Marvel crosses Star Wars, and everyone attacks the galaxy
Chapter 531 Darth Maul Jumps Up Again
"Brother, why did you come here?" A burly Zabrak man looked up at the palace shrouded in black fog and asked the slightly shorter man next to him.
Although their heights differed by several dozen centimeters, the shorter one seemed to have a stronger power. They both had unique facial tattoos, one with yellow skin and brown tattoos, and the other with blood-red skin covered with black tattoos. Their eyes glowed with an acid yellow light.
The shorter one is none other than Darth Maul, formerly Darth, now known as Lord Maul, who has abandoned the Sith Order to pursue what he believes to be a higher ideal.
"There is opportunity here, my dear brother." Moore glanced at Savage Opress. "For our future, I will guide you, educate you, and strengthen your mind."
Although Savage had his doubts, he chose to nod.
For Maul, it was a surprise to find that he had family in the galaxy. People who shared his blood and lived on Dathomir.
When Savage Opress found him, he told him some information, including how he was abandoned by his successor, Tyrannus, because he failed in a mission. He also learned that Savage was sent to him by Mother Talzin in order to gain a deeper understanding of the Force and become more powerful in the dark side.
Maul knew that the war had begun, and that the plans of his former master, Sidious, had sown the final seeds of Darth Bane's grand plan a thousand years ago. However, to him, none of this mattered anymore. He came here with a new goal and a new mission, pursuing a greater goal with his followers.
For Savage Opress, the discovery that he had a living brother - especially when that brother was Maul - was a shock. He barely remembered this brother, except that he was being led away by a hooded figure in black robes... and he couldn't help but reach out to comfort a Zabrak, only a year or so older than him, as he cried with tears in his eyes.
That was the last time he saw Moore before this.
It took Savage a long time to find him, relying on the amulet given by Talzin's mother to guide him, but it was worth it in the end.
"Brother, what can we find here?" Savage asked curiously, and the two stepped into a huge building. Moore brutally killed the guards who tried to stop them.
"As I said before, Savage, this is a place of opportunity," said Maul. "The galaxy is wavering, and we should take advantage of the discontent and betrayal. This place is just one of many. Coming soon will be our future allies."
They eventually came to a door, which Maul pushed open effortlessly.
Behind the door was a huge dining table with many chairs, some of which were already occupied. At one end of the table sat a man in gorgeous clothes. He stood up and waved his arm, making a solemn invitation gesture.
"Oh, finally, our distinguished guests are here. Welcome to your successful arrival."
"Next time, remember to notify your guards of our arrival in advance, Senator May Dickey," Moore said rudely, "and remember to clear the bodies at the door."
"Of course." May Dicky replied, then signaled the guards in the room to deal with the body outside the door.
Savage saw that the person who spoke was a humanoid with neatly combed white hair, surrounded by dark facial tattoos and almost white eyes. He was the Senator of Umbara - May Dicky.
Sitting next to Senator May Dich was a woman with reddish-brown fur and golden eyes—Queen Mirajane Sintel of the Zigeria Empire.
She looked at Savage with a seemingly indifferent attitude, but her eyes inadvertently fell on Moore who was walking over. He was sitting opposite her, just to the right of Senator Dickey.
"Now that everyone is here, let's get started with dinner," Senator Umbara announced. "As you would expect, we will have a deep discussion."
Moore then spoke, his tone solemn and steady: "I thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to meet with us instead of meeting with the cowards who betrayed you." After he finished speaking, he raised his glass and drank with elegant manners.
Although May Dicky tried his best to hide his displeasure, everyone in the field still noticed his emotional fluctuations.
"Lord Moore, what do you mean?" He tried to ask in a disdainful tone, "I don't understand what you mean-"
"Don't treat us like fools, Senator." Maul interrupted him, his eyes sharp, piercing May Dick's heart. "I recently learned about the negotiations and peace talks between the two major factions in the galaxy. Such discussions have been proposed by some people before, and now, the arrival of Ultron has created an opportunity for this peace negotiation. Now, the Separatists have once again proposed such a plan, intending to seek peaceful coexistence with the Republic government that you once betrayed. I understand your anger and frustration, being betrayed by two governments in such a short period of time." Maul laughed a few times in contempt.
