...

With a thud, the young hero opened one eye and raised his head.

Is that a sound?

What is that sound?

"Peter.

The Queens hero took a sharp breath and suddenly found himself in a completely different environment.

One that was very familiar to him.

“Here we are.

Peter looked back and saw that it was his Uncle Ben sitting in the driver's seat of the car.

How on earth did he get here?

He didn't know if this was an illusion or just the extreme stress he was going through; but he was going through it now.

"Okay, thanks Uncle Ben." Peter found the words coming out of his mouth as he was about to get out of the car.

"Wait a minute, Peter," Ben said patiently. "We need to talk for a minute."

"Can't we talk about it later?" Peter pleaded a little.

"Okay, we need to talk now," Ben said, turning off the car radio.

The boy sighed. "Why are we talking about this now?"

"Your aunt and I are starting to get worried about you since we haven't spoken in a while." Uncle Ben pointed out. "We hardly recognize you now. You've been skipping your chores for weeks now, you've been locking yourself in your room regularly, and now I hear you're getting in fights at school."

"Hey, I didn't start that fight; you know that." Peter interrupted him with a frown.

“But you did.”

"What should I do? Run away?

His uncle shook his head slightly.

"No, no. You shouldn't have run away, but...Peter, look. Ben said, staring at his nephew. "You're changing, I understand, I went through the exact same thing you're going through now.

"No, not really," said Peter contemptuously.

"Peter." Ben placed a hand on the boy's shoulder. "I may not know or understand or even relate to what you yourself are going through. But what I do know is that in these years, a boy becomes the man he will become for the rest of his life. Just know who you are at all times."

"Are you afraid I'm going to turn into some kind of thug or criminal?" Peter asked defensively. His uncle just shook his head.

"Don't worry about me anymore. I'll figure it out.

"You're just worried about what your friends will think of you?"

"No, it's... not like that, Uncle Ben. Peter said frustratedly.

His uncle sighed softly.

"Peter... I know you'll endure a lot," Ben said. "You're so smart, I think you'll go through more than others. But you need to prevent yourself from straying down a path that might take you to a destination you don't like."

Seeing his nephew's frustrated confusion, Ben said something he once heard his father tell him and Peter's late father.

"Remember Peter, with great power comes great responsibility." His nephew looked up at his uncle and from behind, a white light began to glow and enveloped the two.

“Remember this.

In the end, things went from fantasy to reality.

His eyelids fluttered.

How long has he been unconscious?

It didn't take long for Spider-Man to refocus on his surroundings.

More importantly, what is he here for now.

Peter's head tilted back, looking at his discarded mask as he stared at the serum that was only centimeters away from him.

Although he was just staring at it, he subconsciously felt his fingers brushing against half of his face. It was as if half of his mask was there.

He then glanced back at the serum and thought of Ahsoka, Barriss, Natasha, Captain Rex, and the other clones waiting for their return.

He is now the only one with the antidote within reach that can heal them all.

But he did not try his best to complete the task.

As he laid his eyes on the vial, he heard the words again in the back of his head.

"With great power..."

"It's a big responsibility," Peter said to himself, breathing loudly and starting to tense up. "I remember Uncle Ben, I remember."

He placed his hands on the metal of his body and began to push even though his body immediately screamed in protest.

But he did not relent, only continued to increase his already great strength.

"Come on, Peter," he shouted. "Come on, Peter. Go Spider-Man! Go Spider-Man!

Peter began to scream at this point as he felt every fiber of his being snap from his strength, but he held on as the rubble began to shake and crumble above him.

Spider-Man was roaring loudly now, and he did his best to lift the debris off of him, yelling as he went, with groans everywhere around him.

Finally, with the last of his strength he pushed it away from him, stumbling to grab the vial and his mask without hesitation.

With shaking limbs he crawled out of the hole he was in and saw three stunned faces.

"I-I, I see," Peter said with a weak but victorious smile, holding up the vial of the Blue Shadow virus cure.

The three were still quite shocked, and Obi-Wan was the first to come to his senses.

"Peter, what—"

"There's no time now." Peter groaned. "We have to hurry... get back..."

Peter found himself falling forward and Anakin immediately caught him.

"I see."

Peter didn't respond because he was unconscious.

"You know how he did it?" Anakin said, looking at a still stunned super soldier.

Steve just shook his head, a small smile on his face.

"This is truly surprising." Obi-Wan said as he moved over to help his former Padawan. "Come on, let's not waste our chance. We have to hurry."

"it is good."
