Harry Potter: Impossibly Cute

Chapter 27 Who will win the College Cup?

"My eyes are almost swollen like walnuts"

Draco sniffed.

"I'm worried about you. You know, my heart almost stopped beating when I heard you were sent to the infirmary."

"I'm sorry Draco, I made you worry."

"You don't have to apologize. It's not your fault. It's all that damn Quirrell's fault. If he wasn't dead, I would have my father cut him into pieces and put him in Azkaban."

"Ok Draco, I'm fine now, don't worry"

Ling Bai's hand gently patted Draco's back to comfort him.

"I heard that you were injured while protecting that Potter. Can you take better care of yourself next time?"

Draco kept talking, as if he wanted to vent all the grievances he had felt over the past two days.

"I remember there will be a banquet at the church tonight. We can go home after the banquet. I will follow your instructions after we get home, okay?"

Ling Bai couldn't help it anymore and interrupted what Draco was about to say.

Draco snorted.

"Okay, I'll let you go for now."

The time came and everyone walked towards the church. As Ling Bai arrived at the church door, he was stopped.

"Ling Bai"

It was Wood, who was out of breath.

"Hello, Oliver"

"How is your health? Are you feeling unwell?"

Wood had obviously rushed over, with beads of sweat on his forehead.

“It’s obviously getting better.”

Wood breathed a sigh of relief.

"That's good. I was worried about you."

The worry in Wood's eyes was real, which made Ling Bai's mouth curl even more sharply.

"Hey, Ling Bai is under my care, you don't need to worry about anything."

Draco crossed his arms across his chest and interrupted Wood impatiently.

This time, Wood did not quarrel with Draco. Instead, he looked at Ling Bai wholeheartedly, took two steps forward, and his face was slightly flushed.

"It's almost holiday time. If you are free, you can write to me and we can hang out together, or I can play Quidditch with you."

"Of course, if it's not too much trouble for you."

"Of course it's no trouble, I..."

"He spends his holidays with me. He is very busy and has no time."

"You little brat, don't you know that interrupting others when they are talking is very rude?"

"Oh, there's no need to be polite to Gryffindors."

Seeing that the two were about to quarrel again, Ling Bai held his forehead with his hand.

Why does this scene feel so familiar?

At this moment, Ling Bai's shoulder was patted, and then a familiar naughty voice sounded.

"Guess if I'm Fred or George"

Ling Bai turned his head and saw that it was one of the twins.

"Hello, George"

George looked surprised, and then disappointed.

"Really? That's not funny at all. How can you be 100% sure?"

Ling Bai turned around and saw the twins, Harry and his three friends, and Percy standing behind him.

"How do you tell Fred and George apart?"

Ron looked surprised.

"secret"

Ling Bai blinked.

"Ling Bai, are you okay?"

Harry looked at Ling Bai with concern.

"Of course, you look fine."

"Yes, thanks to you."

Harry stared into those green eyes, then silently looked away.

"Oh my god, your heroic deeds have spread all over the school."

Fred came closer with an exaggerated look on his face, and only Ling Bai saw the worry in his eyes.

"Really? I don't feel anything, but it's Harry, otherwise I don't know what would have happened to me."

"Okay, both of you, stop being so modest. You can't do without either of you."

Hermione spoke up immediately.

Ling Bai's gaze fell on Percy, who was standing farthest away and had not spoken. Percy obviously noticed his gaze, and the two looked at each other.

"Percy. Thank you for the gift. I like it very much."

Percy was stunned for a moment, then lowered his head in embarrassment.

“As long as you like it”

"Okay, you only like Percy's gift? We spent a long time choosing ours."

Fred and George came over.

"Of course, I like everyone's gifts, but next time, it would be better if you don't scare me with those little toys."

"Hahaha, you're scared, right? It's okay, a scare will help your body recover faster."

"Hey, when did you get here?"

Draco's voice sounded a little annoyed.

He had been arguing with Wood for a long time when he turned around and found that Ling Bai had started chatting with someone else.

We were chatting so happily.

Draco's expression was like that of a young wife who caught her husband cheating, angry and aggrieved.

"Yeah"

"The young master is angry."

The twins spread their hands.

"you......"

"Students who have not yet entered, please enter as soon as possible."

Professor McGonagall's voice came from a distance, and Ling Bai grabbed Draco.

"Draco, let's go in."

Draco glared at them and turned away.

The church was bustling with people chatting and looking forward to the holiday.

It wasn't until Professor McGonagall tapped the cup that everyone quieted down.

Dumbledore stood up.

"The new semester has ended, and now it's time to award the college cups that everyone has been looking forward to. The credits for each college are as follows

Fourth place: Gryffindor, total score: 312 points

Third place: Hufflepuff, total score: 352 points

Second place: Ravenclaw, total score: 426 points

First place: Slytherin, total score: 472 points"

The Slytherin students had already begun celebrating early, but the name Gryffindor had already sealed their fate.

As expected, Dumbledore spoke again.

"Yes, Slytherin is indeed very good, but recent events should also be taken into account, and I still have some points to award."

“What is this guy doing?”

Ling Bai heard Draco's dissatisfaction.

Ling Bai patted the back of Draco's hand soothingly.

"Listen carefully, Draco."

Draco's chest heaved violently with anger.

"First of all, I would like to thank Mr. Ling Baigant for your courage in risking your life for your friends. I will reward Slytherin with 50 points."

As soon as these words were spoken, the Slytherins clapped excitedly.

"Second, Miss Hermione Granger, when others were in danger, she remained calm and used her talents. Awarded 60 points."

Instantly, Gryffindors screamed and applauded.

"Third place goes to Mr. Ron Weasley. You played the most exciting game of chess in Hogwarts in many years. Sixty points added."

"For the fourth item, Mr. Harry Potter, for your extraordinary courage and outstanding bravery, Gryffindor awards you 90 points."

"We are already tied with Slytherin"

Hermione's prompt set everyone on edge.

"What does he mean? Ling Bai, you almost lost your life, and what happened next? He is too biased!"

Ling Bai covered Draco's mouth.

"Draco, shh, don't talk nonsense."

"Finally, I want to say that we all need great courage to face our enemies, but it takes even greater courage to stand firm in front of our friends. I want to give a ten-point reward to Neville Longbottom."

As soon as these words were spoken, all the Gryffindor students became excited, which meant that the house cup belonged to them.

The Slytherin flag hanging in the air instantly changed into the Gryffindor flag.

The contrast between the two colleges was so obvious. They were celebrating happily over there, while Draco here was so angry that he threw his hat down.
