Marvel crosses Star Wars, and everyone attacks the galaxy

Chapter 312: The Failed Battle of Jabimu

Peter staggered to his feet, only to be grabbed by a metal hand by the throat, lifting him into the air.

Ultron laughed, a sadistic grin on his face.

"Children," Ultron said condescendingly. "You were designed to replace them... but now? Your end is here and now."

The young superhero let out a low grunt followed by a shaky laugh that confused the AI a bit.

"I'm sure you were really made by Mr. Stark." Peter muttered. "You can be as chatty as he is sometimes."

The mocking and malicious smile was immediately replaced by a deadly look.

Ultron's grip on Peter's neck tightened, and a moment later, electricity flowed out from within the confines of Ultron's arm.

Spider-Man let out a scream of pain, but did not lie down. He began to kick and thrash until he fired a web at Ultron's head and pulled him closer.

The Metal Man's head hit Spider-Man's knee, scaring him into letting go of Spider-Man.

Although this didn't mean Peter was going to let go easily. Just as he fell, he grabbed Ultron's arm and pulled hard, pulling Ultron's body off.

Ultron visibly took a step back, which then turned into an angry roar.

With his other hand, he used a gravitational pull from behind his arm to suck Peter back into his hand. Ultron began to repeatedly throw the already injured young hero to the ground, making sure his hand was burning the boy's clothes and skin while also repeatedly shocking him.

Ahsoka and Barriss finally recovered from the ringing in their ears and blurred vision, only to see their friend being beaten one-sidedly.

"Peter!" The two Padavas cried out in pain, and both stretched out their hands at the same time, ready to attack together.

The two girls' screams were enough to distract Ultron, causing him to pause in the violent beating of the Queens native.

He looked up just in time to be struck by a powerful unseen force that dented multiple parts of his body and sent him flying, knocking Peter off his feet in the process.

The two Padawans nearly tripped over themselves, their legs feeling like jelly, but they still managed to trudge over to Peter, who lay motionless on the ground.

Ahsoka quickly pried off his damaged mask and checked his condition.

"Karen, are you there?" Barris coughed and stammered.

"Girls, here I come." The obviously worried voice of Peter's suit's AI came. "Peter is still alive, but he has multiple bruises and injuries all over his body. I believe he also suffered a concussion.

"He'll get a lot more than that," a sneering synthetic voice said.

The two girls turned around in time to see the beaten Ultron raise one arm and stand up.

"A teenager with raging hormones." Ultron said sarcastically. "Typical—"

Before the AI could finish its words, it was quickly cut in half by a blue lightsaber from behind.

He fell to the ground, revealing Ahsoka's Master standing over him.

"Don't even think about hurting my Padawan, you damned droid." Anakin growled viciously.

Ultron blinked and just smiled. "Oh, here I thought only teenagers had emotional problems. I found Banner's time bomb brother.

"That's a lot of crap for a broken droid," Anakin said, pointing his lightsaber at Ultron's face.

Ultron just rolled his eyes.

"Disposable vehicles, Jedi Knight," Ultron taunted. "Did the Avengers not tell you, or did you not listen?"

A moment later, Ultron's body lost all red light and fell backwards into the dirt with his head.

Anakin's lips arched upward in anger, but a moment later he came back to reality as he heard Barriss and Ahsoka trying to wake Peter from his coma.

Passing by them, he saw Mark, Cas, and Aubrey struggling to get back to their feet, all six teens were badly injured, though Peter seemed to be the worst.

"Kix, I need a medical team right now." Anakin communicated through his wrist. "Peter is in serious harm's way. He's unconscious and badly injured. We have Padawans and clones here who need help healing him.

"Right now, sir. Jesse, Churik, we need you to come over here!

Shortly after the order was issued, Ultron ordered a temporary withdrawal.

People barely survived the battle, but the losses were heavy.

The base and the men occupying it were soundly defeated, though they stood and managed to repel Ultron's attacks.

Despite this, they suffered devastating casualties.

Clone casualties were now in the five figures, while the Loyalists and Nationalists numbered only a few hundred behind them.

Currently, some people gathered in the main operations room of the shelter base to discuss what to do next.

One of the holo-tables was active, showing the battle going on with the Republic fleet, which was somehow still fighting back against Ultron's own fleet with everything it had in its ships.

"There's no point if we stay here any longer," Obi-Wan said, covered in mud.

"Ultron hijacked every droid the Separatists had," War Machine said grimly, crossing his arms. "Half our people are either dead or injured. Peter is injured, Hope is injured, Matt is injured. Several Jedi and Clone Officers are either injured or dead.

"We can't stay here." Steve announced. "Ultron...Ultron has the advantage in numbers now. He has more ships, and he could wipe us all out if he wanted to.

"Our fleet is holding on," said Prow tiredly. "It would be nice if it were this way."

"Then why didn't he?" Anakin groaned irritably, placing a hand on the Padawan's shoulder.

"Ultron is many things," Natasha said, wrapping a new bandage around her arm. "As much as I'd like to list them all, he's first and foremost a conceited megalomaniac. He does that on purpose.

"Why?" Aayla asked. The planet had been horrific for all of them, having nearly lost her second-in-command and one of her best soldiers in the inferno of the planet. Plus seeing Steve nearly get blown up by a tank, and several of her other Jedi comrades dying as well... though she was someone who could control her emotions very skillfully.

But she was also a student of Quinlan Vos, a Jedi Knight and a rebel within the Order, and some of his tendencies naturally rubbed off on her.

“He wants us to panic, wants us to break down and take the first step so he can fight back,” Steve said, crossing his arms.

"The last time we fought him, he wanted to rush things. Quicksilver grunted slightly and nodded his thanks to Kix, who wrapped the last of his bandages around his waist. "He's doing things differently this time."

"We can't stay here," T'Challa declared, standing over the unconscious Daredevil. "If we stay here, Ultron will destroy us."

"So what can we do?" Barriss asked nervously. Her Master was currently with several other Jedi Masters, who were working on a defense against the clones and the loyalists and separatists on Jabium. Her clothes were soaking wet and covered in scorch marks and dirt, and the Mirialan Jedi was exhausted.

Next to her was Peter, who had taken off his mask and was lying on a makeshift bed so he could rest after his battle with Ultron.

Barris had been working to heal the young hero, with a trembling and obvious worry on her face for all to see as she moved her hands over his body.

Although the healing was difficult due to their lack of connection to the Force, Barris at least made some progress in healing Peter with the Force.

Thanks to his own healing factor and her Force healing, he'll be fine. Only time will tell when he'll fully recover.

"What can we do?" Ahsoka asked glumly. "Ultron won, didn't he? Jabium is his.

"Yes," Steve admitted, and several people present were stunned. It was disturbing to hear Captain Rogers admit this.

However, Steve wasn't done yet.
