. She has your teachings. You know she is very much like you.

"Reckless, crazy, and annoying?" War Machine said knowingly.

Anakin's brow twitched, but he felt Captain America tap his shoulder.

"Don't worry, Anakin, if anything happens, we'll know right away." Cap said. "Rex, keep us up. Any transmissions from the kids, you're to tell us right away.

"Yes, sir," Rex promised Anakin, giving Captain America an appreciative look.

Walking through one of the corridors on the ship, some security shields suddenly activated.

"Someone doesn't want us to go up there," Ahsoka said bluntly.

Barris and Spider-Man ducked down and tried to get around the security shield. Before either could even take a step, their senses quickly alerted them to the danger. Spider-Man was the first to react, pushing Barris aside to avoid the blaster fire. Ahsoka looked back and witnessed the trap firing at them. Using the Force push, Skywalker's Padawan sent the clone flying several meters away. The clone landed hard and quickly rushed forward, hoping to deal with the Spider-Man closest to him.

That’s when the teens saw something… disturbing.

"Ah~" Spider-Man yelled, and the clone soldier rolled his eyes and spit out a yellow worm from his mouth. "Whoa, whoa, don't put it in."

Reacting quickly, Spider-Man's hand shot up and caught the bug. The ear-piercing scream made them all flinch at the sound.

The New York native gritted his teeth and ripped the worm out of the clone's mouth. Lieutenant Trapp convulsed uncontrollably for a moment before hunching over and falling to the ground, motionless.

Ahsoka and Barris were at the trap, and Spider-Man was pulling the brainworm as far away from his face as possible.

The Mirialan Jedi patted the Trooper and checked his pulse, feeling relieved that it was still beating.

She looked up at Spider-Man and saw that he was holding the Brainworm in his hand.

Barris narrowed her eyes, summoned her lightsaber, and quickly cut the bug in half. Spider-Man jumped from such a quick movement and dropped the dead bug to the ground.

"What just happened?" Ahsoka asked loudly. "What was that?"

Barris knelt down to investigate the worm, which was now broken into two pieces. She picked it up carefully and took a moment to examine it.

Spider-Man grimaced. "That's some body snatcher invasion stuff."

"My master Luminara spoke of the Queen of Geonos. The one who kidnapped her had a way of controlling dead Geonosians and perhaps other creatures, including a worm called the Brainworm.

Spider-Man's face turned pale

"Oh God... Oh God... Oh God. Oh it's the body snatchers! I didn't know body snatchers happened in real life! This is a horrible nightmare! And it's on the alien-"

Suddenly, Ahsoka slapped him on the head, stopping him from escalating his insane fear-induced ramblings.

"Thank you."

"Any time." Ahsoka looked back at the dead parasite on the ground. "That would explain why those clones would attack us for no reason, and why Trapp suddenly acted like this a while ago.

"The question is, how did these things get on the ship in the first place?"

Barris stated her theory. "Some soldiers must have been infected before boarding the ship.

"We have to quarantine this ship."

"We should also contact Master Festo and others to let them know the situation."

With their mission complete, the trio made their way through the corridors, looking for a way to contact anyone outside the ship. As they approached the hangar, they heard a very strange sound.

"Doesn't this remind you girls of something?" Spider-Man asked, slowly walking towards the source.

"Peter, please. Not now. Ahsoka twisted her body and shook her head.

"Not the scene, I'm talking about the general sound."

Both girls paused for a moment, not sure what he was referring to.

"Wait..." Barris tilted his head.

There was an unusual series of clicking and grunting noises coming from a nearby room.

"That voice is..."

Ahsoka recognized it now. More specifically, what language it was.

"Gionos."

The teens peered into the room and saw the clones surrounding another clone, who was struggling to break free from the control of his possessed brothers. One of them held up what appeared to be an egg... and an all too familiar parasite wriggled out of it.

"We have to help him," Ahsoka whispered.

Barris simply shook his head, and the brain-eating demon worm shot out, quickly inserting into the clone's head through the nostril. "It's too late."

Spider-Man just nodded, looking pale. "Okay, so it turns out that the aliens met the body snatchers."

Ahsoka grimaced. "I hate that you're right."

"We have to do something." Spider-Man said as much because he really didn't want to fall into a horror movie cliché. His tingling senses snapped and he fired a web out of pure instinct. It hit one of the possessed clones as the blaster missed its intended target. He tried to fire again but was punched in the face, rendering him unconscious.

This did not go unnoticed by the possessed clones in the other room, all heads spun to search for the three teens. At the same moment they screamed something akin to Geonosian, a high-pitched wail.

"Yeah, definitely a body snatcher."

"Not yet," Ahsoka said, deflecting blasters away from the possessed clones. She saw one of them pull out two more eggs, and the Jedi immediately pulled them apart with force, cutting them open.

The clones' angry screams increased their firing rate.

Ahsoka shoved one clone away with force, and Barriss disarmed another, only to shove him away again a moment later.

Spider-Man webbed a clone to the wall, and the three now hid behind a box for cover.
