"I'll be fine. The noise in my ears stopped a few days ago.

"Yeah, well, we have to double check, Matt," Sam Wilson said at the blind Avenger's bedside, where he was currently being cared for by a Jedi healer. "We all have to be on this if we're going to find Steve.

"I haven't found any news about him yet."

Falcon grunted in frustration. "No."

It has been about two weeks since the Battle of Jabium, and overall, the Avengers are pretty much in full battle form, with the exception of Matt.

Matt took the longest to recover because he suffered some internal trauma, so he is still confined to bed to recover.

Peter was the first injured Avenger to fully recover, and his enhanced physiology healed many of his more serious injuries.

Hope took longer because she dislocated her shoulder during the Battle of Jabium. Thankfully, with the medical technology in this galaxy, she was able to recover faster.

The rest of the team had their share of injuries, but none of them hindered them from being able to accomplish anything.

Even though they were constantly worried about Steve, that didn't mean they just sat there and did nothing.

Over the past few weeks, the Avengers have been seen all over Coruscant, helping many clones, Jedi, and regular folks clean up the destroyed city planet.

In the city skyline, people can see falcons or war machines in wingsuits flying to the next place where they can help.

Joining Spider-Man shortly after recovering from his injuries, the young hero has been everywhere and far more than most of the other Avengers, and he's clearly been pushing himself to the limit to help as many people as possible.

The blurry figure of Pietro Maximov running around also becomes visible, with Mrs. Soko delivering supplies or bringing people to where they can receive medical care throughout the city.

Hope van Dyne also began using her Pym technology to help shrink the rubble to make it easier to clean up, while Scott chose to secretly use Ant-Man's gigantic powers to help lift heavy objects while the Wasp was away.

Black Widow and Black Panther have been helping direct all of these menial tasks, sometimes directly participating in the cleanup, while also telling the Avengers where help is needed most.

Matt remains bedridden and is extremely frustrated that he can’t offer any help in the cleanup.

On top of that, the blind lawyer learned that during the attack on Coruscant, Bo-Katan escaped captivity and has not been seen since. She may have left Coruscant and rejoined Death Watch.

Although this frustrates the blind lawyer, he decides not to dwell on it.

There were more pressing matters at hand.

"Do you have any ideas as to where Steve might be?" Matt asked Sam, the pilot crossing his arms in thought.

Falcon pondered the question in his mind for a moment, trying to come up with an answer.

"Natasha was held captive by Ultron when he was first created." Falcon mused. "He told her...he wanted to show her his plan. He wanted someone to witness his goal come to fruition.

"That sounds pretty conceited," Matt commented.

"Not surprising, considering who he's based on," Falcon said dryly, then shook his head.

Matt tilted his head, motioning for Falcon to continue.

Sam spent a moment trying to come up with the appropriate way to convey what Black Widow had said to him.

"I can't believe I'm saying this, but the way she worded it..." Sam scrunched up his face, as if he wasn't sure whether to believe what was being said to him. "It's like that metal bastard is... Maverick.

"Unconventional?"

"Remember that crazy metal bastard we were told about? Ultron was based on guys like Bruce and Tony. Two guys who were always apart from most people.

"Sam, have you forgotten who we are?"

Falcon hummed. “You know what I mean, Matt. Ultron is different because he’s just like Tony. He seeks attention and has many coping mechanisms.

“It sounds like you’re psychoanalyzing him,” Matt said.

Wilson just shrugged. "I work with a lot of soldiers in the DA. Everyone has their own baggage, but Ultron…

"Not sure if wanting to cause human extinction counts as baggage."

"Leaving aside Ultron's 'logical conclusion'..."

Before Sam could voice his thoughts and elaborate further, the door behind him opened, and in walked a Jedi with braids and yellow stripes on his face.

"I thought I heard a familiar voice."

Sam turned and smiled.

"Vos," the pilot greeted, clasping hands with Jedi Master Keefal, who returned the gesture and gave the Avenger a bright smile.

"Nice to meet you, Sam," Quinlan Voss said. "And you must be... the blind lawyer, right?

"Matt Murdock."

"Quinlan Vos." The Jedi nodded.

"Do you know Sam?" Matt asked curiously.

"He and Captain America helped Kenobi and my team on a mission not too long ago," Voss said, patting Sam's shoulder appreciatively.

Sam then turned to the Jedi. "So what can I do for you, Vos?"

"Just stopping by to say hello to a friend," Quinlan said with an easygoing smile.

"Thank you," Sam said, patting the Jedi Knight of Keefar on the shoulder. "But it seems you are here for a purpose."

Voss shook his head and gave an amused smile.

"Well, you're right," he admitted. "But I'm not here to ask you to do something for me. I'm here to ask you what I can do for you."

Sam and Matt glanced at each other as the Keefal Jedi continued to speak.

"You see, what I normally do for the Jedi and the Republic is I'm with Delta Team, and we go behind enemy lines and fight," Voss said. "From there, I organized a spy network."

"That sounds interesting," said Sam.

“When the time is right, the necessary things will come.” Voss agreed. “But on that topic, I have several contacts trying to find leads on your wayward captain. We haven’t found much, but we’re still looking.”

"Really?" Sam said in amazement. "You did this for us?"

"We owe the Avengers far more than we ever imagined," Quinlan revealed. "Many clones, Jedi, and citizens owe their lives to you. This is the least we can do to help you."

Sam gave a genuine smile. "Thank you."

"Any news?" Matt asked.

Quinlan sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "People say they don't know where he's being held. Either that's true, or Ultron has completely covered up all channels and information, making it even harder for us to find him."

"I guess it won't be easy," Sam admitted.

"They know who to look for, right? Make no mistake."

“That’s for sure,” Quinlan said. “You Avengers are sometimes more popular than us Jedi. Then again, your brightly colored costumes and crazy powers tend to make you stand out in a crowd.

"You're flattered," Sam shot back.

Voss grinned again. "Don't worry though, Delta Team and our contact, my best contact right now is looking for any leads on Captain Rogers, she has never let me down before and I'm pretty sure she won't let anyone down, especially to someone I consider a friend."

“We’re very grateful for that, Quinlan,” Matt began.

Voss waved his hand and said, "Don't be so polite. Now it's time for us to return the favor. Besides, we are friends, aren't we?"

The three of them looked at each other and smiled.
