Marvel: Spider-Man Begins Spoilers

Chapter 35 Parker's Confession

When Parker arrived at Uncle Ben's house, Uncle Ben, who had been waiting for him for a long time, immediately asked him to sit on the sofa.

"Parker, it's hard for you. Maybe I'm putting too much pressure on you, which makes you so tired." Uncle Ben recalled the Peter Parker who became himself again. He could clearly see that there was a big difference between him before and after.

Being Spider-Man is too tiring for Parker. He has to work, go to school, and fight criminals at night. This makes Parker physically and mentally exhausted, so that he can't do anything well.

After he abandoned his identity as Spider-Man, he was obviously much more relaxed, with a smile on his face. He was able to attend classes well and was not late.

"Uncle Ben, don't worry. The school has already communicated with me. The principal told me that he gave me the right to be late for class. My classes will be specially filmed so that I can check and make up for the gaps later. Dr. Connors also called me and told me that I can ask him if I have any questions."

"Besides, I have a salary now. The salary the police station gives me is enough for me to use. I don't need to work any more. Don't worry."

"And Mary Jane, I believe Harry will take good care of her." Parker watched the video on the sky screen and let go of many things. As a bystander, he also understood that he probably could not give Mary Jane what she wanted.

He also didn't want Mary Jane to get into trouble because of him. Although it was already quite troublesome now, fortunately no one dared to attack her. After all, anyone who attacked her would have to consider whether they could withstand Spider-Man's revenge.

Uncle Ben nodded, and the two continued talking for a long time until Aunt May interrupted their conversation with food.

[The scene changes, Uncle Ben's tombstone appears in front of everyone, and Aunt May's voice rings out, "He's gone like this, God is so unfair, he was a peaceful man, this is all my fault."]

[Aunt May placed a bouquet of flowers in front of the tombstone, and Parker stood behind her and watched. It turned out that today was the second anniversary of Ben Parker's death.]

[At Aunt May's house, she poured Parker a cup of tea. Parker comforted Aunt May and told her not to blame herself. Aunt May also knew that she shouldn't have done that, but Parker wanted to take the subway and Uncle Ben wanted to drive Parker. If Aunt May had persuaded Uncle Ben not to go, the three of them could have sat together and drank tea now.]

[When Parker heard this, he once again thought of letting the murderer of Uncle Ben go, and his emotions were churning, and his regret became even stronger.]

[He looked at Aunt May, sighed softly, and said to Aunt May: "I am responsible." Aunt May looked at Parker in confusion and asked: "Why?"]

【“Because everything that happened to Uncle Ben is my fault!”】

[“But you were in the library! You were doing your homework!”]

[“He sent me to the library, but I didn’t even go in.”]

[Aunt Mei's face changed, "What did you say?"]

"I went somewhere else, somewhere where I thought I could win some money, because I wanted to buy a car and impress Mary Jane."

[“It happened so suddenly. I won the money, but the man refused to pay it, and then he was robbed. The robber ran towards me and I could stop him, but I wanted to...retaliate.”]

[Parker said in a slightly painful and absent-minded tone: "I let him go, I let him get away," and then he sighed again, "He wanted to get a car, so he took Uncle Ben's car, but Uncle Ben refused, so he shot Uncle Ben."]

[Aunt May stared at Parker with wide eyes. She never thought things would turn out this way.]

"Uncle Ben was killed that night because he was the only one who did the right thing, and later, I held his hand as he died."

[Parker puts his hand on Aunt May's hand, "Many times, I wanted to tell you all this."]

Aunt May slowly pulled her hand back and looked at him in disbelief. She slowly stood up and walked straight upstairs. She didn't want to cry in front of Parker.

"Finally you said it out, Peter Parker. I think you will feel better now, right?" Pepper said as she stood beside Tony. Tony was in high spirits today and ran to Stark Industries. The two of them looked at the sky together.

"Ah, that's true, just say it out loud, don't keep it in your heart." Tony nodded in agreement.

Then Rhodes came, and the two had something to discuss today. Seeing this, Pepper gave up her seat to them and went out to do her work.

[The scene changes, Otto is using a mechanical arm to adjust the position of the equipment, the camera zooms out, the equipment is complete, only the raw materials are missing.]

[Amidst the thunder and lightning, Harry was in his villa, reading a report about Spider-Man, slamming the table hard and shouting, "Where are you?"]

[Butler Bernard came over and said to Harry, who was drinking alone, "It's getting late. I want to go home, sir." Harry replied casually, "Okay!"]

[Seeing Harry's unhappy look, Bernard couldn't help but say, "Your father is only troubled by work!" Harry didn't comment, "Good night, Bernard!"]

[After Bernard left, Harry walked to the balcony with his glass of wine. Amid the sound of lightning and thunder, a vibration sound came and got closer and closer.]

[Harry sensed something and walked cautiously to the balcony. Just as he was about to look down, a mechanical tentacle suddenly stretched out and knocked him to the ground.]

[The wine glass in his hand also flew up, and just as it was about to break, a mechanical arm suddenly caught the glass. Harry looked closely and saw Otto standing on the wall of his balcony.]

[Otto looked at Harry and said, "Hello, Harry!"]

[Harry looked at Otto, the uninvited guest, and asked, "Otto, what do you want to do?"]

[Otto took a sip of wine and said calmly: "Tritium is worth a fortune. I want more this time!"]

[The tentacle throws the wine glass out and smashes it against the wall. He slowly approaches Harry. Harry hears what Otto said and says in a panic: "More tritium? Are you crazy? You'll raze the city to the ground! Madman!"]

[After hearing what Harry said, a tentacle attacked him directly. Harry tried to run away, but the tentacle was obviously faster than him. It grabbed his calf and lifted him upside down, putting him outside the balcony.]

[Harry was frightened and screamed, "Hey! Hey! Stop! Stop!" Looking at the scene below, Harry shouted: "Put me down! Let's make a deal!"]

[Otto smiled slightly, picked up Harry, and put him on the ground. Harry stood up with lingering fear, looked at Otto and said: "Kill Spider-Man, and I will give you the tritium you want!"]

[Then Harry changed his words again: "No... I changed my mind, I want to live!" Otto stared at Harry closely, "How can I find him?"]

[Harry took two breaths and said, "Peter Parker!" Otto asked in confusion, "Parker?"]

[Harry explained to Otto: "He took pictures of Spider-Man for the Daily Bugle, and he can tell you where Spider-Man is." Otto left immediately after hearing this and asked Harry to get everything ready.]

[Harry was worried that Otto would hurt Parker, so he chased after him and shouted at him, "Don't hurt Peter!"]
