There was always risk associated with gaining great power, it was perhaps this danger that made those who were able to obtain it worthy of wielding it. 

" Alright, I'll tell you how to ascend to tier6 without taking help of the system, but you must make a promise to me that you will never share this information with anyone.

It's one of the last places where the queen can't stop one from ascending by themselves and if the knowledge is made public, she will sooner or later close this door as well " Kremeth said as he made it clear that discretion was absolutely necessary for what Max was about to hear next. 

Once again nodding Max made an internal resolution to not share the process with anyone, not even Sebastian for that matter. 

" Alright - 

To ascend to tier6 the theory is simple, your cells must evolve from those of a mortal changing your configuration from one that can handle mana to one that can handle divine essence. 

When ascending to tier5 you master the basic elements, it's not for nothing as the mastery of the basic elements is a key for you to understand the laws of the universe, a key part of your evolution. 

But the change is more than just a cellular process, becoming a god also means you need to have an understanding of the three laws of gravity, space and time. 

Only when you understand these three laws, will you be able to understand the true nature of divine essence, the theory of karma and what it means to be a god.

" Only 2000 keys were made back then given to only the most prominent factions. 

Back then it was a big honour to get one of these keys and only the most worthy disciples got one. 

I've got this key from my master and now I'm giving it to you, Max. 

Bring it back to me safely " Kremeth said as he explained the emotional importance of the key. 

As Max took the key from Kremeth he felt the history associated with the object and somehow it's weight felt heavier than it really was. 

The whole process of trying to promote to tier6 sounded very complicated but Max was determined to do it. 

" How do I know if I get a perfect evaluation or not? I'm assuming there won't be a system notification this time around when I'm promoted " Max asked worried that he wouldn't know how he performed in the promotion test since there were no judgement criteria. 

Kremeth chuckled when he heard this question as sometimes he forgot just how fundamentally brainwashed the new generation really was. 

" Boy let me ask you something, do you genuinely think that the universal queen gives you options and skill choices and evaluations after everytime you promote out of the kindness of her heart?

Do you think we became god's and learnt every skill move and attack by either inventing it ourself or learning it via a scroll? 

No- even without the queen people became god's and were evaluated.

The queen did not exist from the start of the universe, someone invented her and made her the governing power that she is today.

Naturally, your evaluation shall be done by them, but if you are really looking for a criteria then just make sure to bring the entire plane under your control. 

If you can do that impossible task then yeah you will have SSS for sure ". Kremeth said as his answer ignited a million questions in Max's mind.

" What do you mean master Kremeth, who would evaluate me? Your words make no sense to me " Max asked curiously however Kremeth was tight lipped and did not reply.

He knew how much he was allowed to speak about the celestials and how Max's life could be in danger if he talked too much about them when he was still a mortal. 

Max tried to probe again and again, but just like with the old man back in the battlefield he hit a brick wall trying to interrogate his old master. 

There was just something about the older generation that made them impossible to hold a proper conversation with. 

Eventually giving up, Max clutched the key and Kremeth gave him directions to the first warp gate out of 7 which he would need to take to get to the edge. 

There he would find a ship which would come with preloaded coordinates of the new edge boundary and should take him to his promotion test. 

Wishing him luck, Kremeth sent Max on his way, sincerely hoping that by the time the boy came back he would have become a god.
