Above the Rishi base, Grievous witnessed the entire process from the figure flying out of the base to the explosion of the base a few seconds later, which made him extremely angry.

"What happened?! Who blew up the base?!" Grievous shouted.

"But isn't it a good thing that the base is destroyed?" a robot asked doubtfully.

Grievous angrily called out "idiot" and immediately ordered the fleet to leave Rishi immediately.

Suddenly, an entire Republic fleet appeared before his fleet, outnumbering and outgunning his fleet.

"Republic Fleet," Grievous said angrily, "Our plan has failed! Get out of here now."

Echo and several other clones witnessed the entire Separatist fleet's hasty escape from Rishi.

"The Separatists are on the run," Echo said cheerfully.

"Thanks to you five," Cody praised.

"Especially you, Colonel Rhodes. We will take you back to your comrades." Rex said directly to War Machine.

"Thank you very much, Captain Rex," War Machine said sincerely.

"Look!" The funny guy pointed above his head.

"Gunship," Rex said lightly.

The armed helicopters detached from the spacecraft, slowly landed, and then clone soldiers opened the hatches for them.

"Come on, guys, it's time to get out of here." Rex motioned for them to board the plane.

Afterwards, War Machine was taken to a huge battleship he had never seen before in a helicopter attack. As an air force officer, this made his blood boil.

He's in outer freaking space! He's a real Air Force.

This was crazy to War Machine. Although he had often flown at low altitudes before, he never thought that he would reach outer space one day.

War Machine calmed down and began to recall what had just happened. Obviously, Rex and Cody knew about the Avengers and had met his three comrades. As for whether they were friends or enemies, it was still difficult to tell, but they had no choice because they were the only ones who knew the news about Captain America, Falcon and Ant-Man.

As soon as the helicopter landed on the deck of the warship, a middle-aged man with a big beard and a young man came over. The middle-aged man said, "Cody, I didn't expect that the task of checking Richie would suddenly become complicated."

"It's just a routine operation for us because we are soldiers, General Kenobi." Cody saluted.

"Who blew up the base?" Anakin Skywalker asked.

"All of us, sir," Captain Rex said, pointing at himself, the Rookie Squad, and War Machine.

"Who is this?" Kenobi asked.

War Machine's helmet flipped back, revealing his face.

"You look familiar." Skywalker said, narrowing his eyes at War Machine.

Rex spoke up, "Sir, this is Colonel James Rhodes, also known as War Machine."

Kenobi suddenly realized, "The Avengers. Yes, you look familiar. Your captain showed me a picture of you guys."

"They briefed us on your situation, and it looks like we'll learn a lot more about all of you," Anakin said.

War Machine asked confusedly, "What do you mean?"

"In less than a few days, you, the Avengers, took the initiative to join this war and help the people of the Republic and our soldiers." Obi-Wan said in a grateful tone.

"Don't tell the generals what they say, Colonel. Because of you, our team was able to survive in Rishi." Hervey said seriously.

"We can send you back to Coruscant to meet your teammates first. This is what we should do. Because of your help, we can arrive in Rishi in time to resist Grievous and his fleet." Anakin said.

"Honestly, a lot of things are beyond my understanding. What I need to confirm now is that you can help me find my teammates." War Machine said frankly.

"Of course," Anakin said with a smile, finding War Machine's genuine sincerity endearing.

Before leaving, they held a small ceremony for Five, Echo, Heavy, and Stooge, as Rex decided to reward them for their bravery and reassign them to the 501st.

Anakin and Obi-Wan were also present, affirming their bravery and stating that he would gladly fight alongside them on any battlefield.

When the two Jedi left, one clone couldn't help but speak out what had been bothering him.

"With all due respect, sir, we really do not deserve this honor as we failed to complete the mission of defending the base and lost many brothers," Echo said seriously.

“But you took the initiative and were ready to fight,” Cody said.

"Even with the help of Colonel Rhodes, the four of you still held the base and showed me that you are the kind of soldiers I need." Rex said proudly. "Domino Bone Squad, welcome to the 501st Legion. From this moment on, you are no longer rookies."

Everyone in the team stood straight, with their heads held high and their chests puffed out, and saluted Rex and Cody in a standard manner.

"Yes, sir!"

……

"Why did Anakin and Obi-Wan call us here?" Ant-Man asked his two companions.

At this time, Captain America, Falcon, and Ant-Man were standing at the entrance of the Jedi Temple, with Yoda and Windu also present.

"They said they wanted to give us a surprise," Falcon said.

Yoda nodded.

The falcon, who had been looking up at the sky, opened his eyes wide and noticed something flying towards them.

"Captain!" Falcon shouted loudly, waving excitedly at the familiar figure flying towards him.

Captain America and Ant-Man both looked up, and their reactions were the same as Falcon's. They were completely caught off guard by this sudden surprise.

War Machine James Rhodes landed in front of them in style, then opened his helmet and walked towards his friend.

"It's great to see you guys, man." War Machine said with a happy smile.

He high-fived Captain America, Falcon, and Ant-Man, and then hugged each other tightly.

Anakin and Obi-Wan also jumped out of the gunship and walked up to them with a smile.

Captain America nodded gratefully to the two men, then asked, "How did you find him?"

"It was really a complete accident, just like how you found Mr. Scott," Kenobi said.

Everyone looked at War Machine, only to see him staring at Mace Windu in confusion. This was completely expected by Captain America and the other three. They believed that other people would have the same reaction as they did when they saw Windu in the near future. After all, Windu really looked too much like Nick Fury.

"Rhodes," Falcon looked at War Machine and said seriously, "We are going to fight side by side again, my comrade."

The four of them looked at each other and smiled.
