Marvel crosses Star Wars, and everyone attacks the galaxy

Anakin, Obi-Wan, Leska, Luminara and Sirus and their clone officers all talked to each other as the two Padawans went around assisting the clone medics in tending to the wounded.

"This battlefield is ours, if only temporarily," Kenobi said, crossing his arms and stroking his beard. "I've heard from Puro and Aayla that they are making progress."

"Master Dante and Colonel Rhodes reported the same thing after I left them," Anakin said.

"The only problem we had was the city being attacked," Captain Rex began. "I got word from the 183rd Legion that Jarri City was being harassed by Ultron's forces. They were barely holding on."

"Any news about their evacuation?" Leska asked, and Rex shook his head.

"Ultron's orbital fleet is bringing down ships making it a nightmare to get civilians off the planet," Anakin said, frowning.

"Perhaps Barro and the 104th Legion could handle an air evacuation?" Luminara suggested, and Commander Gree supported her.

"They are some of the best pilots in the Republic," Gerry said. "Wolf Battalion thrives in these conditions."

"You can't be wrong about that," Anakin said.

"Right now we need to focus on the here and now," Cody said in a calm tone. "The sooner we take care of the Separatists and their allies, the sooner we can focus on Ultron and the evacuation plan."

"We have gathered all of the Jabiim nationalists here and established their base here," Master Sirus said, gesturing with his head to their holdouts.

"Good. We need to interrogate all survivors. This is the third defensive position we've taken this week." "Oddly, I don't recognize the battle droid."

"I'd be a little surprised now if they actually used them," Obi-Wan admitted. "The Avengers told us that Ultron is capable of possessing nearly any form of technology. There have been multiple reports of the droids behaving irrationally before attacking anyone in the galaxy who came close to them."

"Given that most of us weren't there when Ultron attacked Coruscant, we're pulling in some Earthlings to show us the relevant material," Anakin said.

Obi-Wan shook his head. "For now, it is best that we persevere to secure our victory and leave this planet as quickly as possible.

They all nodded and scattered across the battlefield, Anakin and Rex leading Luminara and Gree to search for their Padawan and commander.

They found two Padawans helping a clone trooper remove one of his shoulder armors, allowing Barriss to use her Force healing powers.

Next to them was Aubrey Wing treating another clone trooper.

"Ahsoka," Anakin called to her.

"Master." Ahsoka said with a small smile. "Hey, Rex, how are the kids?"

"Pretty much." Rex shrugged.

"How's it going here, Barris?" Luminara asked her own Padawan gently.

"Too many wounded, Master," Barris said, showing a remorse that was slightly alleviated by the appreciation of the soldiers she had healed.

"We leave it to you," Anakin said. "Come on, Ahsoka, we're needed elsewhere. Return to Sanctuary Base and regroup for our next move.

Tortuga simply nodded and bid a silent farewell to her companions for the moment.

Walking through the camp, Ahsoka rubbed her arm as she talked with her Jedi Master.

"everything fine?"

Ahsoka looked around, looking at the Republic troops with a friendlier expression, while the Nationalists received a neutral and slightly mocking look.

"Master, the prisoners are afraid of us," Ahsoka muttered, looking ahead.

"You must remember that the Republic has over a hundred thousand inhabited worlds," Anakin said calmly, as if it had been rehearsed.

"I've been accused of eating children!" Ahsoka said a little petulantly.

Anakin frowned, remembering hearing such words during the past ten years of training under Obi-Wan.

"There are only a few thousand of us now. Billions have never seen a Jedi. Millions have never even heard of us, the Jedi Temple, or the Force. When we show up, we can be killers, or healers." Skywalker said, turning his gaze to the two Padawans they had left behind, who were healing anyone who needed it.

Ahsoka didn't know what to do, and Anakin rubbed his chin in thought.

"Ahsoka... when you met Master Plo, did you know he was a Jedi? Did you know what a Jedi was at the time?

"Uh...kind of. Ahsoka said.

"What have you heard about them?"

"It's just that the Jedi are some weird wizard monks."

Rex and Anakin clamored and gave her a wry smile.

"Well, they're half right," Anakin said. "Though I think the weird title belongs to the Avengers at this point."

Ahsoka laughed at this, knowing it wasn't just said for joking purposes.

"Ahsoka, you only have to worry about our duty and responsibility now," Anakin said. "Protect the people of this planet and save them from this quagmire before Ultron kills them. The Republic sent us here for this, and we will not let these people down."

"I understand, Master."
