Lu Jinnan was the first to walk in, and he cast a meaningful glance at Fu Huai’an. “I was on my way up when I bumped into Secretary Song, so we came here together.”

He was implying that Fu Tianci’s engagement was much too high-profile and there seemed to be no respect for Old Madam Fu.
