Hogwarts changes

Chapter 6 First contact with the magical world

Nothing in the night

The sky has just begun to light up slightly, and the boats on the Thames River have already begun to pass through.

"Hoo, boo, hoo, boo"

As the hour hand turned, the sun rose, and the golden sunlight shone through the yellow curtains on Kyle's room, giving the room a dim yellow color.

Kyle slept soundly on the soft big bed

"Kyle, Kyle, bump, bump"

Kyle was confused and struggled to open his eyes.

"Unfamiliar ceiling"

"Kyle, Kyle, open the door quickly, the owl is here" Hermione knocked on the door excitedly.

"owl"

Kyle was a little confused.

"Oh, by the way, the spell book should be here."

Kyle came to his senses instantly and quickly got up and got dressed.

"Here we go, open the door for you right away and let me get dressed."

"Hurry up. I'm going back to my room first. You can come find me later."

Kyle put on his pants, looked for his shirt, and replied: "I got it."

Without washing his face or brushing his teeth, he ran directly to Hermione's room.

As soon as he entered the room, he saw that Hermione's bed was piled with black books, and each book had beautiful patterns on it.

Hermione was holding a book and sitting on the ground, reading it seriously.

"Hermione, are these the textbooks we need for school?"

Kyle asked as he picked up a book.

"Yes, the books are all here, and some other cauldrons and the like will be delivered in the afternoon," Hermione replied.

"Theories of Magic"

Kyle opened it casually and looked at the theoretical knowledge of some witchcraft that the first grade will master.

Kyle flipped through the books on the bed, looking for the spell book, but couldn't find it, okay?

Turning around and taking a closer look, it turned out that Hermione was holding a basic, standard spell.

"Hermione, can you show me the spell book you have?"

"certainly"

Hermione handed the book to Kyle.

"Thank you"

Kyle opened the elementary spell book in his hand with some excitement.

Looking at the first spell in the book, Kyle couldn't help but speak out.

"Wingardim Leviosa" is a levitation spell that causes objects to float in the air.

Kyle continued to look down and found that fortunately, there were not many spells that the first grade needed to learn.

After writing everything down, Kyle felt that there was nothing wrong with him, but he just couldn't practice spells. When Professor McGonagall left, he specifically told Kyle and Hermione.

After taking a brief look at it, Kyle returned the spell book to Hermione.

"I'm going to wash up first and I'll come find you later."

"Go on, go on, it's so verbose"

The novelty of magic had completely fascinated Hermione, and of course Kyle too.

He quickly brushed his teeth and washed his face, then returned to Hermione's room and looked at the first grade textbook.

Standard Spells, by Miranda Gorshak, Junior

A History of Magic by Bathilda Bagshot

The Theory of Magic by Adebe Wulfling

Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration by Emery Switch

A Thousand Miracle Herbs by Phyllida Spohr

Magic Potions and Potions by Arsene Giger

Monsters and Where to Find Them by Newt Scamman

Dark Powers: A Guide to Self-Defense by Quentin Trimble

These are roughly the lessons Kyle will need to take in first grade.

Kyle planned to read the book Magic Theory first. After all, if you want to learn magic, you must first know the origin of the spell.

But it turned out that Kyle was overthinking. The entire magic theory book did not even introduce the origin of the spell or how it was created. The whole book was just about how safe and effective white magic is, and how evil and dangerous black magic is. Little wizards must remember that dark wizards are extremely evil.

It was all nonsense to Kyle. Whether it was black magic or white magic, as long as it was practical, Kyle wouldn't mind at all the difference between black and white magic.

As for whether the black wizard and the white wizard are evil, Kyle has his own criteria for judgment.

As human beings in two lives, judging whether a wizard is good or bad cannot of course be judged by magic. This depends on the person.

Although it was not unexpected, after all, in the entire wizarding world, the black wizard was a notorious existence.

What's more, Hogwarts is now the representative of the White Wizard, with the famous Dumbledore serving as the principal.

Brainwashing should start from a young age

There is not a single dark wizard in the entire Hogwarts, and of course our tragic half-blood prince, Snape, is not included.

Put down your magic theory and pick up the Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration.

Kyle's favorite part of the course, besides Charms, was the Transfiguration Spell. After all, Kyle was still very curious about the famous Animagus.

The advanced transformation spell can temporarily turn inanimate things into living objects. This is equivalent to an alternative form of creating life. In fact, according to Kyle's understanding, it should involve something about the essence of life.

This is also the most complicated subject for Kyle, right?

The first sentence of the Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration reads, "Transfiguration is the most complex and dangerous spell you will learn at Hogwarts. Please learn it with caution, Minerva McGonagall."

Kyle calmed down his excitement and read Transfiguration seriously.

The hour hand unknowingly turned around again.

"Kyle, Hermione, come down for dinner," Mrs. Granger called from downstairs.

Hermione's house is a two-story small mansion. The Grangers are both dentists and their income is pretty good.

Kyle and Hermione reluctantly raised their heads, looked at each other, and saw the displeasure in each other's eyes.

They couldn't help but laugh. The charm of magic made Kyle and Hermione completely immersed in the world of magic.

After all, it opens the door to a new world.

"Kyle, Hermione"

"I know, Mummy" Hermione agreed.

The two of them went down the stairs one after the other.

At the dinner table, Hermione was excitedly discussing with the Grangers. Although the Grangers didn't understand the curse they had just watched, seeing Hermione's happy face made the two adults very happy too.

In their hearts, whether they understand it or not, the important thing is that Hermione is happy.

"Kyle, eat your dinner quickly and politely."

Hermione looked at Kyle and said unhappily: "Kyle, why are you eating so fast, and without saying a word, you asked whether those spells are magical."

Kyle slowly swallowed the small piece of bread in his mouth and said: "I want to finish it quickly and go back to read Transfiguration."

"Wow, Kyle, you are so cunning, I have to eat it quickly too"

Kyle couldn't help but rolled his eyes after hearing this.

If you eat it quickly, you will be cunning. Hermione's logic is really hard to understand.

The Grangers looked at Kyle and Hermione arguing in amusement and shrugged at each other.

"I've finished eating. Thank you for the hospitality. I'll go up first."

Kyle politely put away his dishes.

Run upstairs.

"I've finished eating too, cunning Kyle, wait for me" Hermione shouted behind Kyle.
