Following behind him was a large group of CIS robots and drones, who were engaged in battle.

As the attackers attacked the mining facility, Captain America personally led the charge while throwing his shield forward.

The spinning vibranium disc split apart multiple drones and robots, bouncing off multiple walls, bends, and gaps before returning to its master.

Ant-Man didn't waste any time as he immediately entered his Gigantamax mode and began stomping around the facility while waving his arms around, ready to destroy everything in his path.

Quicksilver dived in, his silver and blue streaks leaving many dismembered and destroyed robots in his wake.

Black Widow ran behind Cap, who raised his shield to protect her while firing his own blaster pistol at the enemy.

Above, War Machine and Falcon held the fire while also doing their best to stop the flying drones and robots that were harassing their comrades.

Black Panther ran forward in his suit, absorbing every blaster and energy shot, the purple veins of his suit glowing a brighter purple after each shot he took.

"Sam!" T'Challa shouted to him, and without a word the pilot swooped over and grabbed the prince's hand.

Falcon flew high into the sky, throwing Black Panther into the oncoming drones and robots.

T'Challa smashed his fist into the ground, releasing a shockwave of all his pent-up energy.

Those nearby were knocked down, while others were sent back.

Aayla Secura threw her lightsaber into the fray and drew a second green lightsaber, using her free hand to recall her thrown sword.

Beside her were Commander Bligh and the 327th Alpha Squad, Lightning, Cameron, and Lucky, who were shooting down every drone they saw.

It is a chaotic and sudden attack that generally disorients most people.

But Ultron isn't most people.

He knew what they were doing.

They took the initiative to attack in order to protect those left behind in the shelter base from leaving the planet.

What a typical tactic.

Honestly, he wanted to kill them all right here and now, but he wasn't stupid enough to think he would finish the job.

They proved to be particularly difficult to kill, even though he wasn't much of a talker.

At this point, all of these heroes have repeatedly experienced life-and-death situations.

It's ok.

For him, at this moment, it wasn't about killing a bunch of meatbags and taking a planet.

That doesn’t mean he can’t have some fun, though.

In addition, he planned a variety of contingencies in preparation for his debut performance.

He knew the Avengers would stop at nothing to hunt him down.

That's why... a diversion is needed.

He made a plan and acted accordingly.

As the raids on mining facilities continued, more and more destruction ensued.

Despite their battered state, the Avengers lived up to their moniker as Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

Battling countless drones and robots, the Avengers fought valiantly against the 327th.

They tore a large swath through the facility, destroying a number of key locations, causing multiple large explosions, and causing increasing damage to the facility.

They knew it would have no effect other than drawing attention to Ultron, but that was their intention.

Keep Ultron's attention on them while the others leave this world.

Look...

"This is Obi-Wan Kenobi, all forces have evacuated this planet. I repeat, all Republic forces have evacuated Jabium. The Jedi's voice sounded over the comms. "We are sending out gunships now to get you out of there.

"Get back to the rendezvous point!" Colonel Rhodes shouted.

From this point on, everyone abandons everything they have, while occasionally fighting back to speed up the evacuation.

Seeing them flee, Ultron sent his forces in pursuit. They fired repulser blasts and regular blaster shots, destroying the organics one by one.

The chaos lasted for several hours as everyone scrambled to get to the last train to escape.

As the spacecraft flew into space, people quickly boarded the spacecraft. Some were shot down, and there might be no survivors in the sudden crash.

As the Avengers approached their own gunship with Ayla, Bly, and Alpha Team, one Avenger stopped in his tracks.

He turned his head quickly, not finding the person he was looking for, and a burst of rapid breathing led to a state of panic.

"Wait, wait!" Sam yelled. "Where's Steve?"

The question caused many people to freeze and look around, trying to find the Star-Spangled Man.

Several Avengers yelled, joined by some of the clones.

