Chapter 373 Shopping Mall

We arrived at the city center of Raccoon City, where was the supermarket that everyone had once defended. It had also been demolished and rebuilt. Now the 13-story shopping mall was full of postmodern nostalgia.

"They even kept the memorial wall." Gwen's voice came from behind Charlotte, while Harry in front of Charlotte was staring at the glass pyramid on top of the shopping mall in a daze.

"Yes, the memorial wall~"

The memorial wall that remains is a piece of supermarket wall that has not been demolished. It is placed across the road in the supermarket's parking lot. It is covered with devil patterns graffitied by later generations, covering the list of dead engraved on it.

And the cat food that was once piled up as the last line of defense is now covered by a two-meter-high electronic screen, which plays a few promotional information on a loop.

Cool air blew out of the automatic doors of the shopping mall, carrying with it the caramel smell of popcorn, blending with the cold and damp air in my memory.

This is the most developed place in the entire Raccoon City and was once the main battlefield for resisting the fog.

Listening to the soprano voice in the mall, this ballad from the devil was sung to perfection by them, even the Tieshankao was danced so gracefully, attracting customers to come.

All reasonable and unreasonable things were mixed together in this city, causing Charlotte, who was looking at the sky, to become gradually dull.

Gwen walked up to Charlotte, tapping her leather boots on the sidewalk, and they looked up at the sky in the distance.

There were only a few stars there, and the sky was not yet completely dark.

"Why~ Are you thinking about that bizarre parallel world again? By the way, have you ever seen me in the parallel world? What is she like?"

Gwen's tone was a little strange, but Charlotte didn't notice it. He shook his head, turned his head to look at Gwen's curious profile, and replied:

"Don't even mention Ghost Spider. I've never even seen Spider-Man. Besides, the parallel world is boring. It's just a carnival of a bunch of crazy people. If you are interested, I will take you there next time."

Gwen and Charlotte looked at each other, their eyes curved, and their hearts were immediately filled with anticipation.

She was particularly curious about the world of card players that Charlotte mentioned.

His sight fell back to the shopping center. Looking at the deserted entrance, Charlotte asked:

"So, Umbrella built their hive underneath this mall?"

"That's right~" Gwen spread her hands helplessly:

"Carter said that Hammer believed that the safest place was the most dangerous place. The largest and safest shopping mall in Raccoon City should be the most dangerous hive."

"Okay~" He rubbed his nose and looked speechlessly at the pagans coming in and out of the supermarket, including Satanists, the Light and Shadow Society, the Skull and Bones Society, the Demon Sect, and even the KKK...

"This kind of place can't be called safe no matter how you look at it, right? It totally looks like the headquarters of a cult.

And what the hell is this supermarket selling! Axes, knives, shovels, ropes, whips, oxidizers, and bags that are just big enough for one person.

It's not practical at all, why not just sell submachine guns!"

"What nonsense are you talking about!" Gwen retorted:

"How can a supermarket sell guns directly? You can only buy those in a weapons store."

"So we should go to the weapons store before going to the supermarket?"

"Stop talking about these irrelevant things." Harry interrupted their conversation and said while looking at the shopping mall:

"The first thing we need to do is to find the entrance to the hive, then collect all the useful information, find my father's location, formulate a comprehensive plan, and finally go in and rescue my father..."

Harry narrowed his eyes and carefully observed the entire shopping mall for a long time. He still felt that the glass pyramid on the top of the shopping mall was the strangest.

"What! We still need to make a plan!" Charlotte said in shock, "We have Hulk, so we don't need any plans."

"What Hulk?!" Harry shook his head and glanced at the honest Banner and said:

"It's dangerous to find the entrance to the hive, so I'll go into the mall and look for it! I suspect the entrance to the hive is in the glass pyramid at the top of the mall!"

Having said that, Harry stood up.

Just as he was about to take the risk, Gwen seemed to have discovered something and exclaimed:

"Officer Carter...?!"

Carter?

Everyone was stunned, and then followed Gwen's gaze. At the edge of the shopping center, a green trash can lid was flipped up, and then a jubilant Carter walked out of it carrying a shopping bag...

And then……

Carter inexplicably stepped on empty air, hit his forehead on the edge of the trash can, and fell back into the trash can.
