Chapter 45 East District Gang (please recommend)

"The country is in chaos."

Tavern owner Allen said with a serious face.

"Since the last words of Pirate King Roger three years ago, countless people have gone to sea to become pirates, and pirates are rampant on the sea."

"There is no order on the sea, it is full of chaos, and it will naturally become more and more difficult to do business."

Arthur nodded, understanding what Allen meant.

It is difficult to do business, which can be said to be a devastating blow to the Merigian Kingdom, a country that mainly focuses on commerce.

"There are more and more pirates, and they are getting bolder and bolder. Even though our kingdom has a naval branch stationed there, pirates frequently plunder the villages outside the city."

Arthur lowered his head and took another sip of the spicy cherry brandy.

"A large number of merchant ships have been robbed, and ordinary people are afraid to go to sea."

Allen put down the cleaned wine glass, sighed softly, then looked at Arthur who seemed to have some background, and continued:

"No matter what, due to the influence of the Great Pirate Era, there are a large number of unemployed people with no income in our kingdom."

"If we can't take the normal path, we have to take a crooked path."

Allen took out a glass, poured himself a glass of ale, and drank it in a gulp.

"So now there are more and more gangs, and they are becoming more and more blatant. They hire murderers, kidnap and extort, and force girls into prostitution. They do whatever it takes to make money."

"The East District is very chaotic right now. You'd better be careful. If you can, try to settle in other districts."

Allen put down his glass and suggested to Arthur.

"We just walked around, I think it's not bad." Arthur raised his head and said with a smile.

"It's too early now. Those bad boys are still bullying people in their sleep. You will know after a while."

Allen turned his head, looked outside through the large window of the pub, shook his head and said.

"Forget it, let me first give you a brief introduction to the gangs here. If you want to live here, the gangs cannot be bypassed."

Arthur nodded. In this world where force is paramount, any violent institution is the first step to understand.

Allen raised his glass again and took a sip of ale. "We probably have some gangsters in the East District"

"The most famous and disciplined among them is the Rose Garden. They mainly control and manage Blood Rose Street and the surrounding area. They operate the Red Rose Fair, three gambling houses and two pubs."

"They are the gang with the largest number of people. There are more than 300 people. They can be said to be the number one gang in the East District."

"Their boss, Lucian Nobile, is said to be a powerful swordsman, and he has many subordinates who practice swordsmanship with him."

Allen took another sip of ale and continued the introduction.

"The most dangerous and cruel ones are the sewer reapers. The labyrinth-like sewer system is their home base. They are elusive and specialize in kidnapping, extortion and collecting money to kill people. They are a group of desperadoes that are not easy to mess with."

"They are agile and capable of doing anything. Their boss, John the One-Eyed Wolf, is a death row prisoner who has committed a heinous crime. His reward of 800 million beli is still hanging at the door of the Sheriff's Department."

"There are also villains who work alone and do lawless things. They are mostly burly men, wearing top hats stuffed with wool, carrying a big stick in their hands, and a flintlock gun stuck at their waist. Remember to meet them. They go further away, these villains are the best at finding trouble."

Allen's words were full of contempt.

"They don't have a boss. They all work alone. They are very arrogant because of their own strength."

"The last one is the Baby Care Gang." Allen frowned, with a hint of coldness in his eyes.

"This gang controls the red light streets in the East End. They lock up girls for rape, then force them to give birth to children, and then use the children to control the girls who become mothers and force them into prostitution to make money,"

"The children will also be raised and trained by them. When they are more than ten years old, they will be arranged to kill people and eventually become underage killers under their command."

"Their boss is Ridrolla, a vicious woman who will do whatever it takes."

"There are also many small gangs, I won't go into details with you."

Allen drank the last sip of wine, put down the glass, and looked at Arthur.

Rose Garden, Sewer Death, Villain Gang, Nursery Gang, plus some smaller gangs

Is a small East District so chaotic? Arthur frowned.

"Hey, I'm talking about Allen, did you miss one less?"

A somewhat unhappy and lazy voice came from behind again. Arthur turned his head and saw that the gangster youth in the corner had put down his wine glass, straddling his right leg on a stool on the side, and looked at the tavern owner with dissatisfaction.

"Armstrong, are you talking about your joke of the Justice Gang?"

The boss, Allen, was true to his word. He put his hands on the bar and looked at the young man with a sneer.

"You said you are a gangster, then tell me, do you charge protection money?"

Within the gang's sphere of influence, every household must pay a certain amount of protection fees in order to live a peaceful life without being harassed.

Gangs also use this to make money. It can be said that protection fees are the most basic income for gangs, and it is also one of the most basic reasons why gangs desire and expand their territory.

Gangster youth Armstrong blushed and said loudly: "We, the Justice Gang, are not here to collect protection fees and bully others."

"We are here to protect everyone"

Then he sighed again and said with some hatred: "These hateful, dirty blood-sucking insects, one day, I will kill them all."

Arthur looked at the young man in a suit named Armstrong with some surprise.

Justice helps protect everyone

What an interesting ambition.

"If it weren't for the fact that you had a younger brother who was a lieutenant colonel, you would have been killed by them long ago."

"You still want to kill them? Stop talking nonsense here. How many people are there in your Justice Gang? Who else will join you now?"

Allen stared at Armstrong with his eyes and said mockingly.

My younger brother is a lieutenant commander in the navy

Arthur became interested, sipped the wine glass in his hand, and looked at Armstrong silently.

"How many people do you have in the Justice Gang? Who else will join you now?"

Hearing this question, Armstrong lowered his head subconsciously, staring blankly at the wooden floor of the tavern, his lips moved, and he was speechless.

From the original fifteen members of the Justice Gang, now there are only six members left including themselves. Most of the members died in gang fights or quit midway, and there have never been new members.

The staff is withering, no new people have joined, and the Justice Gang is weak. If you want to drive away other gangs, you are really deceiving yourself.
