Lord of the Mysteries 2: Circle of Inevitability

Summary of the sixth part and leave

The sixth part is over, let me say something off topic first:

If you want to please everyone, you will not be able to please anyone. If you dare not write this or that, you will not be able to write anything. If you are always stable and only move in the safe zone, it means that a story is dying slowly.

Therefore, I thought very clearly before I started writing. I only please myself. I only write in the direction that I think is reasonable and appropriate, and then find people who are willing to read and like to read, and share this journey together.

As for those who don’t accept it, then don’t accept it.

Maybe I am old and have been gentle for too long, so many people have forgotten what kind of author I am.

Now I repeat it:

The floating clouds cover the moon but not the eyes, and the heart of seeking the truth is as hard as iron even if I die!

Well, those who are willing to read and accept it, continue to read on.

This part should be the one that I am happiest and smoothest to write among the six parts so far:

First, I rarely write about the theme of anti-travel, which is very fresh, so the front is very interesting and fun.

Secondly, it inherits the big world view of the mystery. There are too many forces and too many threads to take into account, and the rhythm of the story must also be considered. Therefore, except for the first part, I feel a little exhausted. I have to write here and there. In the end, not only am I exhausted, but the details of character creation and growth will appear shallow and diluted. I am willing but unable to do it.

When I return to the dream city, different forces are limited to different places, and the level of strength is suppressed to sequence 7. The development of the story is mainly based on reasoning and decryption. I feel relieved and have the energy and energy to do detailed and more in-depth descriptions, discussions and creations, such as the emotions and choices of Roshan, Emperor Roselle in the mirror, Bernadette, and Franca, Janna's self, Anthony's private state, and Lumian's changes, which I personally think is the most important, from only being able to see one person at the beginning, to being able to see those with similar states in the second part because of empathy, to being able to see more people in the middle because of emotions, and then to the influence of Roshan and Xiao Ke's words and performances in the dream city.

Third, I have always wanted to write an urban supernatural novel, and this one can be regarded as a small fulfillment of this wish, and the symbolism of the dream itself can be used to make the story more layered and richer.

Well, answer a few questions, I think it is difficult to express in the main text, or it is not suitable to express. ,

First, why does Tianzun feel desperate.

There are two reasons. First, the fusion did not start now, but has lasted for several years, and most of the time he lives in the state of Zhou Mingrui, an ordinary person, so Tianzun will inevitably be tainted with some human nature. Similarly, Xiao Ke will also have more divinity. This is why I repeatedly use gentleness and peace to describe Xiao Ke's performance in the final dialogue with Lumian. Some things are boring to write directly, and they have to be presented with details. In this dialogue, Lumian, from the initial reserved respect, to knowing the hope of his sister's resurrection and the origin of the aura of the fool on him, the emotional agitation is definitely not as calm and calm as the appearance, so he can't pay attention to his own words, and then it is close, sentimental, understanding and recognition.

The second reason is that before writing the mystery, why did I choose Cthulhu style and make such a setting? One reason is that I want to write about high-level beings who will also be angry, violent, and have all kinds of extreme and crazy emotions and tendencies. Since ancient times, God's will has been difficult to ask me to write once, and I don't want to write it again.

With emotions, hatred and obsession, many stories can be more tense, and many conflicts can be more natural and beautiful.

Second, where is Tianzun's backhand, why did he admit defeat like this.

Tianzun's backhand is in the Western Continent, in Penglai.

At that time, I involved three reasons for Tianzun's failure:

One line is the power of the people, and there are generations of efforts from the later generations;

One line is the arrangement and prevention of the original God across several epochs;

Another line is Tianzun's "self-inflicted evil", or in other words, you will rise with this, and you will die with this.

The great lamp god said that even for the existence of their level, fate is still wonderful.

This statement also applies to Tianzun, so the three major preparations he made eventually became the nails that nailed his coffin. One was the "traversers" of Sefirah Castle, who eventually gave birth to a little Ke with all kinds of obstacles and help. The second was the "wrong" uniqueness that was used to make the original God fail in the first resurrection, and finally stood on the opposite side of him and interpreted his current true state. The third was the matter of sealing all other source substances in the Western Continent.

This matter caused the gods to first give birth to the "Lord of Mysteries" before they could further welcome the end of the world, and Tianzun could quietly wait for resurrection.

