Chapter 44: Hagrid's Shabby Room

Horn arrived at the Hogwarts kitchen early for the party.

In the kitchen, the house elves were busy like little bees. Horn found Garcia, the hardworking and enthusiastic house elf.

"Garcia, let me see how the ingredients prepared for the party are going." Horn said with a smile, his eyes full of anticipation.

After all, I have been eating Western food for so long in Hogwarts, and I still miss my mother’s cooking. However, now we just cook it ourselves and share it with others, which makes it taste better.

Garcia immediately stopped what he was doing and replied respectfully, "Dear little wizard, everything is almost ready. There is a whole leg of lamb and various seasonings for barbecue, such as cumin, chili powder, salt, etc. Garcia has prepared them all."

Garcia pointed to the radishes and greens placed on the corner of the table and said, "There are also some fresh vegetables that can be roasted together with the lamb legs."

Horn carefully checked the ingredients and nodded with satisfaction. "Very good, Garcia. You did a great job. Thank you very much." As he spoke, Horn took out two gold galleons and handed them to Garcia.

Garcia waved his hands quickly and said anxiously: "No, no, respected little wizard. This is what we should do. You don't have to pay for it."

Horn insisted on giving it to him, and stuffed the gallons into his hands, saying seriously, "Garcia, your hard work should be rewarded. Take it, this is a little gift from me."

Garcia wanted to refuse, but seeing Horn's firm and serious expression, he hesitated for a moment, and finally accepted the gold galleons with gratitude in his eyes.

"Thank you, respected little wizard. Garcia, I will definitely deliver these ingredients to Hagrid's hut on time in half an hour." Garcia said respectfully.

Horn smiled and nodded again, then turned and left the kitchen to meet Harry and the others and head to Hagrid's hut.

As for the two little followers Pansy, Filial and others, they all went about their own business, some catching up on sleep, some visiting the castle, and some going to the restaurant.

After all, the ones agreed upon last time were Horn, Harry, Draco, Ron, Carlotta, and Hermione.

Along the way, everyone was curious about the delicious food Horn prepared.

"Hey, what delicious food do you think Horn has prepared for us this time?" Ron suddenly asked, his eyes full of anticipation, as if food was his whole world.

Hermione nudged Ron gently, frowned slightly and said, "Ron, you only know how to eat. But I'm also curious about what Horn prepared."

Carlotta was also looking forward to it, so she took Hermione's soft hand and squeezed it, smiling and saying, "Whatever it is, I believe Horn's preparations will definitely surprise us."

Harry smiled and said, "Maybe it's some delicious food we haven't tasted yet."

Harry was indeed curious about the delicious food Horn was talking about, but at this moment he was more curious about what Draco was talking about Professor Snape and his parents.

Draco snorted, the corners of his mouth slightly raised, and said: "Horn will definitely not let us down, don't worry, stupid guy."

Draco felt that being on good terms did not mean that one could not talk about people. Horn seemed to have said that in the distant country of Daxialong, some people who were on good terms would call each other godfathers or godmothers. Although he did not quite understand the meaning of this term, it was probably that they were very close.

At this time, Horn joined their conversation with a smile: "Don't worry about the food, we will know when we get to Hagrid's hut."

Then, Horn looked at Harry, "Harry, we might borrow the open space next to Hagrid's house later. I'm going to give everyone a special dining experience."

Harry smiled widely and responded, "That's certainly no problem. Hagrid is always very hospitable, I don't think he would mind. And I'm looking forward to your culinary surprise."

Although Harry said this, he was still a little worried. After all, this dinner was a last-minute decision, and he didn't know whether Hagrid would agree.

"Harry, don't worry. Although borrowing Hagrid's place for the dinner party was a last-minute decision, Hagrid must be invited to join us."

Horn saw Harry's worry and said comfortingly, "Besides, you also said that Hagrid is a very nice person and will definitely agree to our request. I am also going to invite Hagrid to attend later!"

"Do not worry."

Harry listened to Horn's words and nodded slightly.

Hagrid lived in a small wooden house on the edge of the Forbidden Forest. From a distance, in front of the door of the wooden house there was a crossbow and a pair of rubber overshoes that looked like they were made from the skins shed by magical animals, exuding a unique atmosphere.

Everyone came to the door, and Horn raised his hand to knock on it. Soon, there was a tense struggle and low barking of dogs in the house. Then, Hagrid's familiar voice sounded: "Stand back, Fang, stand back."

Hagrid opened the door, revealing his large bearded face. His eyes first fell on Harry, his eyes full of joy, then moved to Horn, his eyes flashed with surprise, his eyebrows slightly raised.

"Harry, you're here. You seem to have made a lot of friends!"

Hagrid scratched the back of his head, looking happy for Harry. He looked at the group of young wizards around him, especially the one standing next to Harry, and said with a smile, "Nicholas, I always remember your silent spell at Hogsmeade station. It was amazing."

"Hagrid, can I call you like Harry? Just call me Horn. Thanks for the compliment. I hope we didn't disturb you." Even Horn's old face turned red when he was suddenly praised.

"Sure, you can, Horn." Hagrid remembered here that they were still standing at the door. He patted his forehead and invited Harry and the others into the house.

Hagrid let everyone in. This cabin had only one room, and once they stepped in, it was like entering a chaotic magic treasure house.

Horn saw hams and pheasants hanging from the ceiling. The hams seemed to be made of ordinary pork, and they were emitting a slight luster; the feathers that looked like pheasant were woven into exquisite ornaments, and there were some bones of unknown magical animals hanging randomly next to them, dangling precariously.

Horn also found that there was a copper kettle boiling water in the fireplace. The handle of the copper kettle seemed to be made of the horn of some magical animal, emitting a mysterious light. Horn was sure that it was there, after all, he had seen it in Dongtian Manor, and it seemed quite precious. He couldn't help but take a breath.

Looking at the big guy in front of me, I thought to myself, it would be a shame not to be a druid, he is a natural born druid!

The area around the fireplace was filled with all kinds of debris, including old magic books, strangely shaped stones, and some hair that seemed to have fallen from magical animals.

There was a big bed in the corner, with a quilt made of scraps of cloth that looked like some kind of magical animal fur. Half of the quilt was hanging on the ground, with a few haphazardly placed jars on top of it.

There was a table in the middle of the room, and the chairs next to it were neatly arranged.