Faced with Moore's repeated questioning, May Dick fell into a brief silence.
Queen Mirajane, who had been observing quietly, kept her eyes fixed on Moore. As she chewed her food, a wild smile appeared at the corner of her mouth.
A moment later, May Dickey suddenly slammed the table and slammed his fist hard on it.
"Those cowardly, fickle fellows!" he roared, finally releasing the anger that had been suppressed for so long. "This is a shameful humiliation! I joined the CIS to keep my people away from the filth of the Republic. They voted for my decision. But now other senators are trying to appease those we turned our backs on! They are insane! If I had the power, I would kill them!"
Moore looked at Dickie's reaction, a malicious smile on his face. He had expected such a reaction, and it was exactly what he wanted. For him, even without the help of the Force, he could clearly sense the anger. To those fools, Dickie might be a perfect politician, but in Moore's eyes, he was like a clown, so immature.
Maul's gaze then turned to Queen Zigeria, and her eyes revealed a fearless determination, as if she was warmly welcoming his gaze.
"And you, Your Highness." Maul spoke now in a more frank and respectful tone. "Your people are suffering from a form of oppression that has prevented them from continuing their long traditions of prosperity. This is not only a failure of the Jedi and the Republic, but also a regression of civilization. However, it is sad that the Republic has turned a blind eye to similar situations in other parts of the galaxy, which undoubtedly exposes the incompetence and arrogance of those in power. This closed-door approach, such as those of the banking clans, they control the territory but sacrifice the happiness of others for their own benefit. Even more disgusting is that the backbone of their army is those clones without self-awareness, blindly following orders, even with the guidance of the Jedi Knights. "
Mirajane's eyes narrowed slightly, "Oh, yes. They condemn my people's way of life, yet have slave armies of their own, just to keep them from getting their hands dirty."
The former Sith Lord, Darth Maul, slowly leaned back in his seat and clasped his hands together. "So you all understand the hypocrisy of this galaxy, don't you?"
Both representatives of their respective species nodded, May Dickey glaring in anger while Milaje's eyes took on a more predatory gleam, like a marauding blade locked onto Maul's body.
Mirajane said, "I can see that you are a person who understands the subtleties of the world and knows how to take appropriate actions. So, what kind of alliance do you hope to achieve between us?"
Without hesitation, Moore responded: "Protection."
This answer confused Senator Umbara and Queen Zigeria, and even the guards in the room.
"Protection? Against Ultron? If so, I really want to hear what's going on." May Dickey said sarcastically: "That robot has gone completely crazy. It has left traces of destruction in every corner of the galaxy. It tried to destroy all life within its control."
Moore nodded. “That’s a problem, a tough problem, for sure,” he said. “But I’m not talking about that now. I’m talking about another problem.”
May Dickey and Milaje looked confused, and Milaje asked, "So, what's the problem?"
Maul began mysteriously, "I will speak of what is about to happen to this galaxy. I come here as a representative of one who is more powerful than the forces that rule this tiny corner of the universe. One who has entrusted me with the power he has given me to establish a foothold in this galaxy."
Mirajane stared at him, now filled with curiosity, and asked, "What is this 'power' you speak of?"
However, Moore did not answer directly, but put his arms on the table and tapped his fingers lightly. "What I mean is...their fanaticism will lead to a situation that is difficult to control."
"Level of fanaticism?"
Moore then elaborated: "They don't like technology very much, seeing it as an insult to their culture, as they live in symbiosis with their native star systems and colonies. Their ships and weapons may look ancient and primitive, but are actually more extraordinary than you might think."
They could sense the respect that Maul had for the powers that he wielded.
Queen Zigeria said slowly: "And your master... What is his purpose? Why does he want to stay here?"
Maul replied, "Be patient, my dear queen. For my master is seeking some important item that could change the entire universe."
