Harry Potter: Impossibly Cute

Chapter 72 Smoothing the Angry Dragon

Strange fragments suddenly came from his memory, and Ling Bai rubbed his temples.

The clip flashed by and Ling Bai couldn't catch it at all.

Ling Bai's expression looked a little unhappy. He felt that these memories were very important to him.

Just then, a gust of wind blew through the leaves.

The bells tied with red ropes on the leaves suddenly rang.

Ling Bai felt his body lighten, and he felt himself hanging in mid-air, and then falling to the ground.

Ling Bai saw that his field of vision had suddenly become much shorter, so he lowered his head to look.

Then I saw a pair of furry white paws.

Ling Bai's eyes lit up and he ran twice quickly.

As expected, he changed into the form of a fox.

Ling Bai immediately trotted towards the stream in front.

His figure was reflected in the stream, and Ling Bai was slightly stunned.

This seems to be the appearance of myself when I was a young fox.

But it has been so long that Ling Bai doesn’t have a very clear impression.

Ling Bai suddenly felt that his body was somewhat out of control and ran towards the big tree.

Ling Bai ran to the tree, lay down, licked his fur, and actually felt sleepy, and gradually closed his eyes.

Faintly, it seemed as if a big warm hand was gently brushing his back.

Ling Bai's body instinctively rubbed his head against the big hand affectionately.

Someone seemed to chuckle.

"Little darling, come back early"

When he opened his eyes again, Ling Bai found himself in a familiar room.

Ling Bai frowned slightly.

The dream I had last night was definitely not a coincidence.

But what does that dream represent? Who is the person who spoke at the end?

Ling Bai suddenly felt that there was a road full of question marks in front of him.

Ling Bai adjusted his mood a little before going downstairs.

Downstairs, Tom was still busy in the kitchen wearing the familiar apron.

"Morning, baby"

Ling Bai snorted coldly and looked at Tom with shame and annoyance.

"abnormal"

"Yes, yes, baby, come down and eat."

Ling Bai hesitated for a moment, but still went downstairs.

No matter what, you can't starve yourself.

"I made my baby's favorite food today, eat more."

Ling Bai and Tom's relationship continued in such a strange way.

Tom himself knew very well that it was already very good to be able to maintain this situation.

Their relationship could only be eased after everything was resolved and he apologized to Harry.

This made Tom think of his plan again.

Looks like a change of plans is needed.

The next afternoon, Ling Bai took the initiative to suggest going to Malfoy Manor.

Tom hesitated for two seconds, but finally agreed.

After all, he had made a boastful promise to the other party.

At Malfoy Manor, Ling Bai hadn't seen Draco for a whole holiday and found that he had lost a lot of weight and grown a lot taller.

Wearing a black suit, he looks like an adult.

"Draco"

As soon as Ling Bai saw Draco, he was hugged by someone.

"Do you know how long I have been looking for you? Do you know how worried I am about you? I am afraid that you will not have enough to eat or wear, or that you will encounter danger outside?"

Draco's voice became more choked up as he spoke.

Ling Bai reached out and patted Draco on the back.

"I'm sorry, Draco, I didn't consider your feelings. It's my fault."

"I know, I know everything. No matter who you really are or whose brother you are, it makes no difference to me. I just know that you are Ling Bai, and that's enough."

Ling Bai looked into those clear eyes, feeling a little touched.

"Thank you Draco"

"But I'm still very angry. Don't you consider me a friend at all? Why didn't you tell me?"

"I just don't know how to say it to Draco. I'm confused and at a loss."

Draco still sighed, his eyes full of pain.

"I know, I know everything"

Draco's lips fell on Ling Bai's forehead.

"But no matter what, you have to believe me. No matter what happens, I will stand by you."

Ling Bai burst into laughter.

"Thank you Draco, it's nice to meet you."

Ling Bai buried his head in Draco's arms.

Feeling the long-lost hug, Draco heard the sound of his heart beating wildly.

"Ling Bai"

Draco's voice was dry.

"Ok?"

"You and that adult, has he ever bullied you? Has he ever done anything excessive to you?"

Draco always kept in mind the marks he found on Ling Bai that day.

After hesitating for a long time, he decided to ask.

Ling Bai suddenly fell silent.

Ling Bai's silence made Draco feel like he was being roasted on a grill.

"Ling Bai, tell me seriously"

"Draco, stop asking."

A trace of pain flashed across Ling Bai's face, and he turned his face away, not letting Draco look at him, nor letting himself see him.

"No, Ling Bai, tell me."

"What's the harm in telling you, Draco? You are a member of the Malfoy family. You have your own mission. I can't let you down."

Draco was silent. Yes, what would it matter if he knew the truth?

Moreover, his behavior was just adding salt to the wound on Ling Bai.

But he was really unwilling.

"Then, Ling Bai, at least tell me, has he ever hurt you, has he ever forced you in any substantial way?"

Ling Bai shook his head.

"He never hurt me Draco"

Draco breathed a sigh of relief at first, but then endless sourness spread.

“Then you volunteered.”

Ling Bai turned his head away and didn't look at Draco.

Draco suddenly thought of Ling Bai last semester.

He forgot that Ling Bai knew nothing about this, and Tom must have taken advantage of his innocence to do that to him.

Draco cracked his finger bones.

"Ling Bai, I'm very powerful now. My father said that my current mastery of magic can be compared with that of graduates. Believe me, I will definitely protect you well."

Ling Bai reached out and touched Draco's head.

"I know Draco has always been great, and I have always believed in Draco"

Draco couldn't help himself and moved closer to those beautiful red lips.

Ling Bai was surprised at first when his lips were suddenly blocked, then he slowly relaxed his body.

Draco was delighted, wondering if this meant that Ling Bai didn't hate his touch.

Draco held the back of Ling Bai's head with his big hands and intensified the kiss.

The temperature in the air gradually rose until there was a knock on the door.

"Draco, Ling Bai, are you in there?"

It was Narcissa's voice.

Draco then reluctantly let go of Ling Bai, and both of them were breathing rapidly.

Draco took two steadying breaths.

"Yes, Mom, what's wrong?"

"Oh, nothing, I made some snacks and wanted to give them to you to try."

"Ok"

Draco quickly got out of bed and opened the door.

Draco only opened a small gap, completely covering Ling Bai on the bed.

Narcissa's gaze stayed on Draco's face for a few seconds before she smiled and handed the cake in her hand to Draco.