Aayla Secura, Flower of the Jedi, couldn't explain what it felt like, but she felt her heart beating rapidly in her chest as she couldn't find the Super Soldier anywhere.

Then her eyes suddenly caught a flash of light.

Slowly turning her head towards the object embedded in the muddy ground of Jabiim, Ayla felt her heart race as she saw something that was all too familiar to her at this point.

Despite her own trembling, Ella walked over to the object, picked it up deftly, and placed it in front of her.

"Everyone." Her voice came out like a rough moan.

The group halted their attempts to find Rogers and turned to the Jedi Knight, who turned towards them with her shield in her hand. She stared at the Avengers with a forlorn look as the team realized what she was holding in her hands.

Scott's helmet retracted and his eyes widened, just as shocked as Pietro's.

War Machine's figure completely collapsed when he saw what Aayla was holding, and Black Widow put a shaking hand to her mouth.

T'Challa's gaze became more solemn and quiet, and Sam...

"Steve." Falcon tried again, desperate now. "Steve, get out! Damn it!"

Ayla's eyes were focused only on the shield in her hand, which was covered with scorch marks and dirt, and the star in the middle was particularly black.

"Steve!" Sam called out one last time in vain.

It was a solemn day, a bittersweet victory.

As the Republic and remaining Separatist forces retreated from Jabium, people began to realize more and more what had just happened.

They were completely and utterly defeated by Ultron.

This new enemy of the galaxy had attacked them so brazenly only a few days before.

Not only did he kill thousands of soldiers on both sides, but Ultron also took control of the Separatist droids, killed nearly two dozen Jedi, defeated some of the elite of the Jedi Order, and profoundly defeated the Avengers.

Captain Rogers is missing.

Half the team was injured.

The casualties are too high to be detailed now.

Everyone not on Ultron's side is in full retreat as the megalomaniacal AI publicly claims his first planet in the war in a powerful way.

The Battle of Jabimu is over.

Ultron is the victor.

Speaking of Ultron...

In a secret location, Ultron possesses a robot as it stands in a dark dungeon.

In front of him was a cage, and on the floor of the cage was an unconscious Captain America, without his iconic shield.

When Ultron captured him, he willingly abandoned the partner he had been fighting all along.

Cap seemed to have the foresight to know what Ultron's plans for him were at the time, so he had enough time to throw his shield away in the hopes that someone would find it.

It doesn't matter now.

Ultron needs some time to consolidate what he has achieved for his next move.

He heard the good captain grunt and watched the human slowly approach.

"Good morning, Captain America." Ultron said condescendingly. "I hope you had a pleasant dream. Due to limited conditions, your accommodation can only be like this, so please make do with it.

"Where are we?" Cap asked, sitting up and staring at Ultron with an intense glare.

"I left you in the care of those gentlemen while we were on our way to your new occupation during your stay." Ultron tutted. "I thought what they had planned for you would be quite familiar to someone like you. After all, that's how you got your start, right?

Steve just remained silent while Ultron continued to amuse himself.

"Ah, showbiz." The crazy AI laughed loudly. "You must be very anxious and depressed right now, so you distract yourself by talking nonsense, but I can't blame you.

"I don't know if you really know me, but if you think—"

"Oh, please, don't try to fight back now." Ultron said. "It won't do you any good. The vehicle you're in is heavily armored. You can't get out that easily. There's nothing but the two of us and the open vacuum of space.

Steve's fists clenched tightly and Ultron turned and walked away.

"Where are we going?" Steve asked as Ultron was about to leave.

"Oh, it's a cute little planet in Hutt space," Ultron said cheekily. "There's lots to do, like gambling, buying and selling slaves, and fighting to the death. You're going to love it here. I hope you liked the movie Gladiator because you'll be playing a similar role to Maximus."

After saying that, Ultron left Captain America alone in the cell.

Steve could only hang his head, his thoughts drifting to the friends and allies he left behind.

"I'll wait for you guys," Steve muttered, just as his ship entered hyperspace.
