Mantis was now sitting with Groot, who was already bored and was now just sitting in her room playing his game quietly.

The wide-eyed girl was sitting on the floor in front of the bed with a small round plate.

After a moment, the holographic transmission was activated, and standing before her was the Mandalorian warrior Finn Heesa.

"Hi, Finn," Mantis said happily, a huge smile on her face as she bounced up and down on the bed.

The Mandalorian gave her a smile in response. "Hey, Mantis. How are you?

"I'm fine," Mantis said, humming to himself. "I wondered how you were. Did you hear what happened?

Finn hummed. “Did you hear that? I’ve been there.

Mantis's expression dropped slightly. "Oh, no. What happened?

“Aldor was attacked,” Shisa revealed. “Mandalorians heard that the planet was suddenly attacked by a small fleet belonging to the Republic and the Separatists, and we rushed there to drive them off. It turns out that we weren’t the only ones attacked. Concordia and several other planets were also attacked. One of them had a Death Watch on it, and the rest had several of our camps.”

"That sounds terrible. Are you okay?" Mantis asked with obvious concern.

“I’ll survive.” Finn waved his hand. “What about you? Did you run into any of these weird robot assholes?”

"We encountered it in the previous mission. During the attack, the client was strictly protected. Therefore, there should be many people who will hire us next." Mantis said with a light tone.

Finn nodded. "That's good, I guess. At least you and your team will be busy for a while."

“Your Mandalorians would do the same,” Mantis said.

“Right.” Finn nodded. “If anything happens, Mantis, you can always call me for help. You’ve helped me and my friends several times. We owe you a lot.”

“This is really great! I will definitely let others know.

Finn nodded.

"Bye, Finn. We'll have lunch together next time.

The Mandalorian's heartbeat quickened slightly as he remembered what he had said to her the last time he saw her. He had not expected that she would remember.

Finn felt a little warm and gave her one last smile and waved goodbye before closing the transmission between him and her, thankful that his holographic image now didn't show his slightly red face.

"Damn it Finn," the Mandalorian said to himself with a kind smile. "You're lucky to have met a good man."

As the Guardians prepare to leave the planet of Nevarro, the rest of the galaxy struggles and reacts in its own way after Ultron's sudden blitzkrieg.

The Separatists called for a council consisting of every senior person involved in Dooku's stewardship.

It was chaotic and totally dissonant.

For the first time in a long time, Count Dooku actually attended these meetings. Not via holographic projection, but in person.

The Count watched the discussion, his mind full of thoughts.

Many questions filled his mind, and there were no answers to ease his headache. This was not planned or expected.

In the past, his master Sidious would have told him long before something like this happened.

Sadly, even he himself does not know the answer to this disaster.

For now, all Dooku can do is appease the masses and hope to find a solution to their latest problems, all caused by this guy named Ultron.

That was the name Sidious had spoken.

No one seems to know who this Ultron is.

The meeting was abuzz with discussion, with many councillors arguing back and forth about the attacks and what should be done about them.

"We need to fight back now!"

“How can you say that?! We were just attacked as well.

"Yes, a retaliatory strike against the Republic is what we need."

“What are you talking about?! The Republic? They’re not the ones attacking us.

"Then how do you explain the Hunter-class Star Destroyers and Cheerleaders-class assault landing ships that appeared in the fleet attacking Laxus?"

"Then how do you explain that our own ships were also under attack?!"

"Enough!" Dooku's voice rang out, effectively silencing the entire conference room.

"Senators, please control your emotions," Dooku said softly. "The last thing we need is to argue with each other at a time when we must come together. Now is more important than ever.

"Dooku is right," said a middle-aged woman with brown hair.

She is Minna Bonteri from the planet Onderon.

Many in the chamber turned their attention to the current speaker.

"If we continue to recklessly attack the Republic after suffering such devastating losses ourselves, it will only leave us in a weaker state," Minna pointed out.

"Weaker state?" screamed a green-skinned female alien with red eyes and some kind of spikes on her head. "We were attacked, but we managed to repel the surprise attack. Our losses were at most a few dozen ships.

"Do you see what's happening here? Major systems are being attacked simultaneously. We don't know by whom, but they clearly have a plan for this attack. Either against us or the Republic. Whoever is behind this wants us both weakened." Mina countered. "To attack the Republic so suddenly now would only lead to further chaos. Especially considering the state they're in."

"Senator Bontelli is correct on this point," Count Dooku said loudly. "If the Separatist Alliance attacks now, it will result in far greater losses. The Republic, though it may be as shocked as we are, will undoubtedly be on high alert after such a shocking attack.

"Dooku is right," said another human senator. "We need to consolidate and restore ourselves."

"This makes no sense," snarled Voi Atel of the CIS war party. "We need to reestablish our foothold in this galaxy. What if the Republic is planning an attack on us?

"That's impossible," Dooku said. "They are in no better shape than we are. This will only lead to further chaos.

The Sith Lord's eyes were fixed on Voi. "I understand and admire your undying loyalty to the Separatist cause, Atel. However, if you are to recklessly discard everything this Alliance stands for, then you are no better than the Republic from which we broke away.

This was enough to make Voi give in and shut up from her overzealous rhetoric.

When the meeting was over, Dooku stood alone, staring at the ground. He needed to contact his master as soon as possible.

This shouldn't have happened.

This was not part of the Sith's grand plan.

Whoever this Ultron is supposed to be, whoever he thinks he is, he’s playing a very dangerous game with the likes of the Sith.

This Ultron will pay the full price for his hubris.

In response, Darth Tyrannus swore an oath to the Force.
