Hogwarts lazy snake

Chapter 8 The Eve of School

Almost half a month had passed since Horn obtained the magical alchemy product, the cave. In about a week, he would be enrolled in Hogwarts.

Over the past half month, Hogg has spent most of his time in the cave learning the basics of alchemy and magic, as well as practicing spells.

I don’t know if it’s because of the previous secret technique advancement combined with the magic riot that I’m now learning faster than before, and the magic I control is more precise and subtle.

I also went to the Leaky Cauldron in Charing Cross Road several times, and went through the patio of the Leaky Cauldron to reach Diagon Alley. I also did some shopping to practice finding alchemy from the cave.

Of course, what is more important is that it was only after Horn entered the cave that he discovered how big the cave is. It can be said that the internal space of the cave is even larger than that of the suitcase of the magical animal expert.

The space inside the cave is very huge. After entering the cave, you will appear in a manor full of Western European Gothic style.

As for the outside of the manor, it is very simple, probably because it has not been replenished with magical power for more than 200 years and no one has taken care of it, resulting in the environment being a bit desolate.

What? You mean Raven Black? There is nothing to say. Raven Black was created by Ambert Nicholas. He was awake for 10 years, and then he has been sleeping in the box cave since Ambert died.

If it weren't for the impending magic riot that caused Horn's magic storm to wreak havoc on the entire manor, the ravens probably wouldn't have noticed that a new magical blood had been born in the Nicholas family.

"Hei Si, tell me if you did this on purpose. You could have just told me that Nicholas's ancestor's relics were in the basement, and I would have come down."

Outside the manor in the cave world, a lawn of about 10 square meters appeared abruptly, and in a corner of the lawn there was a coffee table and two stools.

Horn sat on one of the recliners, holding a magic book in his left hand and a magic wand in his right hand. He waved his magic wand and skillfully cast the basic magic bird summoning spell. He looked at the raven Heisi who was dozing on the table and complained.

"Gah~ No, Master Hei Si is just testing this little Horn!"

"That is to test whether the master's descendants are qualified to inherit the master's wisdom... ugh~"

After hearing Horn's words, Raven Hei Si shouted excitedly.

"I know, I know. It's getting late. I'm going out first. I'll come back tonight."

Horn put away his wand, stood up from the recliner, and walked towards the door of the manor. Instead of walking in, he stood at the door and waved goodbye to the raven, whose temperature had already turned red.

"Okay, see you tonight."

No one saw Horn chanting any magic spell. Suddenly, a flash of light appeared where he was standing, and some incomprehensible imitation words appeared, and then Horn disappeared.

A small box that looked like a model toy on the desk in Horn's room on the second floor of Nicholas Manor suddenly opened, and then the space in front of the desk rippled like water waves.

In the originally quiet room, Horn, who had disappeared at the entrance of the Cave World Manor, appeared in front of the desk.

When Horn walked out of the room and was about to go downstairs, he saw his father Stocker coming upstairs to call him for dinner. He went downstairs with his father, and the family of three had dinner together.

As for our old patriarch Nicholas and his wife, they set off to start their retirement life of traveling around the world a week after Horn came out of the basement.

Of course, Horn also consulted his grandfather Sean about his ancestor Ambert Nicholas, and learned about the deeds of this ancestor who ran away from home and returned rich.

However, Sean did not tell anyone about his ancestors. In order to ensure the safety of his family, he would only tell them if he at least had the ability to protect himself and his family.

After all, this world is still very dangerous. There are hairy boiled eggs, a bunch of dark wizards, and the self-imprisoned prophecy devil.

After dinner, Horn used his life magic, which he had been familiar with for a long time, to clean up and put away the used dishes and kitchen hygiene.

This situation originally started when Horn wanted to master magic. Later, his mother Li Fei found this very convenient and decided to let Horn use magic to solve these problems until he entered Hogwarts.

This is why Horn, in addition to his own powerful magic and spirit, is able to skillfully use magic silently due to diligent practice.

As for his parents, after torturing Horn in envy and jealousy, they went to the living room to watch TV for entertainment.

In this way, the weeks passed quickly with Prince Sun and Sister Moon Rabbit pulling each other.

At around eight o'clock the next morning, Horn sat at the dining table with his parents in the manor and enjoyed today's breakfast.

"Oh, Horn, why don't you use flying carpets at Hogwarts, but take the train instead?"

Sto chewed the bacon in his mouth, cut the eggs on the plate with his hands, and looked at Horn who was packing a ham sandwich and meat buns across from him with a puzzled look.

"Father, you have to know that this is keeping up with the times."

Horn packed his lunch for the train and looked up to respond to his father's nonsense.

Of course Horn also knew that the magic wizard world was so isolated and backward, but he was not so great and powerful to change it.

"Oh, Stoke, have you finished eating? If you delay any longer, you will miss the time. (?°?д°?)"

Princess Li looked at the clock on the wall and said to Stock impatiently.

"Okay honey, I'm done (???;)"

When he heard Li Fei calling his name, Stoke felt sick and got up quickly. He ate the last bit of breakfast and swallowed it.

