Bucky was walking down a path in a village buried in snow.

He stopped in the middle of an intersection and took a moment to breathe in the cold air with satisfaction.

Oddly enough, he could find some comfort in the natural cold compared to the artificial hell trap of cryosleep.

He heard the crunch of boots in the snow behind him and turned to see Celeste Moon.

She was visibly trembling, and her teeth were chattering comically against each other.

“Think we should get you a thicker coat,” Bucky commented.

"What do you think?" Celeste retorted sarcastically, doing her best to avoid the biting cold. "Hehe, why aren't you cold?

Bucky just shrugged. “After a while, the cold hardly bothered me anymore. Just got used to it.”

"Lucky bastard."

The Winter Soldier just chuckled.

"Come on." He put his arm around her shoulders and she leaned completely against him, hoping to warm herself with his body heat.

Bucky scrunched his face in thought, looking around the village.

Celeste and himself had traveled far to the north of Norway. They were here because of Celeste's "feeling" of the Force, which apparently pointed her in the direction of this village.

Currently, they had been exploring the Lofoten Islands for the past few weeks, following Celeste's Force abilities and trying to figure out what had brought her here.

As they got closer, she talked about how the Force had a strong presence here. But it wasn't the Force either, it was something completely different. But it seemed to be connected to the Force.

Whatever it was, Celeste described it as unimaginably powerful.

This was a feeling she had never experienced before.

Jedi Shadow thought that maybe the locals would know something about this, although Bucky was slightly skeptical.

Still, he followed her lead, and the two of them traveled from village to village, asking about anything strange they had seen recently.

While the first village found nothing, the second village mentioned that they noticed unusual crop yields last year.

This confuses the two, but they continue on their way and an older gentleman talks about meeting a man about his own age who gave him some information that will help them provide more food for their village and others.

As they went to the next village, the answer they received came from a wandering old man in a hood who advised many who needed words of wisdom or came to him for wisdom.

This continued as they went from island to island and village to village, asking again and no one what strange people were, but strange people seemed to be everywhere on these islands, until an old man brought them to an isolated island where no one lived there.

He even lent them his boat so that the two could travel to the isolated island.

So now they were on their way to the town's port, where they would board a borrowed boat to the last island of their trip here.

"Is that so?" Bucky asked, looking around.

“I don’t know,” Celeste said.

"What do you mean? You don't know?" Barnes turned to her. "Aren't we here for your feelings?"

“The Force can only tell me so much, Bucky,” Celeste said, rolling her eyes. “It can’t tell me everything.”

"Yes, but I thought—"

“Ah, visitors. What a pleasant surprise.

Bucky and Celeste turned around to see an old man wearing a worn eye patch walking towards them.

"who--"

“I rarely see people come here, but when they stop, they’re always welcomed,” the man with the eyepatch said with a pleasant, fatherly smile.

"who--"

"Me?" the old man continued. "Just an old man seeing a place he once called home long ago. A lot of things have changed, but I was glad to find the place the same as it once was.

The man's single eye gazed into the distance, his eyes filled with satisfaction and admiration, looking towards the horizon.

“Are you the stranger everyone’s talking about?” Celeste found herself asking.

"Strangers?" the man said in an innocent tone. "I would have thought they would have figured it out by now. Some of them seemed to know me. Although they were more familiar with my kind than the young men in the village.

He chuckled to himself.

"After all, I am more familiar with their heritage than they realize," he told them with a weary sigh. "I have been waiting for this for a while."

“For what?” Bucky asked cautiously.

“I have been waiting for my sons. I want to see them one last time before I join my wife in the afterlife.

“Afterlife,” Bucky repeated slowly, making sure he had heard the man correctly.

The old man just nodded. "I am old. Older than either of you can imagine. My time is slowly coming to an end."

“I can feel it." Celeste whispered in awe. “You... you have a powerful force radiating from you. It's like a beacon in the Force.

The man looked at the woman in surprise. "The Force...oh, this takes me back to when I was younger.

"Do you know the Force?" the Jedi asked.

He nodded. "You are far from your galaxy, ma'am."

Celeste's eyes almost popped out of her head. "Galaxy G?! I'm not in my own galaxy anymore?!

The old man just nodded again.

All the while, Bucky remained lost in it all, wary of this stranger.

“Don't worry about it,” the man said, turning to the Winter Soldier. “I mean neither of you are in any harm's way. In fact, I'm glad to have some company after being alone for a while.”

"Who are you?" Celeste finally asked.
