Satine walked side by side with Kenobi, her guards following close behind, and Matt standing between them from behind.

"It's good to see you again, Obi-Wan." Sardin said seriously. "Despite all the circumstances, I'm glad to see that you're doing well.

"Your peaceful ways have paid off," Kenobi said with a small smile. "Mandalore has prospered since I was last here."

The Jedi actually saw the opportunity and the difference. His mind briefly flashed a picture of a war-torn world, destruction everywhere. People on both sides were fighting each other, trying to get out alive.

“Not everyone on Mandalore sees our commitment to peace as a sign of progress,” the Duchess said.

"That's not usually the case," Matt commented. "Who usually doesn't like the way you help people?"

With a tired look, Satine answered. "We know of two groups. Some call themselves the Death Watch. I think these are the traitors you're looking for, with such a name.

"What about the other?" Kenobi asked.

“They call themselves protectors,” Sardin said. “They are… not necessarily aggressive toward our people.

"Now who is to say what names you gave us of these groups. Our saboteur could be from any of them. Considering how they call themselves, one could be biased to think this guy is from Deathwatch. Or could be one of these Protectors. It's possible that their title is a false sign, or someone in their group is behaving irrationally.

Sardin just shook his head. "Mr. Murdock, this is not the case with this one. We have met with the Protectors, and they follow the Super Commando Codex written by the previous Mandalore, Jaster Merrell. They follow a stricter code, adhering to the old ways of Mandalore. We met with them and tried to change their ways, but they refused before sending us back."

The Death Watch, on the other hand, worships the violence and warrior ways of the past. It would be easy for Mandalorians like the Indomitable and the Ultimate to become their heroes, waging devastating wars on the galaxy just to show off the power of the Mandalorians.

"Is there anything we can do about them?" Matt asked.

“There are some of us, certain officials, working hard to root out these criminals. It is an ongoing investigation,” Sartin replied.

Obi-Wan quickly assumed a thinking pose, stroking his beard as he took this information in. "How widespread is the Death Watch movement?"

“This is... barely a movement. This is a small group of hooligans who chose to vandalize public places, that’s all.

"Where is the Protector?" Murdoch asked.

Satine sighed. “That… might be a bigger problem than I realize. From what Almec told me, they are more organized and have a Mandalorian they follow, whom they call the Resurrector.

"And what about the Death Watch investigation?"

"Hopefully we'll have them in custody soon. We've tracked them to our satellite Concordia.

"I hope you are right, Duchess," Kenobi said softly.

Matt opened his mouth to ask further questions when he heard footsteps on the sidewalk beside him. He had heard footsteps several times now, and they were accompanied by a scent.

At first, he took the man as just another passerby, judging by the way the man walked and their past pattern of avoiding sight…

"Who are you?" Matt asked himself internally as he focused on his goal.

"Seeing" Obi-Wan and Sadine so engrossed, Matt decided to back off a bit so they wouldn't notice him leaving. After hearing their conversation go into other details, like how they were catching up on old times, Matt realized he could now do his own thing.

He slipped away quietly, undetected, waiting for the guards following them to look away while making sure at least one of them knew why he needed to leave. Matt gave a vague excuse, saying he would catch up and hoped to rest for a while until they were completely out of sight and hearing.

Matt, suitcase in hand, began walking towards a less populated area, where he then began to quickly climb up a nearby building towards the man who was following them.

He was walking behind her now, yes, this person was her, he was closer to her now, Obi-Wan and the Duchess were not far away on the opposite side. The woman was wearing similar clothing to the civilians of the city, but with a hood covering her face and a large bun on her back.

Approaching, Matt used his training to be as cautious as possible.

After a while, he was next to the mysterious woman.

"So..." Matt began, causing the woman to suddenly sway. "This may seem sudden, but may I have the pleasure of knowing your name?"

She faced the man with wide eyes, seeming to recognize him. She glanced back briefly at Satine and Kenobi, then back at him. Wasn't he with the attendant who had followed the Duchess?

How on earth did he suddenly appear beside her?

"It's okay. I'm not here to hurt you." Matt said calmly, walking beside him with his cane in hand. "I just want to know why you were following us."

"Excuse me?"

"Oh, am I being too hostile?" Matt said innocently. "I apologize. This is a new planet I've never been to, and I'm just starting to meet the locals.

"Who are you?" the woman asked, with a hint of sharpness in her tone.

"Matt Murdock. Lawyer, representing neutral parties here for the sake of galactic peace." Matt said. "Who are you?"

She was at an impasse when suddenly a huge explosion caught the attention of everyone in the area.

In an instant the furtive man suddenly lunged forward, toward the commotion, leaving her standing alone again. She wanted to slip away, but her eyes remained fixed on the smoke rising from where the explosion had just occurred.

Her heart and mind were filled with conflicting emotions as she wanted to go there and see if she was still alive...

But she knows what she signed up for when she disagreed with the new Mandalorian’s pacifist ways. Bo-Katan knows too much. Now, she needs to leave.

In the events leading up to the explosion…

"A guard belongs on the front lines of conflict. Otherwise, he won't be able to do his job. Obi-Wan said as he continued walking with Sadine. He glanced back and saw that Matt was gone, but he figured it was for a good reason.

“The job of a peacekeeper is to make sure there is no conflict.

"Yes, a lofty description, not a realistic one," Kenobi countered.

"Is reality the reason why the Jedi Knights abandon their ideals? Or is it just a response to political convenience? Satine asked challengingly.

Kenobi was about to respond when an explosion occurred not far from them, shaking them both and causing many of the citizens to yell in fear.

"Are you all right?" Obi-Wan asked, placing a hand on her shoulder.

"I am fine."
