Harry Potter: Impossibly Cute

Chapter 9 Draco Sulks

"Ling Bai, why did you go to Slytherin? You should be more suitable for Gryffindor."

Harry's watery green eyes were filled with a look of loss.

"Does it matter, Harry? Will you judge me based on what house I am from?"

"of course not"

Harry quickly retorted. He didn't want Ling Bai to misunderstand anything. Ling Bai was the first person to show kindness to him. He believed that Ling Bai would not be the person Ron described.

"That's great, Harry, no matter what, we are friends, okay?"

Harry looked into those beautiful eyes and felt a little dizzy.

As soon as Ling Bai returned to the lounge, he saw the little person sitting beside his bed. Even though he was back, the little person just glanced at him.

Without a word, the entire bedroom fell into silence.

Ling Bai understood that the child was angry.

"Draco"

Ling Bai walked to the bed and just sat down, Draco moved his body a little further away from Ling Bai.

Ling Bai raised his eyebrows, a smile flashing in his eyes.

Move closer to Draco again.

So the two kids moved back and forth like this, one closer and the other farther away, until Draco's body was pressed tightly against the head of the bed and he could no longer move back, so he immediately raised his head, revealing a pair of red eyes that looked obviously aggrieved but pretending to be fierce.

"What are you doing?"

Now it was Ling Bai's turn to be confused. Draco looked like he had obviously cried, but why was he crying? Ling Bai was puzzled.

"Draco, you're crying."

"No, I didn't. What are you doing here? Why don't you go accompany that great savior? Aren't you guys on good terms?"

Draco became angrier as he spoke, and his mood, which had originally calmed down, began to surge again.

But just when he was so angry, he heard laughter.

Draco's eyes widened, accusations written all over them.

"What are you laughing at, am I funny?"

Seeing that the other person was really angry, Ling Bai quickly stopped smiling. He moved closer to Draco, and his watery eyes met Draco's, allowing Draco to see the serious look in his eyes.

"Draco, the things between Harry and I are hard to explain for the time being, but don't worry, no one can replace you in my heart."

Draco was stunned for a moment, and his originally angry expression instantly turned into daze.

"Draco, I was inconsiderate and didn't understand your feelings today. I apologize to you, okay?"

Ling Bai put his head close to Draco's head, which was his little habit to express friendliness.

"real"

Draco still looked a little suspicious, but in his heart he had already forgiven Ling Bai.

"Of course, I swear."

Draco's expression softened.

"Okay, I'll trust you, but only reluctantly."

Ling Bai smiled and reached out to wipe the corners of Draco's eyes.

The sweet fragrance penetrated into Draco's nostrils, and he obediently let Ling Bai stroke him, just like a cat.

All that’s missing is a comfortable purring sound coming from the throat.

"Draco, can you do me a favor?"

Draco nodded.

"Draco, don't tell anyone about the fact that Harry and I knew each other before, whether it's your father or your mother."

"why"

"Draco, please."

Draco was the last one who could refuse Ling Bai's request, so he nodded without caring and agreed.

At lunch time, Draco was called away early by two followers, and Ling Bai was a little late.

As a result, he was bumped by someone as soon as he walked into the cafeteria. The other person was taller and heavier than him, and Ling Bai was caught off guard. He lost his balance and fell to the ground. Fortunately, the man grabbed him in time.

"Sorry, I didn't see you"

Ling Bai looked up and saw the typical symbol of the Weasley family.

Red hair.

"It's okay Percy."

Percy was stunned, with surprise in his eyes that he could hardly hide.

“You know my name”

"Yes, the Gryffindor prefect."

Percy looked at the boy in front of him who had caused everyone to talk about him since he entered school.

Although most of the discussion is due to his last name, it is undeniable that the young man in front of us is also worthy of discussion.

"Okay, I'm so sorry Gaunt."

"You've apologized twice. It seems your personality is just like the rumors say."

"Rumor has it? What is my personality like in the rumors?"

"Want to know?"

Ling Bai suddenly gave a cunning smile.

Percy nodded seriously.

"Okay, senior, but I don't want to tell you."

"why"

"because……"

Before Ling Bai could finish, a voice interrupted him.

"Percy"

The two looked in the direction of the sound and saw Harry and his trio.

"Why are you here?"

Ron was the first to retort, as he always does.

However, Ling Bai still likes this young boy very much.

After all, who would refuse a puppy that often makes mistakes but is cute and pleasing?

"Hello"

"Ron"

Harry pulled Ron's clothes and gave Ling Bai an apologetic smile.

Ling Bai also smiled back.

"Harry, don't be fooled by his appearance. Although he looks very handsome, he is from Slytherin."

"Ron, Ling Bai is different from others"

Ron snorted.

"It seems that you have a lot of opinions about me. May I ask if I have done anything wrong?"

Ling Bai blinked his big innocent eyes and just looked at Ron.

Ron and Ling Bai looked at each other and were slightly stunned.

"You and I……"

He hemmed and hawed for a long time but couldn't say anything.

"Okay, you guys aren't going to have lunch yet? Then I'm leaving."

Hermione finally couldn't help but speak. Harry was pulled away and secretly looked back at Ling Bai.

Ling Bai also found Draco.

"Why are you so late?"

“Something went wrong on the way”

"Is this a problem? Do you need help?"

Ling Bai couldn't help but smile when he saw how Draco, a small person, was pretending to speak like an adult.

“No, it’s not a big deal.”

Draco nodded.

Halfway through the meal, an owl hooted, followed by a flock of owls flying in.

“It’s a letter from my father.”

Ling Bai looked at the envelope that fell in front of him.

Draco finished reading his letter and then looked at Ling Bai.

"Ling Bai, why don't you open it?"

"nothing"

Draco suddenly remembered what his father had told him before he left.

Build a good relationship with Ling Bai, but don't get involved too much in his affairs.

Draco had no choice but to suppress his curiosity.

Ling Bai returned to the dormitory and opened his letter.

Tom first asked about his well-being and briefly asked about his situation.

Ling Bai's eyes swept across it and finally landed on the final words of advice.

No matter what happens, keep yourself safe.

Ling Bai put away the letter, but the doubts in his mind could not be answered.
