Hogwarts lazy snake

Chapter 62: Every Request and Chance Encounter

Maybe Prince Sun had done something that made him feel guilty, for when Sister Moon Rabbit was about to ascend to the sky, he slipped away in a hurry, leaving only a wisp of afterglow to prove that he had been there.

As Horn searched, he wondered which floor the Room of Requirement, the "room that can do whatever you want", was on. He had been looking for it for so long, and it was supposed to appear when someone needed it.

"There seems to be a mural of a dancing troll."

Horn walked in the corridor on the eighth floor, looking at the murals on the wall illuminated by the firelight.

The corridor was spacious and silent, with the flickering firelight casting mottled shadows on the walls. Horn's footsteps were particularly clear in this quiet environment, and every step seemed to carry his expectations and doubts.

Walking in the wide corridor, Horn found that there were fewer wizards on this floor. Basically, there were only a few of them. He didn't know if it was because this was on the same floor as Dumbledore's office.

He took out his pocket watch to check the time and found that it was almost eight o'clock. Horn was surprised that he had been wandering around the castle for more than an hour.

Time passed quietly, but Horn's journey of exploration continued.

However, this is the last floor, so I should be able to find it. Horn thought so, and just after turning a corner, he saw a painting with a giant monster in it.

Horn's eyes were instantly drawn to the painting of the giant monster.

The giant in the painting is huge and ferocious, with rough skin that seems to have been worn by years. On the ugly face, a pair of small eyes flashed fiercely, and the huge mouth was slightly open, revealing uneven teeth. Well, it was very ugly, and it seemed to be waving a huge wooden stick in his hand. The stick looked extremely heavy, and was covered with mottled marks, as if it had witnessed countless battles.

Horn looked closely at the painting, full of anticipation, his eyes fixed on every detail in the painting, trying to find clues to the Room of Requirement.

He touched the frame gently and thought to himself, I need a room.

However, there was no response. Horn frowned, feeling somewhat puzzled. Did he find the wrong place? He looked at the giant in the painting again, trying to find some clues.

The giant in the painting suddenly picked up the mallet in his hand and hit the man in dancing costume. The man dodged in panic with a terrified expression on his face. The giant's movements were swift and powerful, and the mallet drew an arc in the air, accompanied by a whistling sound.

Suddenly, Horn remembered the method of opening the Room of Requirement that he had read in the book. He closed his eyes, concentrated his mind, and silently thought about his needs for the Room of Requirement.

"I need a quiet place, a room where I can do my experiments alone."

When he opened his eyes again, the giants in the painting who were beating the man turned their heads to look at him. Those small eyes revealed confusion and curiosity, as if they were examining this stranger who suddenly appeared.

Horn was delighted, thinking he had found the right place.

Then, one of the giant monsters in the painting that was looking at him slowly retreated, and then rushed towards Horn all of a sudden.

The giant's figure quickly enlarged on the canvas, just like the 4D masterpiece Horn had seen in his previous life, getting closer and closer, and even the canvas was bulging. Horn was so scared that he immediately pulled out his wand and was about to cast a fire spell on the mural.

Horn's heartbeat quickened instantly, and he held the wand tightly in his hand, his eyes full of vigilance. Just as he was about to recite the spell, he saw the giant suddenly hit the bulging canvas like a glass door, the whole giant stuck to the entire canvas, and then slowly slid down in the painting. Its eyes revealed reluctance and confusion, as if it didn't understand why it suddenly encountered such an obstacle.

Horn breathed a sigh of relief and slowly put down his wand, secretly thanking himself for not impulsively casting the spell.

He looked at the painting again and paced back and forth, thinking in his mind that he needed a room, hoping that the real entrance to the Room of Requirement would appear.

Suddenly, Horn heard a familiar voice behind him, the same sound of the door opening when he went to Diagon Alley and returned to the dormitory.

Horn turned around and stared at the empty brick wall in front of him. Suddenly, there appeared an iron door with patterns on it. He felt an indescribable excitement and curiosity in his heart.