Mirajane and May Dick looked at each other, confused by what Maul had just said.
"Just know this: When I say protection, I mean that my master's forces will not attack your territory or allies. They know their mission, and will obey our leader and myself with the utmost loyalty. They are under my command, and know the consequences they will face if they disobey my and my master's orders."
Then, Maul slowly rose from his seat and continued, "In addition to providing protection, we will also share the wealth of knowledge and technology my master has accumulated over the years. This is a path of cooperation aimed at breaking the current state of development stagnation in which your people live."
"What do you mean by 'technology'?" May Dicky's eyes flashed with great interest.
"Yes," a sinister smile crossed Moore's face, "The technology we have is far beyond your imagination. All other technology is like dust and rubble in comparison."
To prove what he said was true, Maul took out a disc from his pocket and used the Force to float it to the center of the table. When the disc was activated, various schematic diagrams emerged for the senators and the queen to see.
"This space drive surpasses any hyperdrive you've ever known. Our artillery makes conventional blasters look like child's play. Our armor is beyond the imagination of most people in the galaxy. And we have a whole new method of interstellar travel, a means of exploration beyond the boundaries of the galaxy."
Shock and disbelief filled the air, and even the battle-hardened Savage remained silent, for he had never seen anything like it.
"This... this is..." May Dicky stammered, but Moore interrupted him.
"If you accept my proposal, your team will have the opportunity to experience the endless benefits of these technologies." He took out several copies and used the Force to hand them to May Dickey and Milaje. "You can study them in more detail when you return."
For the next few moments, the room fell into silence, as if to give May Dicky and Mirajane enough time to digest the information.
"The conditions you offer are indeed very tempting." May Dickey said slowly, "Although I hope to agree to this arrangement immediately, I have the responsibility to discuss this matter with my government."
"Understanding. No matter who they are, they are an indispensable part of our common cause," Moore replied.
When the crowd dispersed, Moore and his brother had a private conversation.
"Brother," Savage said hesitantly, "this all sounds incredible. I thought that as long as I told them this proposal, they would gladly accept it."
However, Moore scoffed and said confidently: "They will accept it. If you look closely at their body language, their reactions, their posture, and their eyes."
Savage thought carefully, clearing his mind of distractions and concentrating on the actions of Senator May Dickey and Queen Milaje.
Gradually, an expression of sudden realization appeared on his face.
Seeing this, Moore said approvingly: "Now you understand."
"They will definitely agree eventually. They are now almost cornered. Ultron is stirring up the situation. Whether they like it or not, Senator Dickey and Queen Mirajane are also looking for ways to protect their people from extinction. And you just provide them with an opportunity to escape from the conflict, and the hope that may come."
"Well said, my brother," said Maul, patting him on the shoulder. "Contact Jorus and tell him about our meeting here."
At this time, Queen Mirajane Sintel walked up to the two of them, "Hello, Lord Moore."
Moore responded gently, "Your Highness, is there anything I can help you with?" He gently pushed Opres next to him, motioning him to leave.
When they were alone, Queen Mirajane said frankly, "I accept your proposal, and the rest of my empire may accept it as well. However, Lord Moore, I would like to further discuss the topic we had in the palace. Will this not cause you any trouble?"
Moore responded with humility, placing a hand on his chest and bowing his head slightly: "Of course not. It's rude to turn down a woman like you."
Queen Mirajane smiled after hearing this, "I firmly believe that some of my people have great interest and expectations in the alliance we are about to form."
"I will do my best to answer every question you have," Moore promised solemnly. "I stick to my principles and keep my promise. I promise you won't be disappointed."
At this moment, a greedy smile quietly bloomed on the queen's face, and her eyes flashed with desire.
"Oh, my dear Lord Moore, I believe you will not disappoint us in this matter."
"Of course. I look forward to the day when I can visit your homeland to explore our cooperation in greater depth."
"I hope this day won't be too long, Lord Moore. Sometimes I get impatient when it's too long, and I hope you can understand."
So, the two sides said goodbye, knowing that this tiny ripple of alliance would eventually become a surging tide.
