Harry Potter: Impossibly Cute

Chapter 54 The poor little one being bullied

He wanted to find Ling Bai several times, but every time the idea came up, he was suppressed by Draco who was beside Ling Bai.

He had met Draco several times, and Draco's provocative and complacent look at him made Cedric back off a little.

But no matter what, he still wanted to get closer to Ling Bai.

The people surrounding Cedric consciously made way for them, and Ling Bai sat down beside Cedric's bed.

"I heard that you were also injured. What a shame for the school to let you compete in such dangerous weather."

Cedric smiled weakly.

"I'm fine, but Harry seems to be seriously injured."

"I've visited Harry, don't worry, and don't feel burdened."

Cedric nodded slightly.

"Thank you for visiting me"

Ling Bai tapped Cedric's head with his fingertips.

"What are you thinking about? We are friends, aren't we?"

friend.

Cedric felt an inexplicable feeling well up in his heart.

Obviously, he used to be very happy to be Ling Bai's friend, but now he seems a little dissatisfied.

Cedric's hands clenched slightly.

“Yeah, we’re friends.”

The smile on Ling Bai's lips deepened, and he began to feel dissatisfied.

Ling Bai met Lupin on the way back, but Ling Bai strongly suspected that Lupin was waiting for him on purpose.

"Professor Lupin"

"Hello, Gunter-san. May I take a few minutes of your time?"

On the corridor in the distance, there was no one around. Lupin leaned on the railing and looked at the distant scenery.

"Professor, what can I do for you?"

"It's like this. Although I know my question may be a little abrupt, I still hope that Ling Bai can give me an answer. What is the last name of Gunter?"

"Professor, I don't know how to answer this question. To be honest, I don't know either. I have never seen my parents since I was a child. I was fostered in Malfoy Manor and grew up with Draco. I never doubted my identity before I was eleven years old, but since I came to Hogwarts, everyone has been asking me this question."

"Everyone? Do a lot of people ask you for your last name?"

"Yes, Headmaster Dumbledore, Professor Snape, you, wait, I have lost count"

"Oh, sorry, I'm just curious about this last name."

"It's okay, I understand."

"Kid, you and Harry have a great relationship."

“Yes, we are friends.”

"Harry is a good boy, and I think Gaunt is also a good boy."

Ling Bai had a look of confusion on his face.

"Professor, if you want to tell me anything, just tell me."

Lupine sighed.

"I can't tell you, kid. Not yet."

“Is it about my background?”

Ling Bai's words made Lupin look at him in surprise, and then he smiled again.

“Really smart”

"Professor, if there is nothing else, I will leave first."

Looking at Ling Bai's leaving back, Lupin couldn't help but speak.

"Aren't you curious about your identity?"

Ling Bai stopped and looked back at Lupin with a calm and cold look.

"You have to be curious to be alive. I always think that curiosity kills the cat is very true. You can spend your life in confusion, but when you know clearly who you are, you will have a mission, and that mission may cost me my life."

Lupin looked at Ling Bai's back in a daze as he disappeared from his sight, then he looked up at the sky.

"James, your child is really not like you. What would you do if you knew your child would become like this? But maybe if you were still here, they wouldn't be unable to see each other."

Ling Bai met Snape on the way back. Snape looked at Ling Bai with red eyes and a forbearing look, and immediately walked forward quickly.

"What's wrong? Who bullied you?"

Ling Bai bit his lip and shook his head like a rattle.

"Don't bite your mouth"

Snape clamped Ling Bai's chin with his big hand and squeezed it slightly, forcing Ling Bai's mouth to open. Snape saw the obvious teeth marks on Ling Bai's lips and beads of blood oozing out, and his brows furrowed fiercely.

"Let's go get the medicine."

In Snape's lounge, Snape was looking for medicine to treat his wounds, while Ling Bai curled up on the sofa, hugging a fluffy pillow.

Ling Bai got this pillow when he fell asleep on the sofa one time. After waking up, he felt very uncomfortable and casually said that he would not feel so uncomfortable if he had a pillow to hug.

Snape didn't say anything at the time, but when Ling Bai came again the next day, this furry pillow appeared on the sofa.

The pillow is in the shape of a black and white kitten, which doesn't fit in with the entire lounge.

However, there are already many out-of-place things in Snape's lounge now, such as wind chimes on the window, small flowers on the windowsill, and cute decorations on the table.

These little things make this cold and dark lounge warm and cozy.

Most of the things here were done by Ling Bai, and Snape indulged Ling Bai in everything he did.

Ling Bai curled up into a small ball. Oriental people have petite skeletons to begin with, so he looked even more pitiful.

Snape sat next to Ling Bai, pinched Ling Bai's face, made Ling Bai face him, then dipped a cotton swab in some medicine and applied it on Ling Bai's injured lips.

"Tell me, what's going on?"

"Professor, can you tell me who I am?"

Snape paused.

"Lupin told you."

Ling Bai didn't say anything, obviously he was silent, and Snape clenched his fists slightly.

Damn Lupin, damn it.

"Don't listen to him, he's just an idiot who knows nothing."

"But professor, I feel like I'm being excluded by everyone. It seems like all of you know a secret that only I don't know."

Ling Bai buried his face in Snape's arms, ignoring Snape's somewhat stiff body, and spoke in a choked voice.

"Obviously, obviously I am trying very hard to be liked by everyone and hope to be treated honestly by everyone, but why is it so difficult?"

The boy's crying was so soft, so soft that it was barely audible, but it made Snape's heart ache.

There was a slight wetness on his chest, which was soaked with tears. Snape's hand gently rested on Ling Bai's back, patting and comforting him.

Ling Bai stopped crying and Snape's body felt numb.

After maintaining this posture for so long, my body began to complain of discomfort.

However, Snape naturally ignored his body's cries. He gently picked up Ling Bai, only to find that Ling Bai had fallen asleep.

There are still some teardrops on the curled eyelashes.

Snape carried him into the small bed in the lounge and just put Ling Bai down.

His body protested being ignored and suddenly went limp, falling onto the bed.

Fortunately, Snape used his arms to support himself in time and did not hit Ling Bai.