That's right, being called by your name in a foreign country is like calling the unspeakable by looking at it directly, and terrible things will happen.

Because of some sports games the couple played last night, Stoke got up late today. Of course, our mother, Lady Li Fei, was not affected at all and was in high spirits.

As the saying goes, there are only tired oxen, but no damaged plows... ahem, nothing much to say.

When Stoke finished his last bite of food, our Horn had already automatically used magic to clean the tableware and put his lunch into the suitcase.

As for checking if there was anything missing? There was nothing to check, because Horn had already checked it last night. All the items needed for admission were placed in the suitcase that was cast with the traceless extension spell.

Of course, the box also shrank into the size of a pendant and was hung around Horn's neck with a nylon rope.

Yes, just like that, on September 9st, the time for school entry arrived. Nicholas and his family of three packed up and drove to King's Cross Station, which was written on the ticket that came with the letter.

At around half past ten, the Nicholas family's car stopped in front of King's Cross Station.

Entering the crowded station, Stocker, holding his suitcase, and his wife Li Fei, holding Horn's hand, walked to the ninth and tenth platforms.

"Zi Zi, have you seen where Platform 9 3/4 is?"

While Princess Li was still circling Stoke looking for the platform of September and Three Quarters Station, she thought of the Leaky Cauldron, which was not visible to ordinary people, and chose to ask her son Horn directly.

"Yeah, I see, Mom and Dad, look at that!"

When Horn was thinking about how to remind his parents and knew the approximate location of the platform, he heard his mother's question.

He immediately pointed his finger at the wall between platforms 10 and . There happened to be a father and daughter walking towards the wall, and then they suddenly disappeared.

"Oh, it looks like we found it."

When Horn's voice sounded, Stocker and Li Fei followed the direction Horn pointed and saw this scene. Stocker spoke excitedly to his wife and children with an excited look on his face.

"Let's go over there. I'm curious about what mode of transportation you use to get to Hogwarts."

In this way, the Nicholas family walked hand in hand towards the wall that was supposed to be enchanted.

As he walked over, Horn also noticed two middle-aged men in black robes standing near the partition wall. They seemed unnoticed by others and he thought they must be the Aurors of the Ministry of Magic.

When Nicholas and his family were about to hit the partition wall, it turned into an archway. Through the archway, they saw an old steam train with a red exterior parked next to the busy platform.

The locomotive was marked with Hogwarts Express and the platform sign indicated Station Nine and Three Quarters.

"Oh, dear, look, this is actually a steam locomotive."

When Stock saw the steam locomotive, his eyes lit up, as if he saw a beautiful young lady standing in front of him.

Horn looked at his father's wretched appearance and quietly loosened his hand. His mother, Li Fei, seemed to have telepathy with him and also stayed away from this wretched man.

Of course Horn understood the excitement of this kind of man when he saw machinery, just like those modelers in his previous life seeing assembled parts, or the two-dimensional people seeing their wives.

However, this did not prevent Horn and Li Fei, mother and son, from staying away from this husband and father who looked somewhat wretched.

The smoke emitted by the steam engine lingered around the heads of the people coming and going. From time to time, you could see some animals shuttling back and forth among the crowd, and the sound of their chirping was noisy in your ears.

"Ahem... Dear Horn, remember to write back when you go to school. Your mommy and I will miss you."

Stocker came to his senses and realized his mistake. He pretended nothing happened, squatted down to put down the suitcase, hugged Horn, looked at him with concern and gave him instructions.

Li Feibie squatted down and hugged the petite Horn, rubbing Horn's little head with her hands, and said seriously: "Zi Zi, you must remember not to flirt with other girls at school."

Li Fei sniffed and looked sad, then continued: "Your father is right, take good care of yourself at school. Daddy and Mommy will miss you."

Seeing his mother's sad expression, Horn nodded in response. He also felt warm and reluctant in his heart, after all, this could be said to be his first time to enter a boarding school.

However, the next scene made Horn have serious doubts and wondered whether he was his biological son.

Because soon Stoke and Li Fei quickly said goodbye to Horn. They said that although they were senior executives of the company, they also had to follow the official seal system. It was time to go back to work, and then they walked happily towards the road they came from.

Shaking his head, Horn stopped thinking about it and walked towards the train with his suitcase in hand.

Watching the farewells between parents and children in the crowd around me, and thinking of my own quirky parents, the corners of my mouth rose unconsciously.

Also, looking at the students and parents dragging heavy suitcases, I suddenly felt that it would be a wise choice to buy the suitcase in my hand that was cast with the traceless growth spell.

The aisles of the Hogwarts Express were filled with students. The carriages were heading towards the rear where there were fewer people.

Soon, Huo Enjian found an empty carriage, opened the door and walked in. As he closed the door, he thought of the students pushing heavy luggage in the aisle.

Once again, praise the great Horn, the smart Horn.

Sitting on the seat of the carriage, Horn recalled the people he had just seen, thinking that the magical journey train was about to head towards that mysterious world.
