Marvel's Necromancer

Chapter 1 Robbery (1)

New York, a certain neighborhood in Brooklyn.

At 8:30 in the morning, it was the rush hour for work. There were people coming and going at the intersection, and among the crowd, a young man stopped, dividing the crowd like a rock.

He was wearing a black leather jacket, carrying a large travel bag, and holding a husky mask in one hand. This young man, who seemed to be rushing to attend a party, was named Ivan.

Ivan stood at the intersection, as if waiting for someone. He took out his earphones with his free hand, put them on and pressed the play button. The electronic music was loud and the noisy crowd around him was isolated from him.

At the end of the block is a bank, a luxurious building built in the ancient Greek style. The pillars at the door are full of luxurious reliefs, showing off its strength to its customers all the time.

Next to the bank building is an office building that is much taller than it. Behind the glass windows of the office building, which is several floors higher than the bank's rooftop, two unknown people wearing animal masks are busy.

The man in the mouse mask took out a glass suction cup and a glass cutter from the travel bag at his feet. After fixing the suction cup, he tried to draw a large enough circle on the floor-to-ceiling window.

Frog Mask was assembling a hook gun nearby, and complained: "Why do you have to cut the glass? Can't you just smash it open?"

The mouse answered him without looking back: "He said that the broken glass and the noise might affect the plan."

Through the thick mask and the back of his head, the frog couldn't see the mouse's expression, so he closed his mouth and concentrated on the work at hand.

After a while, the mouse removed the glass and carefully set it aside. He looked back at the frog and said, "It's done."

The frog picked up the assembled hook gun, walked to the big hole in the floor-to-ceiling window, and fired the hook line to the rooftop of the bank building. The rope hanging from the hook flew towards the rooftop and was nailed into the concrete floor.

Seeing that the hook rope was fixed, the mouse stepped forward, grabbed the rope and tugged hard to make sure the rope was stable. The frog immediately dragged a luggage bag over and hung it on the zip line, and pushed it out hard.

"No problem." Seeing that the bag landed safely, the mouse hung up the last duffel bag and slid down first.

"Wow." The frog muttered mockingly, slowly putting on the safety gear. "Trapeze, so cool."

On the other side, Ivan finally waited for the person he was waiting for.

A gray, dilapidated van came quietly and stopped in front of him. Before the car could stop, the door with privacy film slid open.

Ivan lowered his head and quickly put on the husky mask, picked up the travel bag, got into the van without hesitation, and closed the door.

There were already three people sitting in the car wearing various masks, covering themselves tightly.

When the man in the fox mask saw Ivan get into the car, he stepped on the accelerator and drove the van towards the bank.

The rabbit mask in the co-pilot turned around and nodded to Ivan, then turned to the pig mask in the back seat and said, "Just the four of us?"

The fox focused on watching the road and answered the rabbit's question without looking back: "There is another one on the rooftop."

The rabbit turned to look at the fox's mask: "Five?" He repeated it again, with a reluctant tone, "Five people? In the end, we have to divide it into five parts?"

The obese man in the pig mask suddenly spoke up and interrupted the rabbit rudely: "It's six portions, and the person behind the scenes also wants one."

"He wants one too? Damn it, what did he do? Huh? Draw a simple picture? Use newspaper to spell words?" Rabbit became more and more excited as he talked and couldn't help shouting.

"Shut your mouth, 'he' does the most important job." The fox grabbed the steering wheel and casually defended the man behind the scenes.

Ivan scratched his face through the mask, turned down the music volume a little, and shrugged with his hands spread out at Rabbit, who was obviously still resentful.

"Have you ever heard of 'him' before? What does 'him' do?" Rabbit saw that no one was willing to answer him, so he was silent for a while, tugged on his collar, and asked the questions in his heart.

The fox didn't speak this time. He also wanted to know who was behind this elusive scene.

The pig scratched his plump butt, and his narrow eyes behind the mask flickered, as if he thought of something.

"We'll be there soon." The fox turned around and signaled, meaning: If you have something to say, say it quickly and don't harp.

"I've heard of it." Pig's fingers pressed on the mouth of the mask, and he glanced at Ivan, with some suspicion in his little eyes. "I heard people say"

No matter what you heard, it was fake news.

Ivan lost interest in continuing to listen, and pressed the volume button with his hand. Volume 3 covered the sound in the car. He turned his head and looked at the street outside the window, as if he suddenly became interested in the street outside.

Only the music echoed in my ears.

"Did you know there was a freak here?"

"Did you know there was a criminal over there?"

"Do you hear the footsteps of death approaching?"

"I advise you not to act rashly!"

"Quiet! we are bad guys."

On the other side, on the rooftop, the mouse was standing guard with a pistol, and the frog was squatting next to the circuit box, tapping away on his laptop, and was working on invading the bank system.

"Strange." The frog muttered, his voice was very low, but the mouse still heard it.

He leaned behind the frog and glanced at the screen, only to see a screen full of incomprehensible code.

"Their silent alarm line was not for the note and the address was a private residence."

"Is there a problem?" Mouse asked impatiently, not knowing what was going on.

"Um - no, it's done." Frog's fingers were flying, typing on the keyboard skillfully.

"Have you done it all?" Mouse lowered his head and asked, secretly taking out the silencer from his pocket and putting it on the pistol.

"It's a piece of cake, it's all done." The frog stretched his shoulders and twisted his neck, feeling proud that he had successfully invaded the bank's system.

"That's good." The mouse's tone was confusing. He raised his pistol and fired three shots at the frog's back. The frog grunted and fell down on the laptop, with bright red blood running down the computer keyboard. It flowed through the cracks and dripped on the ground. The mouse bent down and picked up the duffel bag containing the tools and left. When he reached the door of the safe passage, he suddenly stopped. Feeling unsafe again, he put down the bag, turned around and shot the frog mask man in the head again.

He took out the crowbar and pried open the door lock of the safe passage, lowered his head and glanced at his watch, and muttered: "The time is just right."

Just the right time. "The fox turned the steering wheel, slammed on the brakes, backed the van into the employee passage, raised his wrist and glanced at his watch.