Slowly reaching out his hand and lightly touching the cold iron door, Horn felt the texture from his fingertips, which made him more convinced that all this was not an illusion.

"Oh boy, I finally found it." Horn recalled the action just now, and remembered that he had to turn around again.

Thinking that I had just thought that the giant monster portrait was the entrance, I suddenly felt that I could dig out the three bedrooms and two living rooms with my toes. I quickly looked around to see if I could let you see it.

I was relieved to find that there was no one there.

Taking a deep breath, Horn slowly pushed the door open. With a slight creaking sound from the door hinge, the world behind the door appeared before his eyes. His eyes widened instantly, shocked by the scene before him.

Inside is a magnificent living room with a high ceiling and exquisite chandeliers emitting soft light, illuminating the entire space. The floor is covered with gorgeous carpets with exquisite patterns, making people feel like they are in a palace of art.

There are huge oil paintings hanging on the walls. The characters and scenery in the paintings are lifelike, as if they can walk out of the paintings at any time.

The furniture in the living room is neatly arranged, and each piece exudes an ancient and noble atmosphere. The carved sofa, exquisite coffee table, and tall bookshelf all demonstrate the luxury and elegance here.

Horn walked into the living room cautiously and closed the door, as if afraid that his footsteps would disturb the tranquility here.

Outside the corridor, at the moment Horn closed the door, the iron-framed door seemed to sink into liquid, swallowed up by the wall and disappeared, as if it had never appeared.

Horn in the room turned his gaze to one side of the living room, and was even more surprised to find that there was a shooting range where he could test his Colt.

The ground of the shooting range was paved with special materials, solid and smooth. Various protective facilities were set up around it to ensure the safety of the experiment. There were different types of targets on the target position, some were round, some were human-shaped, and some were in strange shapes, waiting for Horn's Equality Device. Zero o'clock changed, to challenge.

Horn could not wait to walk to the shooting range and took out his gold Colt from the holster inside his clothes. He carefully examined the gun, his heart full of anticipation. Then, he raised the gold Colt and aimed at a target. His eyes were focused and determined, and his finger gently pulled the trigger.

"boom!"

A gunshot broke the silence of the living room. The bullet flew towards the target and hit it accurately.

After the target was hit, it was blown into pieces, with flames burning on the fragments.

Feeling the experience of firing just now, Horn showed a satisfied smile on his face: "Well, after the adjustment, this equal zero point change is not bad. Under the condition that the power remains unchanged, the recoil has been relieved a lot by the formation."

Then, he took out the Silver Colt and continued shooting, constantly adjusting his posture and aiming point.

In the Room of Requirement, Horn seemed to have found his own place. He could experiment as much as he wanted, exploring the performance and potential of the Colt. There was no outside interference, just him and his creation.

Horn was so immersed in his experiments that he lost track of time. He kept trying different shooting methods and angles, recording the results each time. The shooting range became his laboratory, allowing him to continuously improve his skills and creativity.

After an unknown amount of time, Horn finally stopped what he was doing, blew into the muzzle of the gun to check that there were no bullets, and then turned the gun. He looked at the target fragments on the ground with satisfaction, and at his own achievements, he felt a sense of accomplishment.

After all, when I was doing experiments with Master Flamel, I had to try a few times and then make improvements. I had never tried a method that was so satisfying in one go.

Moreover, you can also practice your shooting skills. After all, the bullets are just ordinary bullets and do not have any tracking effect. You still need to practice the accuracy of your shooting.

Checking the time, it was almost eleven o'clock. He realized that he had been shooting for more than two hours. Horn once again looked around the magnificent living room and shooting range, then gently closed the door. He left the Room of Requirement with a heart full of joy and anticipation, ready to bring Draco and the others over to practice.

After coming out of the Room of Requirement, Horn looked at the iron-framed door disappearing before his eyes, clapped his hands, and prepared to go back to the dormitory.

Just as he went down to the seventh floor, Horn saw two shadowy figures walking in the corridor. He originally thought that it was the senior student who was out for a night out.

As a result, I heard two familiar voices.
