Marvel: Spider-Man Begins Spoilers

Chapter 118 Uncle Ben's Death

"Peter, he has no obligation to pay these two cents for you. I admit that he is unkind, but helping you is a favor, and not helping you is a duty. You can't blame him just because you don't have two cents."

Uncle Ben looked at Parker's actions in the sky and felt that Parker was not mature enough. There might be good people in society willing to pay, but not paying does not mean that he is necessarily a bad person.

"Yeah! I know, Uncle Ben." Parker nodded. Only from a third-party perspective could he realize his problem.

"History won't repeat itself, right?" Toby Spider sat with Gwen. He recalled that there had been similar bad nights in the sky, but what he feared would come true.

【Parker saw that the cashier was unmoved, so he took the money from the table. A blond man wearing sunglasses behind him put a dozen beers on the table and knocked over a shelf on the cash register.】

[The cashier looked at him in disbelief, "Are you kidding?" Then he squatted down and started to pack up his things. The man took the opportunity to take all the money in the cash register.]

[Parker, whose attention was drawn to the falling shelf, watched the entire scene. The man also noticed that Parker was looking at him, so he casually threw the milk coffee that Parker couldn't afford to buy to him, and then left the convenience store from the other side.]

[Parker caught the coffee he threw and followed him out of the convenience store. It was only when the cashier stood up and found that he was gone and the money in the cash register was gone that he realized the problem.]

[He complained, "This is terrible!" and hurried out of the convenience store. Parker stood at the door and watched him cross the street and walk farther and farther.]

[The cashier yelled: "Dude! Stop it!!! Someone stop that guy!!!"]

[Then he saw Parker standing nearby and asked him for help: "Kid, can you help me?"]

[Parker shrugged and said, "I'm not responsible!" Then he turned and left. The cashier didn't see the milk coffee in Parker's hand because he was in a hurry.]

【“Who will stop that man?” Seeing that Parker refused to help her, the cashier could only reach out to stop the passing cars while chasing after the blond man in sunglasses. 】

[“Hey! Hey! Don’t run!!!” The man in sunglasses saw the cashier chasing him, so he quickly ran away. The cashier was too fat and couldn’t catch up with him at all. He could only chase and shout, hoping that someone would come to help.]

[Uncle Ben, who was looking for Parker, heard the cashier's voice, "Someone, stop that man!" The man in sunglasses ran all the way and lost the beer in his hand because he turned too sharply on the sidewalk.]

[But he didn't bother to pick up the beer, he stood up and continued to run, but there were still pedestrians on the sidewalk, he pushed away the two women who blocked his way, and he lost his balance and fell to the ground.]

[It happened to fall in front of Uncle Ben, along with a pistol. Uncle Ben saw the pistol and saw him getting up and trying to grab the gun, so he yelled and started fighting with him for it.]

[In a panic, the man in sunglasses pulled the trigger. With a gunshot "bang!", Uncle Ben fell to the ground, holding his stomach. The man in sunglasses slowly stood up and immediately fled from there. ]

[Parker heard the gunshots in the distance, and his spider sense gave him an ominous premonition. He slowly walked across the road and saw Uncle Ben lying on the ground.]

[He squatted down in disbelief, covering his wound, "OMG!!! Oh my God!!! Uncle Ben... Uncle Ben... Call an ambulance!!! Call an ambulance!!! Uncle Ben..."]

[Blood continued to flow out of the wound. Parker tried to apply pressure to stop the bleeding, but to no avail. "Oh my God!!!" Parker cried desperately to Uncle Ben with tears in his eyes.]

[Unfortunately, Uncle Ben had already stopped breathing. Parker felt his heartbeat stop, stopped pressing the wound, and lay on top of him crying.]

"FUCK!!!" Tony couldn't help but curse out. What kind of shitty fate is this? Why does Peter Parker always have to lose his loved ones in order to grow up?

"Oh... Peter Parker... We are in the same boat. They both lost their beloved uncle." Pepper sat next to Tony.

"Ben..." Aunt May II looked at him worriedly, and Uncle Ben sighed.

"Peter, when you have the ability to help others but don't, bad consequences will occur. This is the meaning of what I told you in the sky."

It’s not that Uncle Ben doesn’t care about his own life or death, but he just wants to teach Peter Parker well, so that even if he dies, he can give an explanation to Richard Parker.

Parker looked at himself crying on the sky with red eyes. One will only cherish something after losing it. At this moment, he deeply felt what Toby Spider felt.

Uncle Ben put into practice what he said to Parker with his own death, which was also the best teaching for him.

Parker swore that he would change himself, not let Uncle Ben down, and not let Uncle Ben die. He would become Spider-Man and then practice Uncle Ben's beliefs.

Looking at the sky curtain, Harry shook his head. Both Uncle Ben of Spider-Man died like this, "Poor Peter!" Norman refused to let him go back and said he would make a decision after seeing the sky curtain.

Toby Spider also felt the same way. Gwen took his hand and placed it in her palm. Toby Spider looked at her worried eyes and smiled at her to show that he was fine.

[At home, a black police officer was telling Aunt May, who had just cried and had red eyes, about the murderer's information, "The witness described the murderer to the sketch artist, and I need you to identify him."]

[He placed the sketch of the murderer in front of Aunt May. Aunt May looked at it carefully and shook her head, "NO! I don't know him!"]

[“I don’t expect you to know him, ma’am! The detectives are investigating the case! Let’s see what they find!” Parker stood aside in dismay as he listened to their words.]

[After the police finished speaking, they stood up and were about to leave. Parker stopped them and said, "Can you give me this?" He asked the police for a sketch of the murderer, and the police certainly would not refuse.]

[At the same time, the black policeman did not forget to remind Parker: "One more thing, he has a star tattoo on his left hand!"]

[Parker looked at the sketch and instantly recalled the blond man in sunglasses at the convenience store. He also had a star tattoo on his hand. Parker looked at Aunt May who was crying and felt remorseful! ]

[Parker came to the bathroom and squatted behind the door. He held a cell phone with the last recorded message Uncle Ben left for him before he died.]

[He clicked on the phone recording, and Uncle Ben's voice came from it. It was clear that his hands were still stained with Uncle Ben's blood, and he didn't even have time to wash his hands.]

[“Peter, I know things haven’t been going well for you lately, and I’m sorry about that. I understand how you feel…”]

[Parker listened to Uncle Ben apologizing to him on the phone, and covered his face with tears in sadness. He regretted why he didn't answer the phone at that time, and why he didn't go down when Uncle Ben passed by him.]

[He caused all this by himself. If he had stopped the man in sunglasses, Uncle Ben would not have died. He was the one who killed Uncle Ben.]
