Chapter 36 Fear Comes

Edith stopped Kyle who was about to leave, stretched out his hand, and a green ring appeared out of thin air.

Edith said: "This is an emerald ring. It can disguise yourself. As long as you don't use witchcraft, even a formal wizard cannot see through it. It is a magical item used during my apprenticeship."

"take it"

"Teach me" Kyle looked at the jade ring with some confusion.

Edith put it directly in Kyle's hand.

The contact between fingers made Kyle's whole body tremble.

Edith's fingers were very cold, and the touch between her fingers was like a piece of cold jade.

"Take it with you, I won't need it now. Remember to cook for me next time you come back," Edith asked.

"Got it" Kyle choked and turned around, not letting Edith see his red eyes.

Stepping out of the wizard tower, I looked at the emerald ring on my finger. Even formal wizards couldn't detect the camouflage ability. One can imagine how useful it can be if used well.

In some special times, such as in magic stone veins, there is such a place.

Returning to the dormitory, I thought about how it had been almost a year since I traveled back in time, and I didn’t have a single friend, except for the lucky chance I had of meeting Instructor Edith.

That's good, Kyle doesn't have to say goodbye to anyone except his mentor.

Early the next morning, Kyle was riding on a black wildebeest, wearing a black robe, and his head was completely covered by a hood.

The black wildebeest gallops towards the north

The wildebeest is very strong and looks like a black tiger from a distance. The wildebeest was bought by Kyle from another wizard apprentice.

Wizard apprentices who go on missions usually ride these wildebeests that have been modified by blood.

It has strong endurance and recovers quickly. For apprentices who cannot fly yet, it is a good means of transportation for long journeys.

Going all the way north, there were no large monsters on the road, and they had basically been cleared away by the towers.

It was also the first time for Kyle to come out to see this strange world. The original owner's family could go back and have a look when they had time, but the family seemed to be in the south.

The speed of the wildebeest is not slow, probably equivalent to driving about 80 yards in the previous life, but it is just not very comfortable to ride.

If Kyle hadn't been promoted to second-class apprentice and his physical fitness had also improved a lot, Kyle believed that he would have died on his horse before he reached the magic stone vein.

Basically, the location of Dawn Tower is not bad, surrounded by Mandera Forest and Elemental Mountains, and there are no hostile forces around it, except of course the dark wizard forces in the far north.

The wizarding world is basically similar to a virgin forest. If it weren't for the existence of a positioning map, Kyle thinks he would have been lost.

The surrounding greenery is not much different from the original world, except that the flowers, plants and trees are taller and stranger. Some animals look familiar, but they are not sure to be the same species.

We were basically rushing along the way. When the wildebeest got tired, we stopped to set up camp.

That night, Kyle, who was sleeping soundly in the tent, suddenly opened his eyes. He felt an indescribable palpitation in his heart. Kyle felt a sense of being spied on, and his eyes wandered around him. Kyle felt that the eyes fell on him. Sometimes, bad things happen.

Just as Kyle was about to escape back to the world of Harry Potter, the space-time energy in the top decreased sharply, and then blocked everything related to Kyle around him.

The unfamiliar gaze swept across Kyle's side, and then disappeared in an instant.

In a black wizard tower, there is a middle-aged wizard wearing a black wizard robe, with white eyes embroidered on the black robe. "Cough, cough"

The middle-aged male wizard opened his eyes with a pale face. "Why can't you find it? How can you not find another one?" The middle-aged male wizard roared with a ferocious face, "Damn mouse, I will definitely find you, but in Before that, let me go take a look at the other two little mice."

The middle-aged male wizard smiled sinisterly

In a huge witch formation, a middle-aged wizard stood in the center, constantly taking out precious witchcraft materials from the space ring in his hand.

The corpses of unknown monsters, wizards, eyes, and animal entrails all exuded the aura of an official wizard.

When the middle-aged male wizard took out a black bone, a trace of physical pain flashed in his eyes. "Oh, damn, sewer rats."

The middle-aged male wizard stood in the center of the witch formation with his eyes closed, chanting incantations constantly. The corpses on the witch formation, including the black bones, all began to melt.

Slowly, these sacrifices turned into puffs of black smoke, and the black smoke slowly enveloped the middle-aged male wizard.

Bud's dormitory was filled with various plants, and Bud carefully took care of a thorn. "Bard, Bard" is like the whisper of the evil god, calling Bard's name

Bud put down the plant in his hand with a somewhat uncomfortable look on his face and looked around the dormitory, but found nothing.

A stream of black smoke silently swam up along the soles of Bud's feet, and then turned into a huge black skeleton and swallowed Bud in one gulp.

Bud was so soft that he fell to the ground. A small stream of black smoke escaped from Bud's ears and nostrils from time to time, and then got in again.

The world was spinning for a while, and Bard was horrified to find that he was being held in the hands of a black smoke giant. "Who are you, where are you?" Bard asked in fear, "Damn thing, tell me who else killed my son with you." The middle-aged wizard composed of black smoke roared towards Bard. "Haha" Bard looked at the black smoke giant with a sad smile. "I knew there might be such a day, but I didn't expect it to come so soon. There are some of us who you can't find out, hehe, that's good, that's good."

The middle-aged wizard looked at Bard giving up on treatment and accepting his fate, with a trace of surprise in his eyes.

The middle-aged wizard never expected that Bard had no desire to survive, and said angrily: "Little mouse, as long as you reveal the identities of other people, I will give you a happy life, otherwise you will not be able to imagine that your soul will be destroyed bit by bit. Point, the feeling of being slowly eaten away." "Haha, contract." Bard murmured, closed his eyes, and a sad smile appeared at the corner of his mouth. "What, little mouse, what did you say, what?"

The black smoke kept squeezing Bud, and Bud remained silent.

"Dirty rat, enjoy your last moments."

The black smoke giant collapsed, and the black smoke turned into a hot spark, wrapping Bard in it, slowly eroding Bard from the surface, just like Bard was melting little by little.

"Ah" a tearing scream came from Bard's mouth. This kind of pain could not be stopped. Bard was always awake, watching himself being slowly corroded, and feeling the feeling of being corroded little by little.

The middle-aged wizard in mid-air listened happily to Bard's roar and scream from his soul.
