In another part of the New York Temple, Doctor Strange, Shuri, and Iron Man stood around a newly installed holographic table, and surrounding the table through a portal were Mordo, Ghost Rider, Celeste, Wong, and the Winter Soldier.

“He’s most likely somewhere in China,” Wang said, his voice calm and even. “Celeste met Maul in Hong Kong when Dormammu almost broke into our world and brought it into the Dark Dimension.”

“When I last saw him, I sensed an uneasy feeling, a change,” Celeste said in a serious tone. “The power that Kaecilius and his zealots drew from Dormammu… somehow Maul got it, too. But I fear something is wrong.”

"Great, more foreboding." Iron Man quipped. "Well, what do you think happened?

As Celeste pondered this question, she thought back to Hong Kong and the last time she had seen Moore.

"He captured one of Caecilius's zealots, and he sought to absorb the powers she had gained from the Dark Dimension." The Jedi recalled, imagining the memory in her mind. "Because of this, in addition to his unorthodox methods of becoming stronger, he developed a hunger. Not just for power.

"So what happened to him when he got this Zealot?" Shuri asked.

Celeste hummed thoughtfully. "It's hard to say. It was pretty chaotic. I can only assume various possibilities.

"Yes. But what happened when he went for the main course?

"He was screaming that his soul was burning, or something like that," Morn revealed. "That's after I destroyed his amulet."

Ghost Rider snorted derisively. "I think he's swallowed too much."

"It backfired. It was like he was starting to get corrupted," the Jedi said.

"And now he's like a ticking dimensional energy time bomb, threatening to explode and release everything he's repressed into the world." Doctor Strange said, his tone dark. "Not to mention having all these entities ready to erupt at any moment."

"Are they sentient?" Iron Man asked.

“Yes,” Mordo said grimly. “No doubt they are angry that they were forced to be contained in a container instead of a space of their own choosing.”

"Moore will inevitably die," Wang said, his tone emotionless. "He will postpone his death as long as possible. Not caring who or what will pay the price.

"So what can we do to find him?" Bucky Barnes asked the group.

"You said you specialize in this kind of magic, right?" Iron Man asked. "So doesn't that mean you have a way to track him?"

"The magical energy you're talking about is not of this dimension," Shuri added.

"I tried to track him earlier." Ghost Rider said, slightly surprising the group. "No luck. He either hid his powers, found another way to hide himself, or... the first way is nearly impossible. There's no way a guy with that much power like this can't go untracked. So either he's hiding somewhere we can't find him, or something else."

"So what else is there?" Iron Man asked.

Ghost Rider shrugged.

Iron Man and Shuri looked at each other and began to study the hologram.

"Do you two have anything to share?" Mordo asked.

Shuri pulled out a holographic display of the colors of magical energy used by magicians. "I haven't had much time to study the magic you use, but I've been able to deduce some possibilities. Like most things, they radiate energy. We just need to find the right signal, wavelength, or anything unusual.

Doctor Strange narrowed his eyes slightly and looked at Mordo and Wong.

"Any ideas?"

Mordo frowned and crossed his arms in thought.

"I believe we can all agree that he is probably still in Asian territory," Mordo affirmed. "Given our current level of alertness, his visit to any other sanctuary would alert us immediately."

"He fled the Hong Sanctuary during our battle with Kaecilius and his fanatics, while Stephen used the Eye of Agamotto to reverse the disaster that nearly claimed our world," Wang continued. "It was the perfect cover for his escape."

Celeste's eyes widened slightly as she stared at the energy projection Shuri still displayed.

"It's all energy," Morn whispered to herself, remembering the Ancient One's voice when she first learned about the greater aspects of the Force she had yet to enter.

The power of the universe.

The Force she knew and understood was only a small part of this all-encompassing cosmic force.

But there is a connection.

Like many of her lessons at the Jedi Temples on Coruscant and Ossus, the Force was all interconnected.

It surrounds all life, penetrates it, and binds it all together.

Like Moore, she can tap into that power.

"Okay," she said to herself, getting everyone's attention.

Closing her eyes, she opened them and reached out to the Force.

"Cerai-" Doctor Strange began, and the Winter Soldier held up his hand for him to stop, the super soldier staring intently at his girlfriend.

She felt herself relax, the words 'unlocking' her body, and she felt the familiar force begin to flow through her being.

Only this time…it’s much more powerful.

Celeste was almost breathless from the feeling, she tried to steady herself and let out a breath.

This. . .

It's unbelievable.

Is this the power of the universe?

Celeste shook her head, remembering why she was doing this.

She needed to focus.

Find Moore.

He had been a part of her. So with or without the amulet, she knew that if she focused she could find the crazy Sith Lord.

The rest of her friends and allies watched in silence, as the two least familiar with magic widened their eyes slightly as a gust of wind, seemingly from nowhere, picked up around them and began to swirl around Celeste.

"What is she doing?" Iron Man asked.

"Find our missing Sith Lord." Winter Soldier said confidently.

Celeste had kept her eyes closed through all of this, when—

*respite*

She swayed slightly and would have nearly fallen if her lover hadn't been beside her.

"Hey, honey, I've got you," he said in a reassuring voice.

She looked up at him with a bright smile, then looked back at the others, her smile showing a certain level of confidence.

"What do you have to tell us?" Doctor Strange asked immediately.

“That’s good news. I may have found the approximate location of where Maul is right now.” The Jedi Shadow said. “I saw… a sight. A remote village far from the main urban area. Deep in the forest, by the looks of it.”

"In a sense, Mur is clever." Mordo muttered, nodding. "A place as remote as the village you describe..."

“Mul is going to leave and get to those places sooner or later,” Doctor Strange announced. “We need to corner him there and get him out. And get there before he leaves.”

Everyone nodded in unison, and Iron Man sent a message to everyone, asking them to regroup and prepare to set off.

Iron Man's helmet quickly appeared from his head. "Get your stuff, guys, we got a Frankenstein's monster to hunt."