At the same time, he left his main believers in the Western Continent to take care of those source substances, and only sealed a small number of extraordinary characteristics in the Western Continent, so that the people of the Western Continent could not be promoted to a higher level, and were endlessly enslaved. They were ants, and naturally could not affect his plan.

However, fate is still wonderful. With generations of people who sacrificed themselves bravely, the Taoists, monks, and scholars in the Western Continent gradually found ways to use other sources, from crude and dangerous to precise and orderly, relatively reliable, and then there were generations of "Heavenly Masters" and "Underworld Taoists".

How could these Western Continent people who hold high power not stop Penglai and suppress Tianzun?

So, you can see that I didn't lie. I have thought clearly about the historical background and story outline of the Western Continent. Well, the story outline is definitely not to write directly about the sacrifices and attempts of the people of the Western Continent from generation to generation, but to restore and see through the experience of the protagonist.

Back to the topic, since the setting is done, why don't we write about Penglai's backhand and the obstruction of the Western Continent in a heavy and colorful way, so that Tianzun can turn the tables, and then turn the tables again, so that there will be a climax and a real sense of pleasure of defeating a powerful person. ?

There are also two reasons for this. One is that I have figured out the emotions behind it. It should not be celebratory, joyful, and enthusiastic. It should be mixed with sadness, pain, and hopelessness, with a temperament that is not like the youth tour.

Well, despair and hope mainly refers to this section, the despair that inevitably moves towards fusion and the hope that retains the strongest part of emotions and humanity. It is the dawn of the end of the world. It is the hope that as long as you are alive, there is still a little hope and there may be better ways in the future.

This sentence in the preface is a summary of this section and a message to everyone.

In this state, I will write about Penglai's backhand and the reversal in great detail. After everyone is really happy and excited, I will write about the conversation between Xiao Ke and Lumian, what the final Lord of Mystery will be like, and "worth it". Emotionally, it may be even more difficult to accept.

Well, Xiao Ke's words, such choices, such integration and confrontation, I have actually mentioned them in the last part of Mystery, and I have repeatedly said so in interviews in recent years, so there is no deception, nor is there such a treatment for the second part. From beginning to end, it has not changed.

This was decided when I wrote the first part of Mystery:

Everyone will die, including me.

We are guardians, and we are also poor people who fight against madness and danger.

This is the tone of the whole book, and it has never changed.

The second reason is a technical problem. I haven't detailed the power system of the Western Continent chapter yet. I only have the historical background and story outline. The power system is so complicated that I don't have the energy to detail it at this stage, so I can only deal with it from a symbolic perspective.

The above are both experiences and problems. Sometimes, you can't have your cake and eat it too. But if you know where the problem is, and then think about it more, you may find a solution.

The third question is why I drew the "World" card first.

If there is no "World" in the sequence name, I would like to call the next volume "World". This points to the mother, and also to the inevitable perfection and end. Drawing it with Lumian has a strong symbolic meaning and also represents the theme of the next volume.

Similarly, why do I limit the power level to a lower level, no longer write that it is difficult to ask the will of heaven since ancient times, and let the high-level existence also have extreme emotions and crazy performances? It is because it is very cool to have a high power level, but some things cannot be written. If the power level is suppressed a little bit, and the characters are not so indifferent, I can write about the inheritance of the torch, the continuation of civilization, the efforts of generations, and the inheritance of spirit and will.

The fourth question is the dialogue between Luo Shan and her children.

This is because I told my daughter the story of the series "Detective Dog" two days ago, and she asked me what protection is, why protection, why, why, why, well, children of this age are walking with 100,000 whys.

I think this is the arrangement of fate, and then I used it.

Well, after talking so much, let's go back and interpret the title "Dream Weaver".

Xiao Ke and Tianzun who wove this dream, the original God and Adam behind the scenes, "Justice" and members of the Tarot Club, together constitute the theme of "Dream Weaver".

As mentioned in the preface just now, the moment may point to eternity is one of the themes of the two parts of Secret and Loop. The short and fiery outbreak is the other side of the hymn of human courage and the meaning of existence.

Finally, the title of the next volume is "The Second Law".

I originally wanted to call it "Mother", but it doesn't fit the preface I want, so I'll use "The Second Law".

Preface: Everything that will go bad will definitely go bad.

Finally, everyone should have guessed it, the end of one volume, take a break, sort out the subsequent stories, and resume updating at 7 pm on Friday.
