Eloksam Wall. Located at the southernmost tip of the kingdom, this massive wall protects the kingdom from enemy nations and barbarians.

"It's even more spectacular than I imagined. The walls of Trafalgar seem a bit shabby compared to this." Facing this spectacular wall, Cardin suppressed a dry laugh and admired it for a while.

Exactly eleven days after leaving Florian's duchy, Cardan and his companions finally reached the walls of Eloksam.

"How did you get here?" When they reached the north gate of Eloksam, soldiers armed with spears drew an X with their spears, blocking the city gate.

"If you rest there, a guide will come to find you." The guards told them about Eloksam's current situation. After Matthias left a word of thanks, he immediately took action.

"The situation here doesn't look good either." The guards looked tired. They had dark circles under their eyes, as if they hadn't slept well for several days, and their complexions didn't look very good.

But they looked tougher than any of the guards seen so far.

"It seems difficult to complete the task immediately. Should we go to the inn the guards mentioned?"

"Welcome." The shop owner, who looked to be in his 40s, greeted them with a smile, and Mathias immediately handed over the Hero Academy logo and letter of authorization.

"Dear guests who have come from afar. Thank you for your hard work. I will prepare rooms for you where you can rest quietly." The hotel owner immediately gave them three rooms.

"Those who want to eat can go eat by themselves. Let's have dinner together." Matthias left this sentence and entered the room he was led to. Click. Blanche also entered her room without saying a word.

"I need to talk to Luna." Cardin thought as he opened the door. This was indeed more upscale than the average hotel. Unlike the white exterior, the interior was painted beige.

The color alone brings a sense of calm to the room, a calmness that makes one feel sleepy despite oneself.

"Luna must be worried too." Thinking of Luna's painful look before she was recalled, Cardin couldn't help but feel heartbroken.

"Ahem!" Cardin was surprised by the sudden attack and failed to dodge. He was hit directly on the chin and fell backwards.

Boom! If that punch had been delivered with real intent, he might have passed out, but luckily it looked like the force was properly controlled.

"I was shocked." Cardin rubbed his hit chin and looked at Luna, while Luna glared at Cardin with an unhappy face.

"I said it the first time I met that woman. There's no way I can win!"

"Shh. No matter what you say, people will hear you. Can you please keep your voice down? It will be troublesome if you are discovered too." Cardin motioned for her to calm down and suggested carefully. Luna sighed and continued in a low voice.

"Why are you so reckless? You should have run away from the beginning. Leave it to me!"

"How can you abandon your companions and run away alone? It's obvious what the demons will do."

"Only by staying alive can I take revenge, or do other things!" Luna's complaint lasted for a while before it ended.

Cardin seemed worried and even complained tearfully, so he couldn't stop her.

"Here, drink this first." Cardin handed a bottle of water to Luna, who was exhausted from complaining. Luna drank the water in big gulps while staring at Cardin with tears in her eyes.

"Then what happened?"

"Why don't you know?"

"That was after you were called back..." Cardin told her that he lost consciousness and when he woke up, there was no one around him.

"That crazy demon disappeared? Isn't he dead?"
