Harry Potter: Impossibly Cute

Chapter 6 Entrance Ceremony

Tom's pale, bony hands rhythmically stroked the head of the person resting on his legs.

He was so absorbed in his thoughts that he forgot to talk to Ling Bai for a moment. However, Ling Bai did not speak either. He just narrowed his eyes slightly, and his upturned peach blossom eyes curved into crescents, just like a cat that was being served comfortably by its owner.

Tom came back to his senses when he heard the person in his arms humming comfortably.

He couldn't help but smile, as he remembered that the kid really liked people stroking his head and chin.

Just like a little pet in the Muggle world.

Hearing the chuckle, Ling Bai's body stiffened and he quickly realized that he had embarrassed himself again.

Although he belongs to the canine family, some of his behavioral habits are very similar to those of a cat, so he also likes to be petted.

A faint blush appeared on her fair cheeks.

"Father, what do you want to tell me?"

Tom was stunned for a moment, then he realized that he was so engrossed in his thoughts that he forgot to say it.

“This may be hard for you to accept, but you have the right to know.”

Tom slightly beautified the comments about himself from the outside world and told Ling Bai about them.

Ling Bai is not really an eleven-year-old child.

Not to mention that he is someone who knows the development of this world. Ling Bai couldn't help but smile as he listened to Tom's tactful words.

It turns out that even the great Dark Lord can speak so tactfully.

After Tom finished speaking, there was a hint of nervousness in his eyes that was hard to conceal.

He couldn't deny that he was a little scared.

There was deep shock in her beautiful phoenix eyes, which then turned into resentment.

"How can they generalize like that, Father?"

There was heartache in Ling Bai's eyes. He sat up, put his head close to Tom's chest, and hugged him tightly.

"No matter what the outside world thinks of you, father, I am your eternal child and I will always stand by your side"

Tom felt a warm current slowly spreading from his heart to every corner of his body.

Little did he know that the obedient little fox nestled in his arms revealed a cunning smile at this time.

No matter how reluctant Tom was, the day of school started finally arrived.

Ling Bai and Draco were sitting in the carriage, along with Draco's two followers.

Draco was still somewhat excited about the upcoming campus life.

"Ling Bai, have you heard about the boy who survived the disaster?"

Draco deliberately lowered his voice, his eyes looking around with a nervous look on his face.

His father had warned him not to mention this person in front of Ling Bai, but Draco thought he would see him again when school started soon.

So it probably doesn’t matter now.

Ling Bai then withdrew his gaze from the scenery outside and fixed it on Draco.

"The Boy-Who-Lived?"

The slightly rising tone of his voice expressed his doubts.

"yes"

Draco whispered this into Ling Bai's ear.

Ling Bai raised his eyebrows slightly.

"Draco wants to be friends with him?"

The boy's cheeks turned red, revealing some embarrassment of being exposed.

But his mouth was still very stubborn.

"Who wants to be friends with him? I just thought that since he's a pureblood, maybe we could have something to talk about."

Ling Bai smiled faintly and reached out to touch Draco's little head.

He still remembered when he first met Draco, the little guy always combed his hair and pretended to be an adult.

But at this moment, Draco had soft and fluffy blond hair.

Draco blushed, he subconsciously glanced at his two followers, and then spoke in a low voice.

"Can you please stop rubbing my head in front of others? It makes me look so embarrassed."

Ling Bai really couldn't help laughing out loud, but still nodded in response.

The train slowly stopped and all the students got off.

After arriving at Hogwarts by boat and meeting Professor McGonagall, Ling Bai clearly felt McGonagall's scrutiny.

It seems that this identity has brought me a lot of attention.

Ling Bai saw the familiar person.

Compared to his calmness, Harry could hardly conceal his surprise and joy.

Draco stretched out his hand and waited for a long time but got no response, and his expression immediately became unhappy.

"Draco"

Ling Bai called out to Draco in a low voice, and Draco snorted coldly.

"Okay, for your sake."

"Ling Bai"

Looking at the two people leaving, Harry couldn't help but speak.

When two pairs of similar green eyes met, Harry was slightly stunned.

A strange and absurd thought came into Harry's mind.

Ling Bai's eyes seemed to be similar to his own, as if there was some special connection between them.

But Harry quickly suppressed this thought.

How could I compare to Ling Bai, he was so handsome and gentle.

Ling Bai smiled at Harry and took Draco away.

Harry was still immersed in his own thoughts when someone suddenly patted his shoulder.

Harry turned around and saw Ron, the friend he made in the car today.

“You know that guy”

The person Ron was referring to was naturally Ling Bai.

"He is so handsome, just like a doll, but he can walk with that evil Malfoy, so he is not someone to be messed with."

Harry subconsciously wanted to refute, but when he opened his mouth he didn't know what to say.

After all, he really didn't know Ling Bai very well.

“He’s very easy to get along with.”

After thinking a lot, I finally said just this.

Ron shrugged.

"Maybe"

Professor McGonagall reappeared and led everyone into the cafeteria.

The magnificent and spacious cafeteria, and the teachers sitting in the main seats.

Ling Bai's gaze met a pair of cold and deep eyes.

Ling Bai saw surprise, disbelief, and a hint of expectation in the other person's eyes.

Of course Ling Bai knew who this person was.

Tall and thin, with straight black hair, pale skin and black robes.

This was a very popular character in his previous world.

Severus Snape, a man on the edge of contradiction.

A person who was abandoned by love but kept his promise.

A hero who surrounds his heart with indifference.

Ling Bai had to admit that he was indeed attracted to this character.

He still remembered that the human who recommended this book to him said confidently that no one who had read this book would fail to love Professor Snape.

Next came the speech by Headmaster Dumbledore, and then the assignment of colleges.

"Ling Bai, which college do you want to go to? Come with me to Slytherin."

Ling Bai shook his head.

"I'd rather go to Ravenclaw"

"Ah, why, a place full of nerds"

Ling Bai immediately covered Draco's mouth and made a gesture to keep quiet.

"If anyone from Ravenclaw hears this, you'll be in big trouble."

Draco pouted, but nodded.
