Marvel's Necromancer

Chapter 13 Untitled

When Ivan left the room, he always felt that he had forgotten something.

So he looked around and observed this greatly changed "cottage version of the Batcave". The originally empty ground was filled with various building materials, brackets and boards were erected, and rooms were reserved.

So far, only the room where White Spider stayed has been decorated. If Ivan doesn't get another room done as soon as possible, he will have to sleep on the floor today.

Ivan was about to direct the skeleton to move the building materials. He slapped himself on the forehead, and then he remembered that he had just left the skeleton warrior in the room. Although the Skeleton Warrior is not very intelligent outside of fighting, he still has three helpers. If Ivan alone could not even fit in a room at dawn.

He had no choice but to turn around awkwardly and knocked on the door: "I left something behind, can I come in?"

After getting Gwen's permission, Ivan opened the door, but he stood at the door and did not go in.

Just when Gwen was wondering what Ivan was doing, the "tada" sound she heard before sounded again.

She turned around suddenly, and the scene in front of her shocked her.

The three skeletons that she had originally regarded as decorative statues started to move!

Gwen stared closely at the skeletons. She saw the skulls turning and the mandibles colliding gently, making a clicking sound in a place familiar to Gwen, which made Gwen feel goosebumps all over her body.

The skeletons did not stop, but went straight to the door and passed by Ivan. Gwen turned her attention to Ivan, with an unkind expression on her face, waiting for an explanation.

"What is that? A robot full of personal evil intentions?"

"No, it's the undead." Ivan shrugged, not knowing where to start explaining.

"Undead?" Gwen felt ridiculous. The kind in legends and video games? Please, this is a modern scientific society, how can such a thing exist?

Ivan thought she didn't hear clearly, so he went out of his way to explain.

"It's the kind of undead mentioned in games and legends." Ivan scratched his neck, feeling that he should be more honest. "As you can see, I am the mage, and those few are my servants, the Skeleton Warriors."

Are you kidding me? wizard? Undead? Skeleton soldiers? Gwen felt that she was not awake yet, maybe because she hit her head before, what she saw now were all hallucinations.

She looked down at the half-eaten bowl of donburi in her hand, and suddenly lost her appetite.

Ivan was a little embarrassed standing alone at the door. He hesitated for a few seconds, then turned around and went out to direct the Skeleton Warrior to work.

Gwen heard the sound of ping-pong-pong-pong-pong coming from outside and was curious about what Ivan was doing. She got up and walked to the door, where she saw a scene like a construction site in full swing.

The guy who claimed to be a wizard directed the skeleton to move various building modules and splice them together.

Gwen hesitated and walked behind Ivan.

"You're kidding, right? Those are just robots made to look like skeletons?"

Ivan turned his head and looked serious: "Miss White Spider, I am a necromancer."

"Let me prove it to you."

Ivan found a small spider on the ground that might have died of starvation. Put it in the palm of your hand and show it to Gwen.

"What are you going to do? Make it somersault?" Gwen looked at the shriveled corpse of the spider in Ivan's hand, still not convinced, so he made a joke.

A black mist appeared in Ivan's hand and penetrated into the spider's body. The next moment, the spider's long legs twitched. Gwen thought she was dazzled. Then the little spider's body turned over stiffly and danced a tap dance on Ivan's hand.

"To be honest, I'm not very good at directing corpses to dance." Ivan said with some distress.

Is it a question of whether you can dance? Gwen was speechless for a moment and didn't know what to say.

"It's really evil." After a while, Gwen said something.

"I understand what you mean, can you make it stop now?"

Ivan nodded and said nothing. The spider stopped dancing and twitched a few times. The black mist was pulled out and returned to Ivan's hand, and the spider body was thrown to the ground.

Gwen looked down at the remains of the spider on the ground, as if it might suddenly jump to life.

"Magic is a kind of knowledge, just like science, and sometimes it manifests itself in very evil ways." Ivan explained gently.

"I hope this explanation will not cause you any misunderstanding."

Ivan was still worried that White Spider would suddenly point at him and say that there was an evil wizard and that there was no coexistence between good and evil. Then all his previous efforts would be in vain, and he would gloriously become a villain in Marvel, and then be beaten by superheroes every day.

"Cool!" Gwen suddenly looked excited.

"Huh?" Ivan hasn't reacted yet.

"I never thought magic really existed in this world? Does that mean heaven and hell also exist?" Gwen kept talking excitedly. "Where's Santa Claus? Did the dwarfs really steal the candy I threw away when I was a kid?"

This seems different from what I thought? Ivan was a little confused. Shouldn't it be a righteous hero who denounced the evil behavior of the Necromancer, and then the Necromancer realized his mistake, then changed his ways, joined the hero's camp, and became the hero's powerful assistant?

Why does this Spider-Man look so envious that you are so evil and cool?

This is different from Ivan knowing the original Spider-Man. Although Gwen is a righteous hero, she is still essentially a rebellious girl who likes to play rock music and formed a band with her friends. In an era where Satan has become part of the cultural symbol of rock and roll, the evil act of manipulating corpses is not In her eyes, it seems really cool?

"Ah, yes, some of it is true." Ivan replied mechanically. "Don't you think I'm evil?"

"It's very evil." Gwen was excitedly looking up and down at the skeleton being moved. "But it's cool, man. Are those real skeletons? Made of human corpses?"

"Let's get to know each other again. My name is Gwen. Mr. Wizard, what do you call me?" Gwen seemed to have calmed down. "Can't I keep calling you Mr. Wizard?"

"Uh, my name is Ivan. And I'm a necromancer, not a wizard." Ivan still hasn't recovered from the sudden change in White Spider's attitude. "Those skeletons are real."

"Ivan, it must be difficult to collect such tall skeletons, right?" Gwen couldn't help but glance at the three skeleton warriors as he spoke. Finally, I couldn't help but say what was on my mind: "Can I touch them?"

Maybe this girl is a weirdo? Ivan has not yet equated modern young people with Marvel superheroes in his mind, but he saw that Gwen quickly became familiar with him and felt that this was not a bad thing. So Xin Ran commanded the three skeletal warriors to put down their heavy objects, come over and stand in a row in front of Gwen.

"Cool!" Gwen observed these skeletons carefully and found that their joints were connected by mysterious forces, which looked very magical. She reached into her reserved pocket and took out her cell phone to take a photo with the skeleton. Only then did she remember that her friends and family might have been looking for her after she disappeared for so long during the riot at school.

But a large piece of the phone's screen was shattered and broken in a previous impact.

Ivan noticed the change in Gwen's expression, took out a mobile phone and handed it over.

"I'll lend you a disposable phone."
