Marvel crosses Star Wars, and everyone attacks the galaxy

Chapter 8 Captain America's First Meeting with the Queen of Naboo

There is a huge roadblock at the east entrance of Theed Palace, with clone soldiers and royal guards guarding every position, who are desperately resisting the attack of the robot army.

Although the number of robot armies is large, the clones and guards have tenacious perseverance. At this moment, they burst out with strong fighting spirit and fight against the robots.

They had been fighting for some time, and although the number of robots had been greatly reduced compared to before, they still far outnumbered the guards.

Suddenly, a laser missile fell from above, and at the same time a shield flew over and smashed a large number of robots into pieces, and at the same time, countless artillery sounds came from behind.

The palace guards and clones paused their fire for a moment, expressions of surprise on their faces as they looked to see who had come to support them.

The robot army was quickly defeated by the reinforcements, but this reinforcement did not immediately enter the palace. Instead, they turned and ran to the corner where they first appeared.

Then the palace guards saw some clone soldiers and some security guards guiding and helping many civilians to walk towards the palace in an orderly manner, some of whom were obviously injured.

The guards quickly opened the barricades, and then the clones and guards stationed at the palace rushed out to assist their brothers and comrades, opening a defensive corridor for the unarmed civilians.

Leading the group were two distinctive humans, one holding a clone sergeant, while the other held an unconscious woman in his arms and a little girl on his back, her tiny hands clinging to his back.

Naboo guards were responsible for taking civilians and the injured to safe areas for treatment.

Seeing this scene, everyone felt that the situation on Naboo might be improving.

Inside the palace, the news that the droids were defeated quickly reached Padmé, and Gregar and a group of clones, guards, and civilians finally arrived at the relatively safe palace.

Although they were injured, their lives were not in danger. This was the best news Padmé had ever heard.

Padmé hurried off, escorted by Captain Panaka, to the palace's medical wing.

As soon as she entered the room, she was greeted by a group of injured clones, guards and civilians, all lying on beds, with medical staff tending to their wounds. It didn't take long for her to find her sister Sora, lying unconscious on the bed with a bandage wrapped around her head, and her niece Leo standing beside the bed.

However, she did not recognize the tall man standing next to little Leo, who was holding her hand tightly. The man seemed to care about Leo very much, stroking Leo's head to comfort her, then squatting down to wipe away little Leo's tears and whispering something to Leo.

Another man next to them also caught Padmé's attention. The man was also wearing strange clothes and equipment, and was talking to Gregor and a clone sergeant.

"Leo." Padmé called excitedly.

When Leo turned around and saw the woman, the tears she had been holding back finally fell, and she cried and rushed into the woman's open arms, hugged her tightly, and shouted: "Auntie."

"I was really worried." Padmé said as she hugged Leo and patted her back gently.

"Mom is hurt," Leo said, tears streaming from her eyes.

"It's okay, Mom will be fine." Padmé comforted Leo.

"Are you Senator Amidala?"

Padmé was startled by the sudden voice. She looked up and found that it was the stranger who was holding Leo's hand.

"This is my aunt, Padmé," Leo said happily to the man, looking up at him with a smile on his face.

"That's good." Captain America said kindly, gave her a warm smile, and then instructed: "I hope you don't run around before your mother wakes up."

Leo nodded obediently, and she turned to hug Padmé again.

"If it's convenient, could you tell me who you are?" Padmé stood up holding Leo and asked Captain America politely.

"Steve Rogers." Captain America introduced himself, "The man behind me is my friend and comrade Sam Wilson."

"Senator Amidala, we are able to come back alive thanks to these two." Gregar limped to Padmé and said solemnly.

"I thought you weren't back, Captain Gregar." Captain America looked at Gregar standing in front of him and made a rare joke.

"My duty is to protect the safety of Ms. Amidala and her family. At the same time, I have to come back alive and report your contributions in this battle truthfully. Otherwise, your contributions will be buried." Gregar also said jokingly.

"Did Falcon tell you to say that?" Captain America asked knowingly.

"There's absolutely no need for that. I was planning to say this from the beginning. This is the fact." Gregar shook his head firmly.

"You protected my people?" Padmé asked puzzledly, looking at the strange man in front of her.

Just as Captain America was about to speak, an excited voice came impatiently.

"It's not that he protected us, it's that he saved us," Sergeant Buck shouted as he struggled to sit up from the bed.

Many clones, guards, and civilians followed Sergeant Buck's lead and shouted.

Captain America shook his head and looked at Falcon helplessly, and Falcon shrugged as well.

"Thank you." Padmé said earnestly, "Thank you so much. Although this is the first time we meet, my gratitude to you is eternal."

"Don't say that. We're just doing the best we can to do what anyone would do," said Captain America.

"You saved my niece, my sister, my people, and my closest friend." Padmé looked at Captain America with gratitude and said seriously, "You can call me Padmé, Mr. Rogers."

After settling everything here, Captain America and Falcon, led by Padmé, came to the palace hall, where many senior officials, politicians and nobles of the planet Naboo gathered.

Padmé kindly introduced Captain America and Falcon to many people, including Senator Organa and Chucky.

"Senator Amidala." Steve said to Padme after greeting everyone here, "Although I am happy to see so many people here, the palace is still under attack outside, and many innocent lives are still in danger. Do you have any plans?"

"Yes," Padmé replied immediately, "The Gungans who are allied with us can help us, but I am worried that they may have been attacked by the Separatists. Although the main target of these invaders is the capital, Theed, it is not ruled out that they will attack the Gungans' settlement - the swamp."

"How do we deal with those spaceships outside?" asked Falcon.

"The invaders are not as strong as we thought, and our defense fleet is also very powerful. However, considering that so many robots were able to successfully invade despite our powerful defense, I'm afraid this stalemate will not last long." Padmé admitted reluctantly, "Except for the Gungan habitat and some other special places, the palace is currently the safest place."

"In this case, we need to go out and escort those who are in the war outside to the palace, including clones and civilians." Captain America said firmly.

"Otherwise, all the clones and civilians outside the palace will die," Falcon echoed.

"Oh my God, these are two true heroes." Suddenly, a shrill and sarcastic female voice echoed in the hall.
