After the exams ended, everyone’s tension did not get much relief.

They still didn’t know their results nor whether they would surpass the first class. No one was certain.

Song Yaoyao waved at them and turned to board her car.

An Ruoyao looked at Song Yaoyao coldly as she climbed into the car and cursed between gritted teeth. The slap marks on her face had disappeared, but the humiliation was deeply imprinted in her heart.

She lifted her feet and started walking toward the car that was there to pick her up.

Song Jingwan pursed her lips and stopped her sadly, “Are you blaming me as well now? You don’t want to be friends anymore?”

In the past few days, An Ruoyao did not show any obvious changes on the surface, but her indifference had grown. She was no longer as warm toward Song Jingwan.

Song Jingwan’s tears dripped continuously as she moved to An Ruoyao’s side. She grabbed onto her hand and said sadly, “I know you might not believe me, but I’m seriously scared of Song Yaoyao. An Ruoyao’s eyes twitched; she was beginning to let her guard down because of Song Jingwan’s crying. “Anything else?”

“Last time, when Yueyue went missing, she suddenly came looking for me and pushed me down the stairs!”

“What?!”

An Ruoyao couldn’t help but turn her head. “That actually happened?”

Song Jingwan nodded as she held back her tears and smiled bitterly. “I’ve kept it in my heart all along because I was hoping she would come to her senses and realize her mistakes. But look what happened. She stole everything from me, and she wants me dead!”

“That’s because you’re stupid. How many times have I told you that Song Yaoyao is not a good person? I told you not to help her. But look what you did,” An Ruoyao said with disappointment.

These two had grown up together, so their relationship was naturally different.

In An Ruoyao’s heart, Song Jingwan had always been weak and kind, and she was nice to everyone.

It was normal for her to be bullied.

Song Jingwan quickly held onto her hand when she saw that she was finally willing to talk to her. “I know. I know I was wrong! I won’t do it again. Never again, okay? Ruoyao, don’t be angry at me.
