Marvel's Spear Bureau Secret Service
Chapter 99 Special Mission
Chu Ling was sitting quietly in the solitary room alone. He had no restraint equipment on him and was not subjected to any interrogation.
Well, after encountering the Hulk and saving a pilot, he and Coulson were brought back to the military base amicably, and the two were kept separately.
This made Chu Ling understand one thing. Although SHIELD's headquarters and most of its forces are concentrated in the United States, it is not of the same mind as the US government or the military. In other words, SHIELD should not stop the US government.
As for the detention, he didn't mind too much. His ears suddenly twitched while he was sitting, and then he sat up straight. The interrogation room here was not as good as that of SHIELD, at least the sound insulation effect was much worse.
The next moment the door was pushed open, and a soldier who looked like a noncommissioned officer stood by the door and signaled to him that he could come out.
Chu Ling stood up, looked at Colson who was also standing at the door, and then walked out. Then the sergeant led the way and communicated with Colson with his eyes. The other party signaled to take the time and not speak.
Chu Ling followed silently, at least the problem was no longer in his mind. When he was sent to the solitary room, at least there were fully armed special soldiers behind him, but now he thought there were sergeants with guns leading the way.
After walking out of the building where the solitary room was located, Chu Ling immediately looked around the busy base. He saw that a transport plane had just landed. However, looking at the medical team preparing on the side, Chu Ling wanted to gloat, but he thought that he had also suffered from Hao before. That big guy should have enjoyed this treatment, and he wouldn't be happy anymore.
Seeing a stretcher coming off the plane, followed by the wounded who had been bandaged with minor injuries, Chu Ling slowly looked away. At least he didn't see the body bag.
"This way."
Chu Ling quickly retracted his gaze, then followed the sergeant, and smiled indifferently when Coulson looked over.
The building that looked like a command center displayed radar tracking on the big screen, as well as many video records from previous soldier terminals, but Chu Ling did not pay attention to these.
Instead, he looked at the commander in the center. He knew him. He should have saved his life before. General Ross, Dr. Elizabeth's father, or Dr. Banner's father-in-law.
However, he only briefly paused on him, but focused on the two people beside him. Chu Ling had also met both of them. One was the commander-in-chief during the Ghost Rider incident in Houston, Agent Maria Hill.
At this time, she was not the highest-level SHIELD agent present. She was standing next to the other person, doing the work of a deputy, just like she and Coulson usually did when they went out to do missions.
The person who asked her to serve as his deputy was Nick Fury, the black one-eyed director of S.H.I.E.L.D., whom Chu Ling had met once at Melinda's wedding.
"Sir, people are here."
Ross had a cigar in his mouth. He glanced back after hearing the words, and then waved his hands impatiently at a few people: "Okay, Fury, your people are here, you can go, I hope Hulk's Stop meddling in things."
Nick Fury just glanced at Coulson and Chu Ling casually, while still looking at the various battle videos in front of him.
Chu Ling also moved over at this time. The above clips were taken on various devices, some were taken from the aerial direction, and they were pictures of the helicopter's route. There were also bottom lines telling the moving route, which were the recorders on the armored vehicles.
The images of the soldiers were extremely shaky, and in several flashing images, we could see them shooting, and then the big green guy quickly approached, and then the camera started spinning.
Chu Ling remembered the first time he saw Hulk transform, the unlucky guy who was slapped out of the door by him, and his eyes quickly moved to the sergeant standing next to General Ross, the man who brought them here before.
Then he frowned in disbelief. If he admitted it correctly, this was the guy who was thrown out of the door at that time. He actually recovered?Or was he not seriously injured at the time?
Then he looked at the screen again, then pursed his lips and started thinking, but he didn't speak casually.
"I know, but I still suggest that we try to make friendly contact." Nick Fury didn't know when to stop looking at the screen and get his eyesight: "If we really have to take final measures, I think it's better to leave it to our SHIELD. We are professionals in this area.”
"No, you don't need to intervene. After this incident, a special arrest team will be set up. As long as you don't show up and get in the way."
Nick Fury looked back at Coulson and Chu Ling: "Are you causing trouble?"
"Sir, we just observed and saved the person." Coulson immediately replied.
Chu Ling didn't say anything. He just looked at General Ross. His gaze caught the other person's attention. He looked over and frowned.
"This is Agent Chu. He was the one who lured Hulk away that day."
Listening to Director SHIELD's bland introduction, General Ross was stunned for a moment, and then extended his hand to Chu Ling.
"Thank you for that day."
"You're welcome, it's my duty." Chu Ling shook hands politely, and then stood aside honestly.
Nick Fury looked at it, then thought for a while and said: "I will send Coulson and Agent Chu to pay attention to the follow-up of the Hulk incident. If necessary, you can transfer it to us at any time. Sorry, this is not an ordinary incident after all. We We will continue to pay attention, and if necessary, we will apply to the Security Council to take over directly."
"You know, this involves military secrets." General Ross frowned when he heard Nick Fury's soft threat.
"I know, that's why we haven't directly intervened yet, so we hope that your people who will cooperate with us will continue to pay attention."
"Okay, that's it."
Nick Fury tilted his head: "Get your things, let's go back."
Chu Ling and Colson immediately walked to the table on one side and started to get their equipment back, and then started to leave with their commander.
Ignoring the impounded car, the two followed Nick Fury and Maria Hill directly onto the helicopter.
"Back to headquarters."
After all four people got on the plane, Agent Hill ordered, and the helicopter took off immediately.
Chu Ling's eyes quickly scanned the three of them. Coulson sat quietly and said nothing.
"I've got a mission for you."
"Yes, sir."
"The military will contact Dr. Banner first, and if necessary, help him escape from the military's pursuit."
Colson and Chu Ling looked at each other, and both saw the confusion in each other's eyes.
"Who is Dr. Banner?" Colson's doubts seemed different from Chu Ling's.
"It's the Hulk." After Nick Fury explained to him, he then looked at Chu Ling: "This kind of power is not suitable for the military to hold. The headquarters will tell you the specific details."
"Yes, sir."
Chu Ling tilted his head and looked at the distant military base, not knowing what he was thinking in his mind.
